Wow it was amazing just the perfect blend of curry, coconut milk and lemon grass and just the right amount of heat. Portion was huge so brought dome home. Hubby had the P26 Gang Pa with pork because it was in season. It said the heat was 4 peppers and it lived up to its name, good and spicy. The pork was tender and veggies were sufficient. Madams Mams Improved throughout the years I'm very pleased to make another round here and write a positive review I was seated at a place that is very comfortable like booths with pillows which was very comfortable I love it. I ordered the saku which is the house saku. The flavor was amazing this is my very favorite one is the house saku of all the sakis I've had. Here is where I have to write a very positive review regarding the flavor of the Thai beef soup it is very flavorful it has the taste of foe of quality this is what I love about this dish. It was served very nice and hot vegetables on top which are a little small pieces of onion and parsley. I ordered the spring rolls not so much my favorite but yet I do love them with the sauce sauce was perfect for the dip. If only it was a little bit less spicy I would have been happy. The staff was friendly nice attentive I couldn't be happier on that spectrum. Table was a little sticky but yet was wiped down and that's the only negative I would say but other than that the food was 5 stars all through and through. When we arrived in Austin, I was craving Thai food and this spot was recommended. We got there about an hour before closing and decided to give it a try. The inside was clean and really stylish and honestly didn't feel like we were in Austin at all. The service was great. I ordered the Panang curry and it was really good. The spice level was perfect since they added more coconut milk to balance it out, but if you love spicy food, this is still a great option. The Panang was delicious and I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it. This is a nice spot for date night or family dinners. The bar area was nice, and there was plenty of seating inside, which I appreciated. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the Bee Cave area. read more

Stopped here for lunch on a quick road trip after reading reviews. They do have a really good lunch special and the dining room is very spaced out and clean. The staff are all super friendly and attentive. We both ordered the lunch special which comes with an egg roll, tea, a cup of soup, and an entree. If you get a soda it does not come with a refill. The egg roll was yummy but the soup was hardly edible. It was super sour and the bok choy tasted and looked old. The wings were spot on, hot, fresh, and the sauce was amazing! My entree was good, the glass noodles were a bit difficult to chew, not sure why. My husband got the pad Thai and he said it lacked flavor. He ended up taking all the sauce from the wings and pouring it on his food to make it better. Regardless of the issues, all the food came out very hot and fresh. read more

First time in and came on a recommendation from family. It was okay. Flavors were missing some layers. For instance I had Pad Kee Mow (Drunken Noodles) but it did not have peppers and onions in it like (in my opinion) it normally does at my home Thai restaurant. It was just noodles, sauce, chicken, basil leaves (and I mean a ton of whole Thai basil leaves). Spice level was good but also sort of lemony sweet. Different. Service was excellent. I had the pad thai once at the location near UT and thought it was a mushy mess so it took me a long time to try MM again. And I avoid now the pad thai, but every other dish I've here has been delicious! Looking through the reviews here, lots of the low ones seem to be about service or takeout. I haven't experienced bad service personally. My go to is the Khao soi noodles. This bowl is MASSIVE and the soup is thick and super flavorful. It's really really really good, trust me on this one. Of course much more expensive than the bowl I had in Chiang Mai, but man I'm happy with this dish here. I always have lots of leftover soup to take home and give it a second life. The Tom kha gai is also very flavorful. It is the perfect appetite-opener to me. And their curries are great too. My only complaint about their curries is while the meat chunks are good, I wish there were more other vegetables. For my partner who is a total carnivore, he doesn't mind this. But I want more of a balance of meat and veg in my curries. The nuer ob is pretty good - lots of tender beef chunks in a very tasty gravy made of onion, tomato, soy sauce and I'm not sure what else. This to me is similar to a Chinese braise. The crying tiger beef (sorry I don't have a picture) is also a winner. Good quality beef, and gotta love the dipping sauce. Overall average and not a place I would go to regularly. This is our second time going and I'm not sure we would go back. It's a large restaurant and both times, we didn't have a problem getting a table when we just walked in. The menu is full of the typical dishes you would expect from a Thai restaurant. We started off with some fresh spring rolls; we had an order of shrimp and one order with tofu. The tofu wasn't fried and while the are fresh, they are lacking of any cabbage, there was the slightest hint of mint, no cilantro and just a sliver of carrot. And the peanut sauce was nothing to rave about. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and I can just say what I received looked absolutely nothing like the photo in the menu. It made me wonder if the photo they use in their menu is taken from some other restaurant. The menu advertises noodles with egg, bean sprouts and broccoli or Bok Choy. So, mine came with noodles and the meat. There was absolutely no bean sprouts or broccoli (or Bok Choy). The photo in the menu shows a heap of bean sprouts to the side of the Pad Thai and the Pad Thai was topped with broccoli. I just received noodles that were drowned in sauce. The chicken in the Pad Thai was fine but overall, not as advertised and not what I would expect of Pad Thai (if you are familiar with this dish). The service is less than expected. They are very nice... but you can sit there for a long time before someone will come to your table sometimes. We had finished our meals; there was even a person who came and cleared our table but it seemed to take a long time to flag someone down to get our bill. F12 Guay Teaw Nuer Sub is one of my favorite dishes--a flat noodle stir-fry with sliced beef, fish sauce, soy sauce, and oyster sauce. I was really disappointed this time. I paid an extra $4 for beef (total $18), but it came with ground beef instead of sliced beef, and the flavor had changed to yellow curry. The dish was totally different and it costs more. read more

Quick service and good vibes. Green curry and midnight kiss wings is my go to order and once I got it I haven't strayed. Green curry is my order at pretty much all Thai spots. The gauge of decency. Always legit here and you can change spice levels. I like my food spicy so go with 2 or 3 and I also get their delicious chili oil on the side. I wouldn't typically order wings but my friend got them once and they've got a fun sweet and spicy flavor with the midnight kiss. I live close to the Madam Mam's location on Slaughter, and not a fan of it because the food there is on the sweeter side. Usually I just go to SAPs instead. Today, I was hesitant to try this Madam Mam's location in the Hill Country Galleria but I was surprised that my to go food tasted great and not so sweet. This is one of my favorite Thai places in the area. Their food is really good. They give pretty big portions. I usually get the shrimp and chicken Pad Thai noodles, the veggie egg rolls, the green curry, or the shrimp fried rice and I'm always happy.
