Back in the day, Dots was known as the $10 store where everything was $10 or less - that is not the case anymore by far but they are still pretty reasonable. I can go in and find nothing or leave there spending $100 easily with BAGS of stuff from shoes, to accessories, clothing or coats. I bought a pair of boots not that long ago and I love them. They are like the generic version of Uggs and they are warm and cozy. I lost a button on one and went in to see if they had anymore or any buttons I could buy. They did not but the girl working there offered to take my boots and have me put on a new pair and she was sending mine back to corporate as damaged because I didn't have them that long and the button fell off. I was shocked and in disbelief. Are you serious? I said to her. Sure thing, she took my boots, I put on a brand new pair and she even cut off a couple of buttons off my old pair so I had back ups if needed. I bought another pair of the same boots in a different color and walked out with 2 new pairs for the price of one. WOW - Now THAT is customer service! This was a rare event and I really appreciate this sales person going out of her way to help me on this. There are other sales people there I just hate seeing when I walk in the door because they are extremely pushing and rude but this one was just too kind. Great coupon offers too!

Recently I visited and the quality of the clothing here is still high. When I was there, they were running a coat special: drop off your old coat for donation and get $20 off your purchase. I knew I had a couple of items I could donate, so I went home, picked up my old coats, and came back for my $20 off. In the back of the store is a "discount room" where you can find items on sale. There is men's, women's and children's clothing here, but the biggest selection is for women. I want to shout out to a couple of employees who provided excellent service recently. I dropped off an elderly relative while I finished an errand a few doors down. By the time I came back (which wasn't too long), they had helped her by bringing her a few items she wanted and had brought items to try on in different sizes, and she was already in the fitting room trying on items. They were wonderful. Dawn and Caroline, I think were their names, so shout out to them for their kindness and attentiveness! They made the shopping experience enjoyable and we are likely to come back because of them. Excellent customer is one way to differentiate yourself. Also, I want to mention that everything in the store was 40% off that day. With the $40 off our purchase with the two donated coats, we ended up with an excellent value. I have been shopping at Lands End for over 20 years. This was our go-to for winter coats for years. The coats are great for kids and adults. The clothing is classic, not trendy, and high quality. So for "Thank You Thursday" today I want to say thank you to Lands End for your excellent service!!

The six time I went in there omg somebody spoke, btw they have an all white staff accept one black girl working there and she's the only person that's ever said anything to me outside of when I'm buying something. She was so helpful even though I have a credit card with them and she signed me up for extra points to get extra money off nobody's never ever done that before and took the time out. This place has horrible customer service, they pick out who they wanna talk to it's really fucked up.

I feel like lately we've had more luck in the men's department than women's. One of my main gripes is that all of their clothes seem to be designed for someone who is at least 5'8. As someone who is shorter, I can't wear any of their maxi dresses or skirts. A few garments I also had to put down because they just looked cheaply made, which I know is probably the case but they have some really thin fabric. Again, the store itself is great but the selection is difficult for my size at 5'1.

Then I make my way over to my favorite section in Anthropologie, The CANDLES section! They have GREAT smelling candles! And outside from that, They have a good selection of stuff for the ladies. You're…read morewelcome ;) Anyway, I've been to this location three times now and while I have been helped by three different associates, all of them have been nothing but wonderful. Helping suggest items based on what I have picked out, suggesting different cuts and colors, and suggesting other items to complete my outfit. And, while most stores have gotten rid of helping out customers when they are in the fitting rooms, the associates at this store are willing to go get another size, a different cut, or a different shirt to go with the skirt you are trying on. It is kind of funny that the last time I was in a Maurices, I think I was in middle school, listening to Boyz II Men, looking for chokers to accessorize my overall shorts and butterfly clips to put by the thousands in my hair. While the music hasn't really changed (loved hearing "Ice Ice Baby" tonight), the styles have, but you can find an entire outfit right down to the shoes. The reason I set foot in this Maurices the first time was that I happened to be shopping at Target for something, but couldn't find what I was looking for and I figured Maurices might have it. I have continued to stop in because I'm one of those in-between sizes... in-between "regular" sizes and "plus" sizes. I can shop between the two shops to find the right combination of sizes that work for me. The shop is also well kept. There is nothing worse than having to avoid tripping on clothes on the floor, mounds of unfolded clothes on the tables, and piles of clothes in the dressing rooms, so I highly appreciate the effort they go to in order to maintain the appearance of the store. The white, pleather benches in the dressing rooms could use a deep clean, but I'm usually hopping around, balancing as I try on clothes rather than sitting down. This also saves me from having to spend 30 minutes driving to busy, packed malls!

The device was used maybe six times before the lightning connector broke off in my iPhone. The Manager said it was "normal west and tear". And not a manufacturer defect. All I know is it shouldn't break off after six uses. I recommend Bauer for clothing and outerwear, but avoid purchasing anything else. May also want to avoid the Mayfair location. The employee was helpful, manager so much.
