Strawberry cream and chocolate salted caramel cupcake
    Danielle V.

I'll be back, but not for what you'd think. I bought a snickerdoodle, chocolate chip cookie, strawberry cream cupcake, chocolate salted caramel cupcake, original cinnamon roll, and maple bacon cinnamon roll. My husband, who's weakness is cinnamon rolls, didn't finish his. I took one bite. (Original) I found the dough to be lacking salt, dry, and the icing bland but overly sweet if you could ever have such a thing. I am eating the maple one now and am relieved to tell you it's much better. The frosting is more flavorful and is more of a maple buttercream rather than thick icing like the original. The dough has more flavor than the original but I'm sure that's because of the bacon they use in it. They're both huge, and should be at around $5/ea. -not anything I could finish alone. If this place were only serving cinnamon rolls, I don't know how they'd do. Thankfully, there's more! The cupcakes were good- sponge was dry, but the frosting divine! Couldn't taste any salt in the salted caramel. Snickerdoodle was good, soft, plenty of cinnamon and sugar- buttery taste. Here's what I'll be back for: trying new things, and getting that chocolate chip cookie again since my kids devoured the whole thing without me getting more than a tiny bite. It was better than my own homemade chocolate chip cookies, and for me to say that, it's big. Speaking of big- the cookies are huge. Shop is cute- there's extra stuff to buy like shirts and hats and mugs...they have a few tables to sit down and eat. I saw they're also serving biscuits and gravy. If you can catch them when they're open, try them! I'm assuming the older lady there is the owner- super sweet and wants to make sure you are pleased with your order! Great service, but need to up their cinnamon roll game since it is called cinn a girls after all. (Ps- was glad to see this was family friendly... could be misconstrued as sin a girls around here!

Snickerdoodle 4.5/5 overall. Texture 5/5. Size and value 4/5. Flavor 5/5. Huge cookie with excellent texture, firm outside with a soft chewy inside! Good snickerdoodle flavor. Cinnamon Roll 4.5/5 overall. Icing 5/5. Size and value 4/5. Flavor 5/5. Silky sweet frosting that melts in your mouth, then the classic cinnamon roll flavor comes through... to bliss. Excellent!

Wow - this bakery was such a surprise gem for me to find in Lacey! I was debating on where to go to cure my sweet tooth one day and I finally settled on trying this place out once I realized they offer more than just cinnamon rolls. Upon arrival the employees up front are so kind and welcoming - seriously one of the best customer service experiences I've had in a long time. After they went through all they baked that day that was up for grabs I decided on a regular cinnamon roll, macarons, red velvet cupcake, chocolate chip cookie and snickerdoodle cookie. My favorite out of everything surprisingly was both cookies. Whatever recipe you are using for these cookies - please never change because it was one of the best cookies I've ever had. The cinnamon roll is next of course because it was simply delicious. The other goodies I got were great as well, but the cinnamon roll and cookies definitely stood out for their overall amazing taste. Also, I found out while there that this business is family owned so I was happy to support that unknowingly too. I will return to try more!

They make the Best Gluten free cinnamon rolls hands down.. Today they were out of the gluten-free/vegan so I ordered the pumpkin and decided to just deal with the upset stomach, it was totally worth it and I will definitely be back for more. My husband got the classic and devoured it. They are very large and the pumpkin was not over powering at all( very subtle flavor). we could only eat half because they were so filling. I love that this is a family run business and are super personable and welcoming

Update...have you ever been to heaven? Well, if you haven't you need to try their berry and white chocolate scones! Im not kidding.... life changing. I also tried their Italian sodas... with red bull... a nice pick me up in the afternoon.

Bacon-cheddar quiche. This crust?! Wow - so dang good!!

I waited to try this place because sugar is my Achilles heel to healthy eating. I also walked into the bakery when I was feeling very hungry. Not the best strategy for someone who never met a pastry or baked good she didn't love. Fortunately, they have a simple but adequate menu. I didn't order one of everything, but I did get the cinnamon roll that was calling my name. It sat there in its soft, fluffy state, filled with just the right amount of sweet, cinammony filling and slathered with creamy vanilla frosting. I'm also a sucker for cupcakes and the ones on display looked luscious! I ended up choosing the salted caramel - one in vanilla and the other in chocolate. Feeling a bit guilty over my sugar indulgence, I looked for some protein and saw the quiche - filled with eggs, bacon and melted cheddar cheese. I lugged my ample bag of goodies to the car and my hubby's eyes got quite large as he said, "hungry much?!" We took it home, heated and shared the quiche - most definitely the best I've ever tasted! The quiche gave us each a generous serving of its incredibly flaky, delicious crust. It was so light, eggy and cheesy! We decided it will definitely find a spot in our dinner menu rotation, paired with a salad and glass of Chardonnay. The cinnamon roll was perfect - the dough was perfectly cooked, moist but not undercooked. The ratio of dough to cinnamon filling was perfect and the frosting was the crowning touch. The cupcakes remain to be eaten - probably for dinner - tomorrow! I need to be sure I plan my driving route to not swing past here too often!

You gotta get one! Classic roll.

Both were bland tasting. The hot honey sauce didn't taste like hot honey at all (more like Frank's sauce). The coleslaw didn't go with the rest of the dish at all. It just wasn't the right combination. We also waited a while for our order (approx. 20 mins). Not sure what the hold up was despite the place being empty when we dined in. The server was nice, though, and there is plenty of space for large groups. Outdoor seating available too. Overall, I likely won't be back.

I was starving and looking for something I could eat on the go, being a vegetarian seriously limits my options there, so I decided to be brave and try this spot since it was close to where I was. So glad I did!! It's a funky spot, lots of seating, super friendly staff, very clean. Bonus. They told me to expect 20 minutes for my sandwich but it was ready in under ten minutes, double bonus! The sandwich. Omg. Slightly ground and blackened chickpeas, super fresh arugula, super fresh tomato, an amazing sauce served on the softest ciabatta bread I've ever had. It was amazing - absolute perfection. And it was all wrapped up nice and neat for easy, on the road eating. Served with a bottle of water and bag of Tim's chips. This all made me very happy - give them a shot for sure if you're in the area.

We were greeted by a friendly, upbeat team member from behind the front counter and she was eager and ready to help take our order. We decided to try out the new sauced chicken strips. We got the Parmesan and Honey Bbq and substituted some onion rings for the fries with one of them. The food came out so fast, we hadn't even chosen a table to sit at after filling our drinks, and the team member was already headed towards us with our tray of food! I was a little concerned at first, thinking our food was going to be cold or taste old, but I was wrong. Everything was hot and fresh and fries and onion rings were nice and crispy. Both flavors of the chicken strips were pretty good. I preferred the Parmesan ones, because the sauce was spot on as far as being very cheesy and Parmesan flavored. It had a nice thick creamy sauce and honestly thought the sauce would have been great on some pasta. Almost like a Parmesan Alfredo! The honey bbq was ok. I wasn't a fan of the flavoring. It was just a little too tangy for me. The toasts weren't really necessary, IMO, and were kind of just in the way like some kind of giant butter drenched triangular shaped croutons. Overall, a nice stop for some lunch or dessert, where you'll surely be served swiftly and with a smile! Also fyi, restrooms require a code. Just ask a team member for that.

To my surprise, it tasted like rotten sparkling water. I guess just like you guys can't give me a bigger chicken strip you also can't give me an actual Dr Pepper. Once again, absolutely incredibly unbelievable, such a letdown. I will not be coming again.
