It's a shame... a beautiful neighborhood pub with decent food. My wife and I dined here for the first time because we live near by. The service is excruciating slow and they seem to take care of take out orders before the in house guests. The bartender could have been a 2x4.... ZERO personality. When I asked about the pizza and wings we had ordered after 1.5 hours she had no response, just turned her head and walked away. She honestly could have cared less... Like I said, it's a shame... when the pizza & wings came the food was decent. Breaded seasoned wings with all sauce served on the side. Pizza was ok. Crispy with crispy crust, pepperoni, and banana pepper rings. Seemed salty.... could have been the breaded wings, idk... Anyway.... wish it was better, I want to like this place, being so close to home. But I can't.... Service & lack of personality go a long way with me... read more

This place is our neighborhood go to. We are regulars. The best wings we have EVER HAD regardless. Period. We take out of towners here. The hype is real. The family who owns it is wonderful. This is very family friendly. The price range is family friendly as well. . Try the italian hoagie , the cheese steak or their pizza. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Lots of wood. I tried MacKenzie's wings a while back, pre-COVID and the wings were delicious. They were equally as good when I ordered last weekend, however, their prices were completely jacked up. I paid $53.00 for two dozen wings. Their website said $16.99 per dozen. Just before she rang me up, she said "sorry for the price increase - due to Covid." That should have been a warning that I received on the phone, when I placed the order; not after I waited; drove over; and handed her my card. I could have had a nice dinner with drinks for that amount. It leaves a bad taste behind. Won't order again. read more

They're wings are amazing! The style of the pub is cozy and warm! I love coming here with my friends and family, they have a very big dining area so you don't feel crowded or anything. The wait staff is always very nice and attentive to your needs. The pizza there is ALSO amazing. The best battered and fried wings in the area! Perfect blend of seasonings. Sicilian pizza is very tast with great crust and sauce. It can take while to get your food because they don't make it ahead of time but they have a friendly service, nice decor and good beer to make it worthwhile. read more

Great wings, good pizza. They need to hire more people, service is extremely slow but the wings are worth the wait. Other than the obnoxiously loud guy at the bar who apparently thought he was the only person there, everyone in the place can now tell you his top 3 favorite beers and his least favorite. He doesn't like Fosters at all , Bud light and Miller lite gives him a headache after he drinks just 3 so he sticks with plain ole Budweiser. Other than that my family had a good time. read more

When traveling through New Kensington have to stop at MacKenzie's for the spicy wings. Very large wings. Good food. Nice atmosphere. Also, take time out while waiting for those wings, etc., have a beer or two and talk to the owners that are working behind the bar and grill. Friendly. Nicest couple you will ever meet. read more

Stop here for food and a beer every once in a while. Good has always been good. Only thing is it is a little pricey. The wings are good and I love the gyros. The bar has cheaper prices than most other places around the area. read more

Our first but, not last visit was great! We took family with us for a quiet and comfortable dinner and that's exactly what we got. Very roomy tables. (i'm 6'4) The people are friendly,the food was great and the prices fair.We all had different meals. The wings,pizza,fish and hot sausage were all very good. Yes...the wings are really good but are expensive. Although, do not order appetizers. They are small portions. We ordered onion rings and literally got 5-6 rings for $5.00. The pizza is good here. They also charge for any sauces that you ask for. read more

I love this place! They have the best wings and hot pepper cheese balls. We go at least once a month. The subs are gigantic and also very tasty. The staff has always been super sweet, even when my daughter threw a mega tantrum. read more

What a disappointment my visit was tonite to this restaurant. It's been a favorite for wings in the past. It took us about 45 minutes to get our food and they were not busy. The fries were served about 15 minutes before the wings! I asked the server for fries on the side of the chicken salad and was told that was an extra charge...to just not put the fries on the salad!!! Really??? The wings were ok but by the time I got them...I was very disappointed. The server never apologized for the length of the wait time. Poor customer service and very customer Unfriendly. I won't be going back. Shame read more

Yes their chicken wings are great. BUT. Parking blows! almost t-boned backing out. The light was so DIM and dark it was depressing. All the walls are wood its drab no color or light coming in. I took my kids there and they become unsettled quite quickly they went from smiles to tantrums and nothing about the ambiance was helping. The server was a bartender that didn't seem to actually like being a waitress. I would have preferred her to stay behind the bar, she was miserable, but who blames her she worked in a dungeon. The chicken wings were great! Everything else was normal bar food, nothing stood out and IDK if I will ever go back but do take out for the wings only instead. I wish it was more family friendly. If your with a girl friend or guy friend and just wanna slam down some beers and grub on wings its a good place. Definitely not a place I would visit again during daylight, but how much darker can it really get lol!!!??????? read more
