What an incredible show! If you want variety, this is one of them. This show is filled with tons of amazing stunts and performers. The stage set up just yells incredible production value. With every mini act of keeps you yearning for more. Even with the host or intermission act, they were entertaining. Other cirque shows have one, but isn't that great. Overall, it is a great show and definitely worth the watch!

I was recently in Las Vegas for my birthday weekend and decided to see Mad Apple because I have already seen all the other cirque shows. I would say my favorite is O and second being Ka, third is Mystere. Mad Apple was a really great show and a bit different than the other ones given that there was some stand up comedy, shadow puppets, and more dancing versus circus acts. They do engage with the audience and the auditorium itself is fairly small so it is a much more intimate setting than the other shows. There is a lot of great music in it and the total run time it's under 90 minutes. It is a bit different than the traditional Cirque show so that may upset some people, but I would suggest if you are a fan of Cirque shows and do you think it is a solid show to see while visiting Vegas.

I'm a huge fan of Cirque du Soleil's fabulous showmanship in general, but having lived in NYC for a number of years from Greenwich Village to the Upper East Side to Alphabet City to Midtown, this show particularly resonated with me. A true variety show, Mad Apple features singing, dancing, comedy, and more, including of course Cirque's signature acrobatics and aerials. I'm fairly certain there isn't a bad seat in the house, so no need to shell out for super expensive tickets!

Absolutely amazing show! Comedians. Aerial artists. Talented singers. Interactive. Adam is so funny. The 2 Hispanics on the turning wheel were amazing. The 2 Asian girls with their silk ropes were amazing as well. The guy with the abs was so strong. He made it look so effortless. Everything about the show was fantastic.

If you have seen the traveling version of Cirque de Soleil, know this isn't the same thing. Although acrobatics is less emphasized, there are still some edge of the seat moments. This show, however, is 90 minutes of pure entertainment. Packed with music and song, magic, comedy and dance, the focus is to keep you entertained and they did! The show moves quickly seamlessly weaving song with circus like acrobatics, dance with comedy and a fairly amazing and definitely creative shadow puppetry moment.

It was good show. I was expected to see typical Cirque de Soleil show but it wasn't. They had comedy time, shadow puppets, and kind of painful shows. It was very variety show. Singing and Acrobatics parts were awesome! The stage is very small compared to other Cirque de Soleil show. Before the show starts, you can go up to the stage and order drinks and take pictures. That was cool. 'O' is my favorite. This show is cheaper but you can see variety shows. I recommend it.

I took my friend who recently became a widow to this show. It was last minute booking. She really wanted to see a cirque show. Everything sold out except Mad Apple. They didn't offer senior rates, but I did find seats in the side for a great price. No matter where you sit, it's great. It's a more intimate theater that I'm used to. I've attended a lot, my fave being Joyá. I've purchased merch and photos at each show. All the performers were amazing! Talented, I watched everyone's facial expressions, the musicians professionalism, I was really impressed with the horn and woodwind players. The energy the performers have me energy. It was my friends first time, and she really enjoyed it. Of course I bought a tee and the photos. It's not like the other cirques shows I've seen but it was totally fun. As a retired musical theater performer, It made me miss the stage. Our favorites were the aerial acts. Seems like this theater was a little more organized than the Mysteré theater crew that's handled tickets, etc... Then you for an enjoyable night.

Omg what an amazing vibe!!! Pre show entertainment was absolutely fantastic that led right into the presentation. All in full on entertainment. If you are thinking about it go ahead and take action. This show is well worth it. From the music to the theatrics this show keeps you constantly engaged. Well worth it. A must see

Amazing set up! You are encouraged to go up on stage to take photos before the show. The staff are extremely kind.

Mad Apple is a Cirque du Soleil show located in the New York New York hotel and casino, in the south end of Las Vegas Blvd. I absolutely loved this show. Firstly, the price was right (the most affordable tickets of all the Cirque du Soleil shows in Vegas). Secondly, it's not a traditional, abstract, and acrobatic-heavy Cirque show. It's a variety show with live singers, musicians, dancers, acrobats, aerialists, and other circus acts. The performances were all amazing. My favorite was the hair aerialists and the wheel of death. Thirdly, the venue was perfect. I got seats on the last row of the first floor, and was still able to see everything perfectly. It looked like they have some performers that rotate or aren't permanent, such as the magicians and the stand-up comedian. Both were my least favorite... the humor felt out of touch with the rest of the show. Overall, I loved this show and would love to watch it again. The repertoire and the venue made it worthwhile.

My husband and I attended a 9:30pm show on a Friday and sat in Section 305 Seats AA 1-2. The section is bar stool counter seating which we enjoyed as we had a nice view of the stage from up above. We arrived around 9:20pm and the staff were very friendly upon greeting us and showing us to our seats. The show is about 90 minutes. The performers are amazing with high energy! Before the show started, they had guests participate in games up on stage and you could grab drinks on stage. Once the show started, there was no photography or video recording allowed. From singing, dancing, acrobatics, to stand up comedy skits, this show has it all to keep you entertained. This was a great ending to our night. The show is located in New York New York Hotel and Casino. We were able to walk from Park MGM and went through the back side of the entrance this way on the T-Mobile Arena side. The theatre was closest to this entrance.

I enjoyed and loved this variety show. They have two Comedian, one named Jennifer. Both were really super duper hilarious. I can't stopped laughing at their witty jokes. They have jugglers and acrobats. There is one guy who balances on balls and several shelves. He was so good and coordinated and he was so high up from the floor.

    Ryan S.

Walking into Mad Apple at New York New York felt like stepping straight into a high energy party. The show is phenomenal and packed with talent from start to finish, and the pace never really slows down. It's less of a traditional Cirque du Soleil production and more of a beautifully produced variety show, with acrobatics, live music, comedy, dance, and a whole lot of personality on stage. I was already entertained before the show officially began and the momentum just kept building from there. The performers are wildly talented and the energy in the room is contagious. Ninety minutes flew by so quickly that I honestly wished it had gone longer.

Ask the Community - Mad Apple by Cirque du Soleil

How long is the show, 2 hours?

It depends on the interaction with comic and magician. Our show was 90 minutes tonight (7/27/24 @7) because of the repartee between these performers with our very responsive audience members.

What is the soundtrack like? What kind of music?

80s/90s with a house dance mix.

They had amazing craft cocktails with genius combinations. Surprisingly, it was Friday night around 10pm, and it was pretty empty. My husband and I aren't partiers or clubbers, so this was a wonderful experience of craft cocktails, a calm environment, not loud music, and chill, attractive ambiance and decor. I'm sorry I couldn't remember the bartender's name - but he was wonderful. Also a CA expat. I know this won't be the same for everyone that goes there, but pretty much had a one on one experience, because there was really no one else there. The food options looked great, but we just ate a large meal. They sounded great, and the prices were fair. Cocktail prices were also fair given the absolute quality and craft. I was disappointed by the simulation. $36 per person I think, for 3 races. Mind you, it is a simulation of an F1 car. I don't think all the kinks and knots were worked out on the machines, because they didn't work very well, races were short and didn't really seem worth the price. Now regardless of your skill or lack thereof with consoles and games, even my husband, who has a lot of experience playing driving and racing games with manual mode, found it troublesome It's a cool experience - but I wouldn't pay for it again. We absolutely love cars, so in general the theme is awesome (even if you're not a gearhead), but would come back here again for the amazing cocktails, especially if it's as chill and quiet as when we went here.

It is a masterpiece, and I would watch it again in a heartbeat! The visual spectacle of this show is unmatched, primarily driven by the engineering marvel of its incredible moving water stage. The technicality of the custom-built water tank is mind-blowing; it seamlessly transitions from a solid floor to a deep pool in seconds right before your eyes. The show keeps you on the absolute edge of your seat as world-class divers plunge effortlessly into the water from heights of up to 60 feet (with performers doing breathtaking dives even from the lower 10-foot platforms in stunning, synchronized sequences). Every single acrobatic sequence is flawless, defying gravity and logic. What binds it all together so beautifully is the gorgeous storyline, the breathtaking lighting, and the hauntingly beautiful live music that perfectly sets the mood for every act. It feels less like a theatrical production and more like a fluid, surreal dream. If you only see one show during your time in Las Vegas, make it this one. It is an absolute triumph!

As MOH, I planned the party and spent a lottt of time going through reviews on Yelp and Reddit bc there was a lot of pressure to find the best option and decide for the group. After all my research, I'm SO glad I decided on Frederic -- the bride said this magic show was her favorite part of the trip!! (and we went to Tao dayclub the day before lol) :) I love that it was in a small, intimate theater, so that you were up close no matter where you sat. And there was SO much audience interaction -- our bride even caught a frisbee and got to go on stage -- which was fun and helped make it even more special for her. The mentalism was such a cool departure from traditional physical magic tricks -- we all loved it and had many *gasp* moments. We even got to meet Frederic after, and he performed more mentalism up close, which was cool. HIGHLY recommend this show!! (Also, it was $30/ticket, which is a price you cannot beat in Vegas)

Absolutely spectacular! This is hands down the best show in Vegas…read more My family and I booked this show for a Saturday night with no knowledge of what it would be like and were simply amazed. We had seen the Cirque du Soleil Show "O" before and this just does not even compare. I recommend getting seats in the center, facing the middle of the stage, as close to the front row as possible. Sitting in this section immerses yourself into the show. Logistically, this is a great venue. It is located in Treasure Island. It is in the back of the casino. Although there are signs throughout the casino leading you there, it is quite easy to get turned around on your way there. Once you find it, it is simple to enter. Use the restroom before you get in though because it is located outside of the theater! We arrived around 20 minutes prior to showtime and had no wait at all to enter. They offer commemorative photos for purchase, which we declined. There was no security which surprised me. There were no metal detectors or bag searches. Inside the theater, there is a large concessions stand with snacks and drinks. Even close to show time, there was no line there either. They have a lot of staff available to guide you to your seats - it's very efficient. The seats were actually very comfortable. They were soft, spacious, and had a lot of leg room. Even though there were no lines for anything, you absolutely need to get there early. The "show" starts before is set time as there is a comedic character that hilariously interacts with the crowd. This is a must-see and had everyone cracking up with the unexpectedness of it. The show itself is pure spectacle. It is a bizarre exhibition of talent and creativity. You will see everything from trapeze, contortion, acrobatics, dance, balancing acts, comedy, and live music from an orchestra, band, and singers. Seeing these athletes push the limits of what the human body can do in such a beautiful manner is incredibly thrilling. The costumes are beautiful and the sets are amazing. Every scene change and act is so unexpected and really leave you at the edge of your seat. You quite literally have to keep your eyes peeled open to make sure you don't miss anything. There are so many different things happening at once all across the stage, on the floor, the ceiling, and even along the walls and walkways of the audience. There is no clear plot so you may find yourself sitting there trying to figure out what it all means. Some people may find this boring but it truly makes the whole thing more fascinating. There is an obvious intention behind every little thing, it is just unclear what it is. It is truly a mystery. I have recommended this show to everyone I know and I would love to see it again!

Most of the show is nonsensical, so don't look for a plot. Something to consider if you think to yourself, I've seen this before, the fact that the show HAS been running for 30+ years means those other shows stole it from this one. Logistically, I had to pick up the tickets at will call, and when I arrived 35 minutes before show time, the line to get in was already snaking through the casino. While I panicked a little, the line moved super fast when they opened the doors. I didn't need to get into that long line. An important thing to remember, if you pick up your tickets at Will Call, you need some ID and the credit card you used to buy them. I was lucky I bought them online the night before, while I was already in Vegas, but I often use a different credit card when buying from home. So to cum up, depending on your taste, this show represents the original Cirque du Soleil concepts, and that's what you'll see.
