My previous experience with a different repair shop was lackluster, primarily because their three-month warranty expired just before the screen died again. In contrast, Gadget Parts distinguishes itself by offering a robust one-year warranty, usually unheard of. Upon dropping off the device, it was quickly repaired and ready for collection the next day. I particularly appreciated their hassle free approach to the warranty: it is registered directly to the device, no need for the original physical receipts. I'm so glad to have rediscovered Gadget Parts and would highly recommend them for any Apple device repairs. Hopefully, I won't have to come back any time soon!

Not many people would've gone the extra mile to give me all of my options, they would have just charged me the $150 and sent me on my way. He even went over the benefits of even buying a newer generation and how the security features are supported on my old one compared to my new one. If I ever need anything repaired in the future, I am definitely coming here. I will be confident that. I'll get an answer in an auto repair.

Instead, I was repeatedly told it would be ready "tomorrow"--first Friday, then Monday, then Tuesday. After nearly a week with no answers, I had to return and insist on getting my computer back because they still had not completed the diagnostic. Despite keeping my laptop for almost seven days, they provided no diagnostic whatsoever and refused to refund the $90 diagnostic fee. I essentially paid $90 for them to hold onto my computer without performing the service I paid for. To make matters worse, when my MacBook was finally returned, I discovered a large dent on the back that was not there when I dropped it off. The communication was poor, the customer service was unacceptable, and I left feeling completely taken advantage of. I will be filing complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the appropriate Orange County consumer protection agencies regarding my experience. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this business to think carefully before leaving their computer here. My experience was that they kept my laptop for nearly a week, failed to provide the diagnostic I paid for, refused to refund my money, and returned my computer in worse physical condition than when I dropped it off.

The project took way longer than it was supposed to, but I would've been okay with that had he honored his warranty and stood by his work. He offered his own warranty in addition to what consumers are legally entitled to by the CSLB. When my cameras went offline, he had me spend hours and hours with the manufacturer tech support before he was willing to even consider looking at them. It took months to get him to come back to my house to get the cameras back online. Before he came over, he argued with me on the phone wanting me to agree in advance to pay more money, even though they went offline within one year and are covered under both warranties. He tried to negate what the warranties covered and even the wording in his own contract. He finally came to get the cameras online but wanted me to agree to cap his visit at one hour and pay for any hours above that, regardless of the reason the cameras went offline. I said if they're not back online after the first hour we can talk about it, but let's at least see what he could do in that hour. When he came over, he spent ten minutes and got most of the cameras back online, but was very resistant to answering questions or explaining what he was doing or how to prevent them going offline in the future. He rushed out the door very quickly and wasn't willing to spend the full hour. I ran out to his car to tell him two cameras were still offline and the NVR was still offline but he left anyway. He said he would come back to fix the rest soon. It's been two months and he's been ghosting me. He won't respond to my calls or texts. I really liked Yitz initially, but he's broken my trust and I've given him way too many opportunities to fix the situation. I've had too much patience. Very disappointing.

I was with this company for over 6 years. Finally when they told me they had to change my main panel and that I would have to pay $300 for it, i decided to switch to Ring. That's when canceling with Epic became a nightmare. First I tried to cancel right after I got charged in November (so that I wouldn't be charged again in December) and they told me that my contract (from 6 years prior) required a 30 day cancellation notice (I notified them 23 days prior to my next bill) . So they told me that would be charged again in December and they come January 12 I would be done. I said that's fine, I paid Decembers bill and now come January 13 they have charged me again. I call to tell them about the mistake and representative tells me that in my contract there is a "60 days cancelation notice" lol, and that I'll be done come February 12. I'm disputing the charge with my credit card company and moving on. Sucks that this company works in this way. Here are the texts on November 23rd from 2 of their representatives stating that my December charge will be the final charge on my account (and somehow they couldn't get my name right after being with them for over 6 years) . Can't trust a word they tell you. Do NOT go with this company. Ring is a much better option
