Great breakfast find. Loved my soft shell crab Benedict. Plus our server was amazing and very patient with our group of NY/NJ women. Highly recommend

Lobster benedict - and it was delicious!

Great breakfast, mere steps from where we stayed on the island. The food was great - price was right, nice menu, food was delicious. Only issue was the service, while super friendly and apologetic, was really slow. We were promptly seated, but due to miscommunication between the team no one took care of us or got us coffee or flatware for almost ten minutes. Another couple at a table near us were seated after us, no one came over and after another ten to fifteen minutes they eventually left. When we were greeted, everything was great. And I fully understand that places are understaffed and it was the Saturday morning of Memorial Day weekend, so I am sensitive to that and forgiving. We would 100% go back and eat there again, God willing they can get their communication straight so servers know when they have tables!

Chicken n waffles with bacon gravy and scrambled eggs

I was excited to see they had chicken n waffles. The menu also started it came with eggs and bacon gravy. Normally you just smother that chicken n waffles with butter and syrup. I was confused on the gravy. More confused bacon gravy. I asked for it on the side. The waitress told me they don't like substitutions. I said it's not. I want it in the side. I have no clue what it taste like. Glad it was on the side. Some nasty stuff. The only thing good was the eggs. Which were bland. The waffle tasted like it was made the day before and then microwaved per order. The chicken strips were so breaded you couldn't taste the chicken.

The breakfast is wonderful. The green eggs Benedict is great!!! Great sauce. Perfectly cooked. The corned beef skillet was also quite good. Hearty. The portabello Benedict is also really good as is the soft crab Benedict. The place is adorable with cute vintage items to purchase. Service is great but put on your patience hat....it can get busy.

    Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich

Kelly was a great server, and the restaurant is clearly a local go-to with everyone knowing each other by name. Makes it feel that much better going and supporting! My wife had the good morning platter which was your standard breakfast platter. The highlight was the Ultimate Breakfast Sandwich. I had to split it in two! Ham, bacon, cheese, 2 eggs, and hash browns sandwiched between two tasty pieces of French toast. So good. So worth it. Great vacation food. Definitely couldn't do much after eating it though! Haha. Good food comas are the best.

Went on a trip for lady and the owner of our inn recommending this outstanding place for breakfast. The staff was warm and friendly, and the food exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be back. The fried chicken Benedict was absolutely amazing. Out of 1 to 5, I give them a 6!!

Crabby eggs Benedict & Omelette, amazing!

Coffee!!!! Endless cup of Joe!!! The dark substance that provides life to most of the living world!

Food was great, staff was friendly and fun. Restaurant is small & cozy. Loved the coffee cup!

I was here last weekend twice for breakfast. Funky back to the past style decor. Looked dated back to the 60/70's. Excellent breakfast. Nice people. I liked the java and the vibe. Hash browns from scratch, perfect omelete. Good price/value for breakfast. I checked out the dinner menu and found some interesting entrees that I will try next time. Might get to four stars. Located on Tilghman Island, Eastern Shore of Maryland, approximately 1:20 minutes from Annapolis.

A real Jewel of the Sea.
    Kevin R.

I happened upon this Jewel of the Sea in Tilghman Island. The Cafe is tastefully decorated and the Wait staff were friendly, attentive and personal. I ordered the Crab, Cheese and Asparagus Omelet. Rarely in my life have I ever had a more perfect Omelet. Only one word could describe it, that would be Sublime. The combination of fluffy eggs, aldente Asparagus, Local Asparagus and Cheese was to die for. The Redskin Potato Home-fries were an excellent accompaniment. Well worth the Detour from St. Michaels.

Chorizo Cheddar Omlette and Peach Bellini. Perfect!

It's worth driving to enjoy the best eggs benedict ever. With the friendliest wait staff and funky decor. One of a kind.

I got the Beyond burger and let me tell you... IT WAS HUGE! So fresh with all the toppings and be prepared it takes a while to make but worth every minute of wait (to the point I thought mine wasn't being made LOL). I got mine with onion rings and let me say i can't wait to get those again! I also added the dipping sauce to try since why not?! My family got the BLT, steak && cheese sub, and shrimp basket. Everyone CRUSHED! They don't skimp on the fries w each meal either. You are going to be full. Cute 'I Love Lucy' themed spot with the can in the parking lot. I wish i could special request tuna because i know it'd be amazing! THANK YOU NYID

The Castellano had a crisped pile of gorgeous beef, with crispy fries, and super fresh veggies (basically a cheeseburger on a sub). My husband ordered this one, so I didn't taste it personally but he absolutely LOVED it. The Thommy, The Three Fingers is a chopped cheese. It's, by god, the best I've ever had in my life. I add peppers, provolone and mayo and an extra side of tzatziki (labeled garlic cucumber on the menu), and oil and vinegar (which tastes like Italian dressing, but who's counting?). The bread is phenomenal. I may literally just order a sub roll with no ingredients one day, just so I can eat it toasted with butter, with every meal I have. It's soft and fluffy, crispy and chewy all at the same time. (It almost gives bagel, but not tough). I also got the y cheesecake. Not as special, perhaps from the Cysco truck (iykyk), but I still bought it and scarfed it down. Strawberry topping was def the average canned-strawberry topping (but I personally love that). I cannot stress, the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! As for service, the entire team is so friendly and helpful. They kid around, make silly jokes and make sure your order is prepared fresh and fast. It isn't "fast food fast", but also doesn't taste like shit either, so the wait is worth it. At most 10-15 min if you don't call ahead. As for seating, in winter there are only two two-tops so seating is extremely limited. It is mostly a deli-and-get-outta-here kind of place, but nonetheless welcoming and charming. They have tons of Italian memorabilia all over the walls including giant GodFather posters, taxi plates and more. Today was my first time inside, but I've had my husband go pick up food several times on the way home. I cannot live without one of these subs AT MINIMUM once a month.

The bathrooms look to have been re-done and were clean. The AC unit worked great. I never got an e-mail confirmation or a fishing trip confirmation but everything was in order when we got there. The room itself was tiny, but since you're right on the bay, I don't think having a big room is that necessary bc you only need it to sleep. The carpet in the room felt nice and I didn't feel like I had to walk around in flip flops. They say all rooms have hair dryers, but ours did not. And when I went to ask for one they had 1 extra they gave me. The maid didn't replace our bar soap, but did clean the room up well. The hotel is old school, so they actually give you 2 room keys and not an electronic card. We watched the sun rise and sun set every day we were there. Even though we didn't have a water front room, our room was 20 feet away from the wrap around patio, which was right on the bay. It was so relaxing. We went to the seafood buffet one night for dinner. I highly recommend the crab imperial and the prime rib. The mac and cheese is good too. The rest of the stuff on the buffet was ok. Probably would not pay $35 again for it though. The service was good. I'd say the highlight of the trip was going fishing. I believe there are 3-4 different packages you can get. Packages include a pre-packed lunch and breakfast. We chose to bring our own cooler or food and drinks so we only paid $150 each. I think if you want food included it's like $180. We were on the boat, Working Girl, with Captain Shannon and First Mate Alan. They were the nicest guys. Alan is hilarious and Captain Shannon was patient with first time fishers and so nice. You can tell they both love what they do. There were 6 of us on the boat, plus the Captain and Alan. There was plenty of space for each one of us to sit somewhere. It was a good group of people too, so that helped. We took off around 5:45/6am. It's nice that you don't have to drive anywhere to get to the dock because the dock is in the backyard of the hotel! We arrived back around 2pm with 12 Rockfish. 2 per person. We cooked the fish last night and it was so fresh! We are planning to go back and take another fishing trip with some family and will definitely be requesting Captain Shannon and Alan. I posted the photo of the sunrise and the bucket of fish.

We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately, which set the tone for a relaxed and welcoming evening. Unfortunately, it was lack luster; more shell than crab and mostly devoid of flavor. The truffle fries were delicious and it was fun to sit at the bar and watch the kitchen action. Our waiter was attentive but when the bill arrived we had been charged for drinks we didn't order.
