i was in a m.v.a. on august 14th and was injured and was taken by ambulance to the hospital…read moreunresponsive and the officer at the scene called carl's towing. i had no choice in the matter and when i called the next morning, literally as soon as they opened and he told me yes come on up and we will talk about it. when i get there he says you can pay almost $500 for his services or pay $150 and sign the recipt and that would give him my car plus the $150 i had to pay to even look at my car, i only needed to get my important stuff from it and wasnt allowed until the money was paid and i signed the recipt. i had several personal belongings on my car and inportant papers that had my personal information on them, when i got to my car my laptop that was in my purse in the front seat was shoved up under the passenger seat and my medication i had in my purse was gone as well. the personal papers were gone to and i have had calls asking me to finish my requests, one for a walmart card and another from a car lot wanting to sell me a new car based on my request. i have not done anything to try for a new car because of insurance companies. the driver in the oposite vehicle gave the wrong information and i cant get anything done and i cant scrap my car for a possible down payment for a car because carls took my car. i have spoken with several diffrent organizations that say he is not allowed to do that, espically since my insurance company had not been notified of the accident and had no chance to even look at my car. in my opinion carls is a thief and shady. would not reccomend to anyone, not even someone i hate.

Called several repair shops who all stated 2-3 week waits. Finally found Modock's . Talked with George about our issue. He got the parts we needed and sent Bert out the next day to fix the truck. George arrived as the repairs were finishing and we tried the engine, found the fan hub was locked. George researched the part and got one coming for the next day. The owner arrived looked at the truck and said he couldn't fix it and that we had to tow it to his shop in Elizabethtown, KY. We arrived and in the morning a mechanic look at the damage and said he'd have it done the next day. That was Friday. We went back to check on progress and we were told that they couldn't fix it because they were missing a part. mind you when we arrived and they gave us the quote and told us they had everything. They then said they would have it repaired my Saturday. We went back Saturday at 8am and no one was there. Our trailer reefer was parked at the shop as well it was loaded and we had to keep it running. We called many times asking them to at lest gives us access to the tractor so we could syphon the gas from tractor to the trailer. The refused us access my husband had to pay an uber several rides to bring gas back and forth the reefer. We kept calling on Monday they answered and again refused us access to the tractor until we paid . We were not allowed to inspect the work. The damage was the in the wiring of the computer. We bought all the parts and gave them to the mechanic. So basically it was only labor. They charged us almost 4k and when my husband looked they had not repaired anything. They patched it enough for us to leave and get to Tampa where a real mechanic not a thief fixed it. Basically paid another 4k . Mind you they say they are open 24/7 but as you can see from the texts with they owner they are not. That man is a thief and possibly racist.
