Guillermo was incredibly communicative when I requested a quote, answered all follow-up questions I had promptly, and offered a very reasonable price for the entire repair, especially considering I'd also asked to additionally have its battery replaced (and checked that a waterproof seal would be installed). He explained my options thoroughly and was very honest with me re: the options I had (he offers both OEM and aftermarket repairs). Throughout the whole process, he communicated immediately with me regarding the delivery status of the parts, the repair itself, and finally how long they would remain open for me to pick up my phone. To top it off, the price was the best across six separate repair shops I had asked. He also installed a new screen protector for me, and did not charge anything for it. It's been a little over a week since my phone was repaired and it's been working like new. Consider coming to this shop if you've ever been worried about a job done too hastily -- he'll tell you what choices you have and let you make your own decision.

I texted him informing him it still wasn't holding charge and he offered to take the device for a few days, but by then I no longer felt comfortable handing it over, as if all felt shady. The whole process felt unprofessional from start to finish. And to top it off, I was charged $103 for a repair that clearly wasn't completed. Make sure to pay with a credit card to be able to dispute if services aren't rendered. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle, go somewhere else. If you want to get scammed go here.

Today, my phone lightly slid across my keyboard and the screen immediately started going haywire with red and green lines before turning completely black. I took it to another repair shop right after, and they told me the screen from the previous repair was a cheap, low-quality part. According to them, when my computer slid across the keyboard it somehow activated an accessibility setting, and the replacement screen couldn't handle it and basically fried. Now I'm stuck paying for another screen replacement only a few months after already spending $350. For that price, I expected quality parts and a repair that would actually last. Instead, I'm dealing with another broken screen and another repair bill because of the cheap product they used. I would not recommend iRepair in La Verne based on my experience.

I can not write a high enough review for Joe! We were out of town at a wedding and my screen went out, all of my photos had not backed up to the cloud. Could not access anything. Had to just buy a new phone while being gone. When I got home I started doing the research to have the screen fixed on my old one so I could get my photos back of our friends wedding. Joe was reasonable, fast and professional! Came to my office repaired my screen and within 30 mins I was able to get all of my pics back and on the cloud and onto my computer!!! I have a house full of boys so, needless to say, our electronics definitely encounter their share of rough play. Our iPad was completely cracked and we were unable to use it. I didn't have insurance to get it fixed. I called Mad ScienTech and he responded very quickly. He was very careful while he worked on fixing the device. I never realized all the attention that goes into fixing an electronic device but just watching him take it apart piece by piece was very nerve wrecking for me. As for Joseph, Mad ScienTech, he was extremely patient and really paid attention to every small detail to ensure everything was completed with the best of care. He's communicative, polite, and wants to help you out. He's done all my screen repairs. He's fixed a couple Samsung Galaxy phones and IPhone's. He's also fixed my friend's laptop and another friends iPhone watch. I also recommend him to others. My phone was shattered front and back, pieces of glass were coming off from the back and I didn't think my phone was really going to be able to be fixed it was even a little bit bent. But Joe was really cool and straightforward with me, he was breaking down what he'd needed to do in order to fix the phone, gave me all my options and his opinion and what he thought was really best from a financial perspective as well. Great and prompt service. I was trying to get in with someone else and they blew me off because I wasn't quick enough to set a time. The new glass was already cracked when I got home, and the finishing around the camera was clearly damaged. When I returned to the shop, the technician refused to fix the issue or take responsibility. Once they get your money, they don't care about the quality of their work.
