I absolutely loved this place for our daughter's 2nd birthday. They have amazing packages for all different prices. The staff was amazing, Two young ladies, unfortunately I did not get their names, they made sure everything was above & beyond. They were also very efficient. They set everything up so perfectly, as we chose the all inclusive package. The ambiance of everything was beyond perfection. I couldn't ask for anymore, I was absolutely speechless from the performance. If you have a little one, this is definitely worth it. All children had so much fun, including the older children who attended and adults as they got the time to relax! Thank you so much Mad Hatter Play Cafe! We absolutely Love, Love, Love the Mad Hatter Play Cafe and are so excited to have it open and running here in Centralia! Locally owned and operated, this gem of a place is just what it says it is ... a large play space for kids! And by large, I mean Large! Inside they've got tons of things for your young kids to do. Here are just some of the things that are there: - Toys galore and plastic balls in a small ball pit. - Wooden train track set - Simulation/Play sets of various locations (fire station, grocery store, ice cream shop, house, school, etc.) - Small trampoline - Climbing toys - Cars, trucks, push toys, and so much more Like the name says, there's also a cafe there so adults can order a coffee beverage to enjoy while the kiddos are playing. They also have a small selection of snack-type foods too (granola bars, energy bars, chips, etc.). It's a shoes off place, so you'll want to make sure the kids are wearing grippy socks so they don't slip on the floors. Additionally, they offer a membership rate which is totally worth it (allowing unlimited playtime and perks to sing up for events that they're hosting). It pretty much pays for itself if you go twice a month, or so. The owner is extremely kind and friendly and understands the importance of free play for the kids - illustrated perfectly with the welcoming and fun environment that she's created! Not only do they have delicious coffee and plenty of snacks to choose from, but they provide a safe place for socialization and play for children up to age 7. I've been a loyal patron for about 3 years, and just when I think it couldn't have gotten better, they truly outdid themselves with the beauty and ambiance of their new location. The owner, Lisa, is one of the kindest souls and her childlike joy and wonder is evident in every corner of Mad Hatter. If you're a working parent like I am, they offer a wonderful opportunity to let your children have supervised play with other children while you work, as the seating area has a full view of the play floor. They even offer a new craft space upstairs for older children for a small fee. My son spent the entire day yesterday crafting with other children, only breaking away to eat! We have also had a birthday party here and it was a blast! This cafe is a gem to our community and I cannot recommend it enough. read more

I absolutely will not be back after the business switched to the new location. Immediately when arriving I knew it was going to be bad because there is nothing but street parking. It is one of the busiest roadways and you have to park on the street while traffic goes by getting kids out of the car. Then you go upstairs to the cafe which is basically an old outdated bar. It had a very dirty feel to it. The play area is 1/4 size of the last location. The room echoes so it is extremely loud and crammed full of toys and children. There's no space for them to run around, it actually is crammed because they brought over far too many toys for how small the space is. The location just feels cheap and dirty compared to the last location. And lastly, the diaper changing area is out in the open completely for everyone to see. I find that extremely disrespectful to babies and disgusting. It was not a relaxing or calming environment at all. read more

I highly recommend this place whether you're doing just a play date or if you're needing a place to host a party. I did my son's first birthday here with one of their party packages and anyone that's ever planned a kids birthday party knows how stressful it can be, but this was the least stressful birthday I have planned! they helped with setting up and clean up and even the stuff that I forgot they were able to help out with! All the kids had an absolute blast and this mama was able to actually visit with guest and enjoy playing with my kids instead of stressing. Fun, clean indoor play area for kids. Great coffee selection that is lower than mainstream shops. I can take a moment and let my kid play and see them through out the shop. I cannot rave about this place enough. So kind, so friendly, so cool and clean!! The drinks were delicious and a good price, my son had a blast non stop for 2 hours. I love that you can sit outside the play area and relax knowing you can see your kid, but also feel welcomed to go in and play with them. I forgot to leave a review when I took my daughter here about a month or two ago. This place is absolutely great! The owner I forget her name but I enjoyed the conversations we had. She was absolutely sweet and I will definitely be taking my daughter back there. First off I love that along the walls there's buckets for dirty toys. And I love that there is a 2 and under section. Not only that but if you want to sit and watch your kid while you drink your coffee the walls that separate the play area from the seating look to be made of some fun big legos. Since snacks and beverages are not allowed in the play area the short walls allow for being able to see your children as they play. This would also be the perfect place for parents to get together while their kiddos all play and have fun. If I could give this place a 10 star review there would be 10 stars up there read more

This is a great little spot to take the kids on a rainy day. Lots of imaginative play spaces, fire house, doctors office, school house, grocery store, ice cream parlor.
