It's a small place with an eat-in area and a bar - the craft cocktails were really good - I ordered a grapefruit crush and to my surprise an employee was sent off to get a grapefruit STAT - I really appreciated this bc they just as easily could have said they didn't have it. My sister asked for a MaiTai - the bartender said he was missing one ingredient but it was good and packed a PUNCH. We both ordered the Aloha Burger. I had mine with tots, my sister had onion rings. We also had the candied bacon appetizer. It was a little soft when served but given a little time to cool it crisped up and was tastier. The crispy brussels sprouts were also good, they needed a little salt and additional sauce offered would have taken it up a bit. It would make a nice date night spot, definitely more casual. The outdoor patio would be cool too, in less humid weather. We didn't see much of our server after the food arrived, but I kind of get it - it's not like you're at a Michelin star fine dining place. I also note that seating is limited so you may find yourself waiting or doing a take out order instead. Service was friendly, dining area was clean. I thought the price was a little steep for what we ordered but we did sit and eat and the food was good.

The ambiance captures the feel of a true smokehouse, and the aroma throughout the restaurant was incredibly inviting, which had me looking forward to the meal. The staff were outstanding, they were friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my visit. Their hospitality was easily the highlight of the experience. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the expectations set by the atmosphere. The brisket nachos lacked flavor, as the brisket was dry rather than tender, juicy, and well-seasoned. The cheese sauce on the nachos was also quite bland and didn't add much depth to the dish. The mac and cheese was another disappointment, with very little seasoning or cheese flavor. It had more of a stovetop-style texture and taste, whereas a richer, baked version perhaps with Gouda or a blend of flavorful cheeses, would have complemented the barbecue much better. Overall, while the excellent customer service and authentic smokehouse ambiance made for a pleasant visit, the food quality and flavor fell short of expectations. I hope the kitchen revisits some of these menu items because the restaurant has a strong foundation and plenty of potential.

If you're anywhere near Easton and craving legit BBQ, Rude BBQ absolutely delivers…read more I went with the BBQ sampler platter, which is the move if it's your first time. The brisket was tender with a solid smoke ring, the ribs had that perfect pull-off-the-bone bite, and the sausage brought the right amount of snap and seasoning. Every protein held its own -- no filler, no shortcuts. The sides were just as strong. Creamy mac & cheese, classic potato salad, and crispy onion rings that didn't feel greasy or heavy. Everything came out hot, fresh, and clearly made with intention. To top it off, I grabbed a spiked coffee, which somehow worked incredibly well with the BBQ -- bold, smooth, and a fun twist you don't see everywhere. Note: Not a lot of room to sit so don't bring a big party (6plus) to dine in.

Excellent food, both in taste and visual presentation (bravo chef, and thank you for the meet & greet). Excellent service, thank you Shawna for being so kind, explaining the menu, and making us feel warm and special. Bread/water guy (sorry didn't catch your name) was also always on it refilling water, and offering bread without being asked. Alex, also gets a shout out for the service and attention! All the variety of breads and butter (esp the ramp/onion butter) were delicious, chicken/truffle tortellini app, crab salad, lamb entree, dover sole entree, pear/yuzu dessert, strawberry cake were my favorites. Thank you also for the birthday treat :) we will be back again!

First time here, and have been so looking forward to their Mid-Summer's Evening Market Dinner!!…read more From the moment of our arrival, we were treated like welcome guests in someone 's home. Hugs for my friends who are regulars, and a warm hello and handshake for me. After a brief wait for our table of ten, we were seated graciously, and the experience began! Water, drink orders and bread were brought, I think we had at least six or so people checking in, taking orders and refreshing glasses of wine, for those who ordered the $125 wine pairings to the $145 dinner, I was driving, so I ordered two glasses of wine - $22 and $18. The amuse bouche was a tiny BLT and a small glass of clarified gazpacho- never heard of that, but the liquid was clear with tiny bits of red and green peppers and was so flavorful! The first course was yellow corn panne cotta with a smear of jumbo lump crab - oh, wow! Almost my favorite course. My favorite was rockfish ravioli in a basil and clam broth - could have eaten way more than the three of those if it was a main, but they were generously sized!!! The third course, Chicken Ballantine, Summer Vegetables, Natural Jus, was a little strange - there was a small medallion of chicken breast that was, I think, ground and under cooked - spongy, wrapped in some veg, maybe bok choy?, and then wrapped in dried-ish chicken skin. A little like a sushi presentation, but cooked. It was accented by a tiny fried piece of chicken breast. That fried bit is all I ate. Dessert was divine - a peach that was really a construction of white chocolate, sponge cake inside and peach butter - nestled on meringue and other yummy things like a tiny scoop of peach sorbet - and a companion sorbet in a fruit liquid. By that time, my taste buds were so overwhelmed by deliciousness, I had to get dessert to go (sans sorbet). I had it for breakfast- what a treat!! Overall, a wonderful experience - only a couple of odd things - since we were 10, we asked for separate checks by couples - the server grumbled and complained about something about having to override their system from the time we asked for that until the time we paid the check. A few couples had to go to the bar to pay the check, until she was able to do a work around to let the last of us pay...after waiting for some sort of fix...and more grumbling. And, while I really appreciate that they provided small stands for our purses next to our chairs, I tripped over them while using the ladies, and getting seated on return when the sweet staff ran to follow us back in the room and tried to pull our chairs for reseating. We left with a sweet basket of a little brioche bread with lovely plum jam for each of us. So special!! I can't wait to go back - maybe for lunch time. Such a memorable experience!!

Everything…read moreon the menu is familiar and elevated by the Chef and kitchen staff, which will satisfy a wide variety of palates. Why I encourage you to dine at Legal Assets is for the service. Particularly Shelby - our server for the evening. She is kind, funny, playful, knowledgeable, quirky, attentive, and conscientious. What this translates to is Shelby elevated our dining experience, and we are thankful to have crossed her path. I rarely compliment or review the front of the house. Mainly because most of them lack basic restaurant skills; food preparation knowledge; customer service; and are generally void of a personality. Restaurateurs - When your servers think a bouillabaisse is a cream soup, it's your fault - do better. So back to Shelby. Words of flattery cannot fully describe how outstanding our experience was as we were attended to through a multi-course meal. To this point, you will have to reserve a table at Legal Assets and experience for yourself. And if you are lucky, you may be sat within Shelby's section for a joyful time.
