I had a bed delivered recently and the delivery crew broke my stair handrail. I went into the store and spoke with Manager Rod Moen. He couldn't have been less helpful. He quickly passed the buck and told me the damage is between me and a delivery company. He gave me a card with a phone number and told me work with them. He had no interest in helping me with this situation. I have no idea how he can keep a job as a store manager.

Other model "beds" were advertised at $hundreds savings. After a half hour, when we put pen to paper, we found that the "bed" pricing was not for a bed - it was for the mattress only, which also includes a pump. So the midrange queen size "bed" is $2899. But wait, if you want the complete "bed," base and mattress, add another $1899. Add another $199 for home delivery and sales tax and the total bill is just under $5100. The $5100 is for the complete bed, not just a mattress. If they are going to advertise their "bed" prices at a certain dollar figure, and that price is actually a "mattress only," the price they quote should state MATTRESS ONLY. We went into the store thinking we might be willing to pay up $3000 for a decent bed - the whole bed - but not $5000. I actually did find the Sleep Number bed to be comfortable, and they give you time to home test it, so I probably would have made the purchase while we were in the store, but I find their practice to be a bit on the side of bait and switch.

Prior to the service plan expiring, the motor died on my unit. I called customer services and have been waiting 3 months for replacement parts. First, they called telling me they gave the part to another customer. Then, I had to wait 1.5 months to be rescheduled. THEN, the only time the technicians could come to my home was when I was busy at work. Today I tried to reschedule and was told there are no techs that cover Rochester and I would have to wait for them to hire someone before my furniture could be fixed.
