Quesa Birria Tacos for hubby and I to share. Only 3 Tacos but we knew we were going to share a light meal. I had not had them before. The aus just sauce for a taco blew my mind. I like Angus beef and dipping sauce. Who doesn't? They were really good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals. The kitchen here is smaller and when asked about a specialty item we were informed that the Ankeny location had it but the kitchen here couldn't accommodate. I want to come back and try more. I had the flame burger from the food truck years ago and I think I would do that again too.

They have a hot red sauce and a more mild green sauce, which I got because I'm a wuss. The steak was flavorful and the shells were grilled and warm. They held up well, which is a plus for me. I don't like when they fall apart. They are served with a lime wedge, some radish slices and a salt packet but the salt content was perfect so I didn't need it. The menu is typical but they have a lot of meat options like pig stomach, beef cheek and tripe. I will definitely keep them in mind for a quick bite when I am in the area. Tacos are $1.85 each and there is a picnic table on case you want to enjoy your tacos by the truck.
