I'll be back, but not for what you'd think. I bought a snickerdoodle, chocolate chip cookie, strawberry cream cupcake, chocolate salted caramel cupcake, original cinnamon roll, and maple bacon cinnamon roll. My husband, who's weakness is cinnamon rolls, didn't finish his. I took one bite. (Original) I found the dough to be lacking salt, dry, and the icing bland but overly sweet if you could ever have such a thing. I am eating the maple one now and am relieved to tell you it's much better. The frosting is more flavorful and is more of a maple buttercream rather than thick icing like the original. The dough has more flavor than the original but I'm sure that's because of the bacon they use in it. They're both huge, and should be at around $5/ea. -not anything I could finish alone. If this place were only serving cinnamon rolls, I don't know how they'd do. Thankfully, there's more! The cupcakes were good- sponge was dry, but the frosting divine! Couldn't taste any salt in the salted caramel. Snickerdoodle was good, soft, plenty of cinnamon and sugar- buttery taste. Here's what I'll be back for: trying new things, and getting that chocolate chip cookie again since my kids devoured the whole thing without me getting more than a tiny bite. It was better than my own homemade chocolate chip cookies, and for me to say that, it's big. Speaking of big- the cookies are huge. Shop is cute- there's extra stuff to buy like shirts and hats and mugs...they have a few tables to sit down and eat. I saw they're also serving biscuits and gravy. If you can catch them when they're open, try them! I'm assuming the older lady there is the owner- super sweet and wants to make sure you are pleased with your order! I found this shop just by googling desserts in my area, because I was taking dessert to a friends as my dinner contribution and I'm brand new to the area. I bought six cinnamon rolls and it seemed so excessive because they're so huge. But they made a statement and everyone loved them! I also bought one each of the Macaroons (spelled that wrong but I hope you know what I mean). Those were so delicious and the kids loved them. When first opened the rolls were delicious. Too much frosting for me, but my husband loved it. The quiche was good. Haven't tried lately because the cinnamon rolls have been hard as a rock. This place is in the same complex as a marijuana store. Turn right, Cinnagirls; turn left, pot. No special ambiance there. Service? You stand and order, they get your food. They had 2 frosting flavors to choose from - Royal icing (I think?) or buttercream. I tried the buttercream but it was sweeter than I'd prefer. I was hoping it would be a cream cheese type but it was just sugary. The roll itself was just okay too, outer circle was maybe a little over baked. If you're looking for very tasty cinnamon rolls and giant cookies, this is the place! I like that they rotate the flavors of their cinnamon buns (regular, pumpkin, bacon, etc). Soft, squishy, and if you go there early enough, warm. I just discovered their giant cookies and I am so so happy. I got a giant chocolate chip cookie after a not-so-fun doctor's appointment and it definitely lifted my spirits. It's way bigger than the spread of my hands. Yum yum yum. They also had a couple other flavors, like giant monster cookie which was peanut butter, oatmeal, chocolate chip, and m&ms. The service is always very kind too. The one thing that isn't great about them is their french macarons. I think they get them from someone else but I found multiple flavors of them to be on the stale side with weird after tastes. I tend to order macarons when I go to bakeries, so I'd like to think I got a handle on what's good/not good. I haven't tried their scones or homemade poptarts yet but they look really good! Wow - this bakery was such a surprise gem for me to find in Lacey! I was debating on where to go to cure my sweet tooth one day and I finally settled on trying this place out once I realized they offer more than just cinnamon rolls. Upon arrival the employees up front are so kind and welcoming - seriously one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. After they went through all they baked that day that was up for grabs I decided on a regular cinnamon roll, macarons, red velvet cupcake, chocolate chip cookie and snickerdoodle cookie. My favorite out of everything surprisingly was both cookies. Whatever recipe you are using for these cookies - please never change because it was one of the best cookies I've ever had. The cinnamon roll is next of course because it was simply delicious. The other goodies I got were great as well, but the cinnamon roll and cookies definitely stood out for their overall amazing taste. Today they were out of the gluten-free/vegan so I ordered the pumpkin and decided to just deal with the upset stomach, it was totally worth it and I will definitely be back for more. I waited to try this place because sugar is my Achilles heel to healthy eating. I also walked into the bakery when I was feeling very hungry. Not the best strategy for someone who never met a pastry or baked good she didn't love. Fortunately, they have a simple but adequate menu. I didn't order one of everything, but I did get the cinnamon roll that was calling my name. It sat there in its soft, fluffy state, filled with just the right amount of sweet, cinammony filling and slathered with creamy vanilla frosting. I'm also a sucker for cupcakes and the ones on display looked luscious! I ended up choosing the salted caramel - one in vanilla and the other in chocolate. Feeling a bit guilty over my sugar indulgence, I looked for some protein and saw the quiche - filled with eggs, bacon and melted cheddar cheese. I lugged my ample bag of goodies to the car and my hubby's eyes got quite large as he said, "hungry much?!" We took it home, heated and shared the quiche - most definitely the best I've ever tasted! The quiche gave us each a generous serving of its incredibly flaky, delicious crust. It was so light, eggy and cheesy! We decided it will definitely find a spot in our dinner menu rotation, paired with a salad and glass of Chardonnay. The cinnamon roll was perfect - the dough was perfectly cooked, moist but not undercooked. The ratio of dough to cinnamon filling was perfect and the frosting was the crowning touch. My friends and I were disappointed to see the gentleman behind the counter (a co-owner?) pull down his mask at the register to talk with a customer who was paying not more than a few feet from him. This bakery is absolutely delicious! That's all you need to know! My wife and I went in one day because I'd been craving something sweet. My wife got the original cinnamon roll. It's super delicious and the icing is *chefs kiss* I wish I could buy a tub . I had the homemade raspberry pop tart which could put pop tarts out of business. I didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised at how flakey and delicious the pastry was. Aside from the amazing baked goods the service was amazing. The cinnamon rolls are some of the best I have ordered. Dough was a nice light texture, rolled fairy thin with a good proportion and amounts of cinnamon and sugar. You have a choice of frosting, none, or custom amount. That is great service. The savory scone was a nice, light consistency, large and good flavors. The owner and her son visited with us about the business. She offered us a sample of their biscuits and gravy they are going to offer on weekends. I don't usually indulge but the sample was awesome! I had one of their pumpkin pecan cinnamon rolls and it was amazing! Most pumpkin flavored things are just over the top with the pumpkin flavor but these cinnamon rolls are just perfect, any time of year. Super cute aesthetically pleasing store with cookies as big as your face! I tried the monster cookie and chocolate chip and they both didn't disappoint, they were nice and chewy but didn't fall apart. I also tried the cinnamon roll and the berry scone, which were both delicious! The cinnamon roll was comparable to Cinnabon and the berry scone was so yummy with the perfect amount of sweetness.
