Our children have been patients at two of the "top-rated" pediatricians as we've moved over the years--and this is the only practice where you're truly treated as a person, not just a number. If you're looking for speed and convenience, you can always go to an assembly-line pediatrician. But if you want a true care team--literally two doctors who will know your children by name, provide thoughtful and individualized treatment, and actually keep you informed--this is the place for you. When I first called, Anastasia let me know they're a smaller practice. So yes, I may wait on hold for a couple minutes while they're helping another patient--but I'll take that any day over the rushed, impersonal care we've experienced elsewhere. At the other offices, they'd order multiple bacterial infection tests based only on symptoms I described over the phone--without even seeing my children. That's not care--that's just billing insurance as quickly as possible. Sky Valley is the complete opposite. Here, they take the time to listen, assess thoughtfully, and treat your family like their own.

TODAY the receptionist decided I was not on HIPPA which I highly doubt many months would pass while giving access to me and I not be on HIPPA. I asked to speak with a supervisor and she sent me to billing to be coy. I call back and magically a supervisor answered, nice lady, will give her a 5 star. The little girl answering the phones up front who mind you NEVER do, get a zero star if i could. The attitude sucks, make up there own medical rules, and times to answer the phones. even when you call 10 plus times. Front Royal needs better people.

At the end, I was told I needed to come back for the physical, and that what they had just done only counted as a re-establishment of care. I returned for the second visit, expecting something different. Instead, they repeated the exact same steps. Nothing changed. Then, I was billed for both visits separately--one as a re-establishment of care, and one as a physical. In reality, it felt like the same appointment split in two for billing purposes. This practice appears to be more focused on maximizing insurance billing than providing transparent, patient-centered care. I asked for an explanation but received no clear justification, just vague responses. This experience felt deceptive and unfair. I will not be returning, and I recommend others ask very specific questions about how their appointments will be categorized and billed to avoid being taken advantage of.

I have been seeing Dr. Tamara Spriggs for a few months now. This is by far the most attentive…read moredoctor I have ever seen. She is straightforward, helpful and available to call back quickly if I have questions or concerns. This practice opened just last year and have been building their practice. Even as they begin to see more patients I am never rushed and have always been seen for an appointment right on time. I HAVE recommended Dr. Spriggs to all of my family members. All the staff at Round Hill Family Practice have been great with everything from insurance and billing issues to last minute scheduling. They even call back the next day (if possible) with test results even if there is nothing wrong. In my opinion this is exactly what a medical practice should be.
