We *just* got home from having some of the best ice cream, frozen yogurt, and sorbet we've ever had. There were 4 of us (ages 43, 38, 10, and 6) with varying issues (dairy-free, egg-free) and amazingly, we were able to find ice cream, frozen yogurt, or sorbet that met our needs! The place was PACKED, and it was opening day (March 12). The atmosphere was friendly, and we ran into two sets of classmates from our kids' school. I would highly, HIGHLY recommend Mad Willie's to anyone who wants great service, large portions at a very fair price, and a really cool, fun atmosphere. We have found our ice cream store and will be there all season! It helps that we live within walking distance, too! read more

The ice cream is Richardsons, not "home-made" by the staff of Mad Willie's. A friend raved about the place and we went and It was OK. The dining area was dirty. The service was good but I really don't understand why a tip jar needs to be out when the OWNERS are working. read more

My family and I love this place , we go there at least 3 x a month , the owner is very nice and friendly and the scoops are huge.

Mr Patel was great to work with. He made a wonderful ice cream cake for my wife's birthday. The 10" cake can feed an army of adults. The ice cream was tasty, the add-ins were tasty. Overall we were pleasantly suprised on how good the cake turned out. I can't wait to bring the kids to this fine establishment. read more

Awesome ice cream (our favorite is cake batter), awesome fro yo (thousands of combinations), and even their sugar free is delish! Service is perfection. Quick and always friendly. We ordered my son's b-day cake here and it was the best! Real cake with any ice cream of your choosing and adorable decoration. Nothing fancy; just amazingly yummy. We come here all of the time in the summer...just wish they stayed open in the winter time for my birthday! :-( P.S. I love Mad Willies. They have an amazing selection with great prices. I have had both the ice cream as well as the Frozen Yogurt. My go to is the vanilla frozen yogurt with peanut butter cups and jimmies. I love it! read more

I do not know how it has the positive revies it does. The day I went in it was dirty. The service was slow and the product ( a sundae) was marginal. The fudge was bland and overall it was a bad experience. Its Ben and Jerrys down the road by the mall for me. read more

Mad Willie's is an adorable little shop where all my secret ice cream fantasies come true! Sunil Patel, the owner, is very friendly and truly cares about making his customers happy. For yogurt, you choose vanilla or chocolate and then mix in flavors to create your own soft serve. YUM. For ice cream, there are many great flavors to choose from. I truly loved Mad Willie's and can't wait to go back with my sister when I visit Framingham. (She is a regular customer!) read more

6/4/12 I bought two small lobster rolls today and when I got home and looked at them, and was curious as to why they were so small and seasoned unlike the ones that I had always bought and loved for years. I wondered if maybe they had sold the place or what happened, as there were different people servicing, and I went on line to check. My kids ask to go to Mad Willie's every time we go out for ice cream. There are so many options for frozen treats and toppings that you can't go wrong and you can make it exactly the way that you want it. They have picnic tables outside to enjoy or it is a short walk to and from the Framingham Common to enjoy some time with family or friends in a game of frisbee or soccer before or after your ice cream treat. My daughter wanted to go to spend time on the common with her friends after school ended last week and since it was so close, they were able to walk up and around the corner to get some of the best ice cream in the area. They were also incredibly generous in their donation of ice cream to support an event for a local school. We will continue to frequent and support this local business! read more

hold the roach please.for my first time here i hated it at the end of my ice cream i found a roach in my ice cream. im very pissed off the owner grabbed the cut from me once he realized what i was saying and trashed everything i will never return and i advice everyone to stop going to the route 9 framingham location.i will never go back and i hope folks with children don't. it's shocking to know that it was the manager who took my order and tried making me feel like i didn't see and have a roach in my mouth. if i could add this review with out a rating i would. but i rate zero read more
