Beware of this place! I went in for a simple tire change (seeing all the positive reviews), but…read moreafterwards the owner told me to follow him into the shop because they found other problems. He and his mechanic then proceeded to shake two of my wheels which shook pretty bad, telling me that it is dangerous to drive around like that and that I had to get additional things fixed. He then showed me his estimate for the job which was pretty high. Frankly, when the wheels shook like that, I panicked a little and thought about getting it repaired then and there despite the cost, but then remembered a time when another mechanic did something similar at another shop (showing me shaky wheels) which turned out to be nothing but a scam to scare naive customers into spending more money. I took the car to three other mechanics, one of them a friend of mine and just as I suspected, there was absolutely nothing wrong with the wheels. Upon closer inspection, it seemed they either loosened a bolt or two somewhere behind the wheels to shake them like that to scare the customer (me), then tightened it back again when they realized I wasn't taking the bait. The owner seemed nice enough and competent at first, but I think they take advantage of alot of customers this way, especially women and some of the Korean population here, so I would really beware of this place. I could only imagine how many other of their customers have already fallen for sneaky, underhanded stunts like this to scare them into dishing out extra money for repairs they never really needed, including some of the positive reviewers on here, unbeknownst to them. I've even heard of some shops that actually break parts that were perfectly fine going in to drum up business, so always get SECOND or THIRD opinion whenever a shop 'shows' you sudden costly repairs that you apparently need. You will end up saving hundreds and hundreds of dollars of unnecessary repairs. Also, it goes without saying, but never trust how nice or accomodating they first appear to be. All that means nothing.

I asked around town if anyone has an HONEST and GOOD mechanic and two told me about Hank. I first came to him for a second opinion to have him troubleshoot an issue with my older SUV to see if a leak was fixed or not; basically if the residual staining was new or old. Truth be told he could have lied and told me it needed work and done work on it. But he said he thought they did fix it because it's not leaking. He kept the car two days to leave it running to see. He wouldn't charge me anything for his time and trouble and I had to insist he take something because he did keep it and evaluate it. I told him I'd most definitely be back when I needed work again. I did go back a few months later. I brought my other SUV in for brakes. I didn't know exactly if needed brakes or rotors or both and was prepared for all new ones. But Hank was honest and told me I didn't need new brakes. He adjusted what I needed and sent me on my way with a very reasonable bill. Finally this week after going another 25K miles on that SUV I needed the brakes and rotors. So I came back and Hank did it in a few hours. I also thought I needed shocks because it was riding hard asked him to look it all over since I'm at 111k miles on the car and if I need any hoses or other things please tell me. And again I would have believed I needed whatever he said. But again he told me he took it out for a drive and all I needed was brakes and rotors and he said if I ride with more air in the tires it will be smoother because the shocks and struts are all fine. And indeed with the more air he put in, it is it smoother now. And again his charge for the brakes and rotors was very reasonable. So today I brought our other car in because it does need struts and shocks and other things and Hank called me in an hour or so with a rundown about what it needs, what I might need soon and what it doesn't. He was honest again about what I could put off and how long etc. He told me the options for the different parts - some more money and why and let me choose. So again. He didn't try to sell me what I don't need or up charge what o do. Long story short. It's hard as a woman who knows some but not enough about cars not to be taken advantage of. I have high praise for Hank. He is indeed an honest and a good mechanic. He gets the job done quickly and cleanly and well. I HIGHLY recommend him.

They also received a well-deserved recognition from YELP this year -- I can't say enough about their attentiveness and prompt service. I brought in two vehicles to get oil changed (they do not take reservations for oil changes, it is first-come first-served), and both vehicles was done within an hour, even accommodating our tight schedule that we had planned for today! There's a slight price difference of additional $5 to $10 since last we visited; however, the prices are truly reasonable compared to nearby auto garages. I was told that the prices will go up in 2026 so if you haven't changed your oil yet, I would totally go for it before that happens! As per usual, they did more than just the oil change, they checked for pressure and brakes, as well as windshield wiper fluid and gave a once look over to see if there's anything that needs to be addressed right away. They never try to upsell anything and never felt any pressure to do any kind of service with them. What a luxury also to go into a heated lounge upstairs, prepped with Keurig style coffee, and snack and water while you wait. Definitely our family's TO-GO mechanic for sure!!
