This friendly French breakfast and lunch cafe just returned from a well deserved two week holiday. I have been a patron for years. While they were closed there was a surprising change in their ambiance. It feels so warm and welcoming. The service is excellent and the food is healthy. Went to Noisette this morning (Saturday) to try their crepes for breakfast. I ordered the Apple Crepe which has apples, cinnamon, walnuts, honey and a dollop of whipped cream on the crepe. The crepe was absolutely awesome. The cafe was crowded when we walked in and even though some of the tables emptied, they were quickly filled up by the people waiting for tables. I also noticed that there is also outdoor seating, and there were people dining outside. I met the owner (Alex) who was helping his staff out. What a great little breakfast find! I love how they have indoor and outdoor seating for those who want to not smell like breakfast food or want to bring their doggies to breakfast. The place is located in a quaint plaza also with some cute stores in the back. Keep in mind. The parking is a bit limited on the weekends. But there is more parking on the side and back of the plaza as well. My party really enjoyed the food and the coffee concoctions and the service was very attentive. Very disappointed this time, my sandwich and my friends had one thin slice of turkey and mine 1 thin slice of prosciutto and they forgot the mozzarella cheese, for $18.00 for 1/2 sandwich and small salad is Very expensive. Had to bump up my review. Whenever we go down to FL to visit my in-laws at Thanksgiving, we go here for lunch. This past time was no different and I had the french onion soup to start - just as delicious numerous years later. BUT - the absolute shining star was the quiche. Wow! I got the feta and spinach and it was the best thing I had all Thanksgiving week! It was delicious - the crust was nice and flaky and the perfect amount of feta and spinach. Honestly, I don't remember how the food was or anything else because I was smitten by amazing service and friendliness of everybody. Truly genuine desire to make everybody's experience perfect. We had coffees, croissants and crepes. Croissants were so fresh and crispy. Crepes were also delicious. I would recommend the place. And, when I am in the area again, I will definitely stop by. I have been back to this charming French café about four times since my last review and it won't be my last. It is my daughter's favorite place to go. It has such a nice vibe inside and out. The food is always good. I usually get an omelette. We always get Nutella crêpe for the table and my daughter loves the French toast. I have had the quiche in the past which was also very good they make check out real fast. They have cute little Eiffel Towers hanging from the ceilings. We had a lovely breakfast at Noisette French Cafe. My husband ordered the Nova Croissant and he really enjoyed his sandwich. I had the Crepe Madam and found it very tasty. For dessert we had a chocolate and an apricot croissant. Both were tasty. The lady that helped us was very sweet and kind. One thing lacking is a selection of fresh juices for breakfast, they serve bottled orange juice which I don't care for. I had an amazing brunch at the Noisette French Cafe today. I was in the area for a friends tag sale and then some exercise after so by the time I arrived I was hot and starving. My first impression walking in the door is that this place is so cute. I love the floor to ceiling windows which let in the light and the charming French decorations. Outside they have a little courtyard set up where some people were dining with their furry companions. The service was so warm and welcoming. Everything on the menu looked mouth watering so it was difficult to choose but I ended up ordering a cappuccino and chicken cordon bleu crepe. They also sell French pastries, croissants, baked goods, macarons, coffee, eggs, salads, sandwiches, panini, soup, cookies, quiches, wraps, tea, espresso, and lattes. While I waited I saw the great care they took cleaning and sanitizing in between customers. Whenever the girl was not helping someone, she was in the dining area wiping things down. The restaurant is sparkling clean. My cappuccino was delicious and the perfect accompaniment to the delicate, rich crepe stuffed with ham, chicken, and melting Swiss cheese. This place was wonderful! I took my husband for his birthday breakfast and we both really enjoyed our food and the service was quick and friendly. If you go you MUST try the quiche it was incredible. We went in December so sitting outside was great, really beautiful patio area which is covered in case of rain. Inside is very quaint and cozy and the smells alone made me want to come back again. We came here for lunch on a fairly busy Saturday. We seated ourselves once they'd cleared a table. There's not much ambiance as the walls are glass. There's a pastry case as you enter. Service was okay. After we'd ordered off the menu, we heard another server telling the next table over about some specials. It would have been nice to hear -- whether or not we would have ordered them. My husband got their pate capagnard sandwich - a rustic style pate -- it came with pickles and lettuce on a baguette roll. The pate was good, but he was disappointed by the small amount of it. I had their soup and sandwich combo. I got their caprese (cheese and tomato) which was on a very tiny narrow baguette. The small sandwich came with a cup of bland onion soup. The soup was thin and watery. It had two small pieces of bread floating on top that had a little bit of shredded cheese melted on top. In case you're wondering "Noisette" isn't the name of the (non French) owner. And it's not referencing a small round piece of meat like in a lamb chop. The second translation from French has to do with hazelnuts and chocolate. Nope. Not that either. She just thought it sounded like a "cute" name for a restaurant. read more

Trying new places for lunch is fun. My wife wanted to try this place she had book marked it as somewhere she wanted to try. We both love French cuisine and agreed to try. The restaurant is in a strip center with several other eateries with ample parking. With glass all around we could see many of the tables were already occupied. It took a moment for us to ask for a table and they started to seat us in the back. We requested a 2 top near the front and waited a minute while it was bussed. Once seated we looked over the menus and made our choices. I selected a Pate on a baguette. I really enjoy good pate and this pate was good, only the portion was probably enough to spread on a slice of toast. As we were eating a table of 4 was seated next to us and we heard the server explaining the daily specials, (which was not offered or presented to us). Good food but you'll leave hungry. read more

It had been a while since I visited this location and when I recently did I noticed they had changed the name. It used to be Baker of France... not owned by the people who managed it before so you get the same friendly great service and same quality delicious food. Setup is very similar and so is the menu. They have sandwiches in their fresh baked French bread, or in croissant; soups, salads (very fresh), cheese plates, sweet and savory crepes, soup, and also escargot. The Nutella cappuccino is still one of my favorite coffee drinks there and the Prosciutto and Ham panini is my go-to item on the menu. Olive oil in their French baguette with perfectly melted brie cheese, it's just addictive. I love to have it with their salad on the side (you can pick from salad, soup or fruit). Their salads is a mix of greens with onions, cheese, black olives and a vinaigrette that really makes this salad special. And if I'm having a sweet tooth their Palmier is what I get - Flaky, buttery and just the right amount of sweet to not making overwhelming. Let me begin by writing, it is extremely rare for me to give a low star review and I have got to write that this was the third time I attempted to go to this establishment... the first time, they were closed... the second time, two hours before close they told me the kitchen was closed so I couldn't get a sandwich, as there was a potential hurricane happening in two days from then, and the third time... I decided to do a Pepsi Challenge between them and Cote, which is in Royal Palm Place, across from Lemongrass and next door to A Paris Nail Bar. I finally got to order the campagnard sandwich on a French baguette, since they were open and willing to serve me. The pate on the sandwich was fair, and they claim it came in from France, by the way.. not baked in house, like Cote. The bread was half the size of what Cote provided and unusually hard. And, for $2.60 more, they didn't even give a side salad, like Cote does. As you may gather from my last two experiences... I will continue to go to Cote... where the bread is perfect, the pate is baked in house, absolutely scrumptious, and they put extra cornichons on for no extra charge (like Noisette)... In my opinion, this place has an attitude, more expensive for half the food, and quite frankly not as flavorful as their competitors...I won't be coming back... read more

My husband and I wanted so badly to love this place. French cafe? Outdoor covered seating? Coffee and actual breakfast items (not just pastries)? Check, check, check! Unfortunately, the quality of the food and service is lacking. Our waitress was friendly, but not very attentive. I think this has more to do with staffing. There were two employees working 10 tables, coffee bar and register. The cup that our milk came in for our coffee was extremely (and obviously) dirty-- see photo attached. We ordered the savory crepe (cheddar, mushrooms, onion, fried egg) and lox breakfast (coffee, eggs, lox, baguette). The savory crepe was tasty, but was a little soggy. The most disappointing aspect was that the mushrooms were very obviously not fresh, they're likely canned -- see photo. Using fresh mushrooms would add so much flavor and texture to this dish. The egg was perfectly fried and made a great addition to the crepe. The scrambled eggs were cooked well in the breakfast platter. It didn't seem like it was a giant vat of egg mixture mixed in bulk in the morning. It looked to be freshly scrambled for this meal, which is awesome! The lox itself was average. Not super fresh tasting but not bad. Comparable to if we were to purchase from the grocery store. The baguette was decent. I'd say it looked and tasted like a hybrid English Muffin + French bread. Overall disappointed in this restaurant. I can see why people would enjoy it because I loved the outdoor seating area. Great location. However, especially for the pricing compared to other breakfast places, the food quality lacks something to be desired. read more

i went here with my mom and was pleasantly surprised. it's a small, cute cafe. wonderful staff. i ordered a caprese sandwich, which i get a lot at other restaurants. the pesto and cheese were great and even my mom said she liked the extra crispy bread, but there was literally only one tomato. ONE TOMATO!!!! a caprese sandwich is supposed to have an ample amount of tomatos. and the tomato they have my wasn't even ripe. my mom ordered a croissant. it came with a tiny jar of jam which you get to keep. it was fine. not crispy at all but kind of buttery. i've had better. overall, i would go back again. i'd probably ask for a hell lot more tomatoes, but there are a lot of other things i'd like to try from there. read more

I wrote a review of Noisette Cafe last year and I have been true to my word and have brunch there every Sunday and sometimes an additional weekday. Noisette Cafe is truly a hidden gem in Boca Raton, Florida. Stepping into Noisette Cafe is akin to walking down the Champs Elysees in Paris. The food is matched by the staff. Everyone has a bright, cheery attitude and you can tell that they love their jobs. Even the owner helps out with service when needed. The food is excellent! The crepes are so good that they rival true French creperies in France. I have had their French Onion Soup, Smoked Salmon platter, French toast and of course the crepes! All of the desserts and croissants are baked fresh on site daily. You owe it to yourself to stop by and try it. You will be hooked just like I am. I am attaching a photo of the special crepes that I have every week. They are crepes with extra whipped cream, white chocolate sauce and fresh strawberries. The mushrooms were canned (c'mon, slice your own fresh shrooms) & the crepe itself was swimming in a pool of liquid from poorly seared vegetables. Blech. Food is okay. The staff is not very friendly. They don't like having kids in their establishment so I suggest going without children if you want to try it. I went with a friend and our 4 kids (age 6, 5, 2 and 8 months) who sat at the table quietly the whole time - they did not run around the restaurant at all. When our bill was brought out the mandatory 18% gratuity was included because we were apparently a party of 6. I mentioned to the waitress that young children shouldn't be included in that but she got upset and started arguing with me. My friend and I didn't want to cause a scene so we just said okay and paid it. The funny part is that we had planned on leaving her a 20% tip but ended up just paying the mandatory 18% she charged us.
