Date of Visit: 11/08/2025 5:30pm…read more After some shopping at the mall the wife and I were wanting to grab a beer somewhere. As we were heading out the parking I mentioned CJ's across the street. We have never been there before but friends of ours do play there once in while. So that's where we headed. As others have stated there is plenty of parking, in the main lot and in back. We parked in the main lot. Walked inside an immediately notice this was a place for music. No bands were playing since it was early. Found a spot at the bar, may have been ten others sitting at the bar. There was only one bar tender working the bar and she was working it. She came and saw us right after sitting and got our drink orders. Not sure if we wanted to eat but we still looked over the menu. We decided to get some food. I noticed they do a smashburger and I am always up for a that. The wife has been watching what she eats and decided on the chicken strips. The food didn't take long to arrive and both looked very good. My burger was done right, double cheesesmash with LTO just the way I like it. I got fries with it as well and I must say these were some mighty good fries. My wife really liked her chicken strips too. They were not battered and not overly fried, still very moist on the inside. She has been trying to stay away from overly fried foods and these were not overly done. I believe she ate them all as well. Since it was early there were no seating issues like I have read from others. And if your a car person they do a last Sunday of the month breakfast buffet and car show in the morning. Looking forward to that. All I can say is give this place a try. May have to go in the evening and listen to some live music. Peace.

Our waitress, who was friendly and clearly trying her best, appeared to be doing everything -- taking orders, serving tables, and possibly even cooking. It wasn't her fault, but it made the entire service feel slow and chaotic. Despite the place being nearly empty, it took 1 hour and 40 minutes to get our food. That kind of delay would be hard to overlook even during a rush -- let alone a slow morning. Several menu items were already "out" which was confusing and disappointing for a small menu. It felt like they were unprepared to open for the day.

The venue seems to book a few acts a week. You can go online, purchase tickets, and pick your actual seat - they sell seats by the table. We were at Table 20 for The Verve Pipe, and it was a four-top, in the 3rd row of tables, on the side, with an excellent view of the stage. Sadly, they do NOT offer their fabulous cocktails upstairs here, even though there is a bar. If you want to drink something stellar, you will need to walk yourself back down the two flights of stairs, and get it yourself. Instead, they have instructions on each table of how to order a standard cocktail on-line; you choose your basic booze, then your basic mixer, and a cocktail server will bring it out to you and take your credit card. Efficient, but very boring. The venue is small, but the sound was good, with the exception of the two magpies behind me screaming and nattering the whole time. Why go to a concert if you're just going to talk through the entire thing? But I digress.... This is a wonderful venue to go see some surprisingly good artists, and I highly recommend a visit.

Looks like a lot of parents are able to work there to help subsidize their kids activities (so many lanyards/identification tags with a specific dance studio)...great idea 5 stars *bathrooms: 5 stars: the men's bathroom gets five stars after we spent about 90 minutes, hiding from the torrential thunderstorms that delayed the concert last night. Too many stalls to count, but plenty of urinals as evidence in my photo! Pretty clean too, and not smelly lol when I did use the ladies restroom, there was an attendant keeping everything clean. *The venue itself: *Stage/ lighting/ acoustics 5/5 *seats 5/5.. absolutely love the wide space between where we actually sat in the next row. Tons of legroom, a rarity 5/5 *pre show music selection once we were allowed to go back to our seats 5/5: somebody's got an awesome sense of humor! I haven't heard Eddie Rabbitt's "I love a rainy night" since it came out in the 80s lol, "here comes the rain again", and other such selections. I know the show was definitely shorter due to the noise, curfew, etc., would definitely return here for future shows, but not during the day to be in the open sun. Looking forward to a new roof and future shows.

We had VIP EXPERIENCE tickets with meet & great/sound check tickets and PREMIER parking. We had an email from the tour organizer to be at the gate at 2:45pm. The parking staff forced us to wait 30 minutes before informing us we were at the wrong entrance! We were 10 minutes late for the sound check. After the meet & greet, we were told to wait outside for two hours until the gates opened. No shade, no chairs, no water; 100+ heat index. We went back to our car. We couldn't leave the parking lot; NO RE-ENTRY. Once the gates opened, the special VIP entrance we were promised was not opened. So we walked the quarter mile to the general entrance. We've had several VIP experiences at different venues. All have treated very well and catered to our needs. MIDFLORIDA Amphitheatre seemed to resent our presence at their facility. Between the incompetence of the parking staff, the rudeness of security, and the lack of a "VIP Experience"; we were very disappointed. A waste of time and money.

People are nice, bottle girls are great but i've gotten three sections here now and the pricing is always incredibly inconsistent. this last time i've went wasn't as good as my first two. not only was i asked to tip the check in woman when i put down a deposit for the section, i had the bottle girl tell me that what i tipped her wasn't enough which is insane at a club. so you wanted me to tip on entry fee AND what i tipped you in my section wasn't enough? mind you bottles are at least $200 and i was told there was a $350 minimum mid way thru the club. which the minimum is fine but you didn't tell me that at the door, and i would have gotten something more expensive if that was the case. and while management was her excuse that's absolutely insane to me and will probably detour me from ever spending that much money there again, if that i might not go back.

The exhibit is setup through a loading dock in the back, but it was really well done, and the setup was really appropriate for the display. If you are a Banksy fan, I recommend going before the exhibit leaves. The last day is September 27, 2026. We spent over an hour looking at the large samplings of his work. It was easy to buy tickets online and there was no issue using our QRcode to get admitted. The event was crowded but we were able to take all the time we wanted to see the exhibit and they had a nice merch selection at the end. The only thing was finding parking ahead of time. Since we went during the day, the parking for the center wasn't directly available. I ended up using the ParkWhiz app to find parking a block or two away, which worked out well. I'd definitely go to another event at this center, as it was easy to get in and out of the area and if you have more time, there are a lot of restaurants nearby and it's not far from river walk or other museum/art destinations.

The main theater is very large, and depending on where you sit, you can be quite far from the stage. Unfortunately, that can take away from the experience, especially when you're trying to watch a play or see the orchestra. Ticket prices have also increased significantly, and when you add the cost of parking at the public lot across the street, it can make for a very expensive evening. At this point, some ticket prices rival actual Broadway prices, which is pretty insane. Overall, I'd still recommend going to see a show at least once to experience the theater. It's a nice venue and there's a lot to enjoy, but I do think the rising prices and seating distance are worth considering when planning your visit.
