Near Mizner Park, VI Coffee is tucked in a small plaza but it's serving major vibes. This dog and baby-friendly spot is one of Boca's top coffee shops for a reason. You walk inside and are greeted by delicious pastries. Though the inside isn't huge, there are a few high tops and a long table with bar stools lining the front window. Outside, you'll find a turf-covered yard with a couple of tables and chairs. On weekends it gets busy, so I recommend getting here early if you're planning on dining in. The drinks we ordered: - Seasonal gingerbread iced latte, which was probably one of the best gingerbread lattes I've had. The drink was topped with cinnamon cold foam and a piece of gingerbread-flavored cake. - Lutinni iced latte with chocolate and hazelnut perfect for chocolate lovers! It comes with a Ferrero Rocher. The food: - avocado toast - kept it simple this time around but this toast never disappoints. It's fresh and the bread is crispy - and the guacamole is topped with a fancy flower garnish. - VI also has pastries, other breakfast sandwiches and plenty of lunch wraps and sandwiches.

The coffee and tea is high quality and delicious, with some great desserts and snacks too. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the place is locally owned by an amazing member of the community. They hold some events like open mic nights, bingo, and trivia, so definitely check it out!

Service was very quick! Cashier was funny and informative. The matcha was extremely earthy. I definitely should have sweetened it a bit looking back even though it tasted authentic. My mom loved her tea. The indoor space was very large. There were a bunch of games such scrabble, card games and others that customers could take off the shelf and play! The only negative thing I have to say was that the music was painstakingly loud that I could barely hear my mom and she was sitting right in front of me at the table. It was also super cold inside on a day in Florida where it was in the 30-40s range of temps outside. Overall, I would love to come back to try the coldbrew! Additionally, they had a cute winter seasonal menu that I would want to come back for.

She apologized when coming back but it was a little odd, we waited about five mins or so. I told her I was considering the tiramisu latte or the pistachio latte and I was hoping she could help steer me in a direction. I asked what she thought between the two and she clearly found my question odd bc there was a long pause before she said it depends what I'm in the mood for. Which isn't very helpful at all lol. And she said it with a bit of sass, like what a dumb question to ask. I don't think my question was that outlandish, many places have specific favorites or recommendations. After discovering the tiramisu latte relies on the cream top that can only be made using cream and no non-dairy products, I decided against that one. Without the cream top, it's just a vanilla latte she told us. Typically the pistachio latte is made with syrup and a pistachio butter but she said even the pistachio butter is made with condensed milk. We wanted to confirm paying for a pistachio latte would be the same as paying for a latte with syrup added and she said it would, but again she seemed kinda annoyed or impatient by our questions. Not friendly service at all. It came out to $8 for an iced latte ($1 for non-dairy milk) in an albeit cute container but it was just subpar.

I love the grass wall inside. There are a few tables. I sat here for a while doing some computer work. It was quiet. Really enjoyed my experience here. I will be back!

What drew me in to coming to The Seed were the advertisements for 'bagel bombs' on Instagram…read more Walking in today, it's obviously a very "trendy" place and every customer in the store looked like carbon copies of one another. The service was a bit lackluster, no real enthusiasm or warm greeting at all. For one seasonal "bagel bomb", a spinach and cheese empanada, a cinnamon roll, two cake pops and two regular iced lattes, the total was almost $50, which is literally insane. That's more than a full breakfast for 2 at an actual restaurant. We ordered our items for dine-in, and everything was cold. I just figured they'd be heated up, but I'm not entirely sure? Maybe it's something you have to ask for? If you're choosing to sit in the restaurant, you can't grab a table first and wait for your name to be called because they just don't speak loudly at all. So everyone was crammed in the corner of the place waiting for their order. The spinach empanada was pretty bland, didn't taste any cheese at all. The cinnamon roll was a bit dry, flaky like croissant dough, but the icing was very good. The "bagel bomb" had delicious flavor, but wasn't a bagel at all. I'm not even sure how they get away with labeling it as such. Similar to the cinnamon roll, it was flaky and light like a croissant. I was bummed about that because that's the whole reason why I came, for a bagel bomb, not a croissant bomb. The white cakepop with sprinkles was flavorless, but the chocolate was very good. As far as the coffee goes, we got the cinnamon toast crunch and reeses puff lattes. I heard two people ahead of me order their extra sweet and I understand why. It was definitely lacking that "cereal" milkiness or sweetness. Tasted just like a latte with some cereal sprinkled in it. However, they do write nice little notes on the lid, which is a personal touch. Unfortunately, you can tell that people come here mainly for the aesthetic. I certainly don't think the coffee or food warrants a line out the door. While I love supporting smaller businesses, if they put half as much effort into what they're selling as they do into their social media marketing and decor, I think it could've been better for me. It pains me to say it, but you can absolutely go to Dunkin/Starbucks for better taste and a fraction of the price.
