The mango lassi sour drink was also really good, a good mix between beer and mango. They have an outdoor dining area that is under a roof and another festival style eating area. After the first sip of their Windward Belgian Wheat, I know I am going to get at least a 32oz Growler ($9+$4 deposit) home. The staff was friendly and let us do a free sampling of all the beers that was available for purchase. I even love their Grizzled Hipster which is a Double IPA!! I found most of their beers were smooth and balanced, just the way I like mine! Sadly their Jacquline Belgian Pumpkin Saison was SOLD OUT as it was just perfect for the Autumn Season. Taproom opens from 5 pm till midnight but they are more than willingly to pour you a pint $7 during the day if they are not too busy. A flight for $8 is not a big deal either! Beers were: Fast Eddie light, Blond, Cream ale & So many friends here. Flights are a great way to try a selection of beers. I loved the dark brew...but I love full bodied beers. The brewery has food which is awesome. Arvy's Street eats serves a variety of tacos. Since I won't be back I tried them all. I got the Birria tacos, the tandoori chicken and the Chana Masala tostado. Prince Eddy's is a great spot just off the main streets of Picton that serves some great beer. There's plenty of outdoor seating with umbrellas to keep you cool. There's a purpose-built stage for live performances. There's a current (?pop-up) resto called Slight Peppa that serves some Caribbean fusion snacks and dishes [I didn't get a chance to try this but it smelled pretty good!]. And of course, did I mention the beach volleyball court?! And now onto the beer! Obviously, not having tried everything they offered, I don't want to over-generalize, but the beers I had all trended towards light and refreshing, instead of heavy and strong in flavours. So basically, great summer beers. And great labels (I'm a sucker for good design)! Chiller Instinct (Dry Hopped Sour): I've always been a bit suspect of beers trying to do too much, but because most of the flavours are subtle, I found this worked really well, and may have been my fave! C.R.E.A.M. Ale: Smooth and a bit sweet. So Many Friends (Session NE IPA): A crisp IPA with a citrusy and floral flavours. I've never seen their stuff in the LCBO, but hopefully they'll make it big enough to get there. Otherwise, I wouldn't hesitate to order directly from them.

The brewery has 2 original ales: Country Brown and Cream Ale and a few seasonal. The only pub and restaurants you can find exclusively on tap are at the 2 restaurants on site: The Inn and The Miller House. We really enjoyed Country Brown but find the other so so. I would not make a special trip but if you are in the area and looks for some local beers to support small local breweries, Lake on the Mountain is quite decent. It's definitively worth stopping in if you're in the area. They had some merch (hats, T-shirt's, glasses, etc) as well for purchase.
