I am the last person to tell someone to smile. SO annoying! But, the 3 people working looked so unhappy to be there. No friendliness whatsoever. Now, I am obviously not aware of placement of individuals on the neurodivergency scale, but if one is in customer service and especially serving ice cream, some level of joyfulness might be expected. Perhaps even, dare I say, a smile when a customer makes a funny mistake. I know I said they were busy, but they didn't seem frantic or overrun in any way. It just felt a bit uncomfortable, like when you walk in on an argument and they stop because you came in. BUT, back to the ice cream. It was good.
