I corrected her over and over. She continued to say that they didn't like lots of people coming and going because it became a security issue. However, we never talked numbers so I'm not sure what "lots" of people meant. She never asked me for a time. Not sure if she was assuming an evening event with "lots" of young people. She also said normally at events like this, people are coming and going the entire time. I said so if my event started at 4pm and ended at 8pm, you would expect everyone to arrive by 4? The guests could not arrive at 5pm or 6pm. she had no answer. She stayed with her line about not being able to accommodate my request for this type of event. Again, I respect the No, but still not clear about the Why. Carrie's customer service skills need some fine tuning in my opinion.
