The noodles were pretty tasty and definitely a generous portion. I even had leftovers for dinner! The place has a nice, chill vibe, and the service was good. A solid spot for a relaxed meal!

    Fried Tofu (8). Yum!

Ordered a few things from Thai Spice on Uber Eats. Didn't realize they were located in Lakeway. We ordered some fried tofu, pad Thai, a soup, and two curries. The green curry ended up being quite spicy. But everything was flavorful and delicious. Not overly sweet, like some other places in town. The food was great, and I'm excited to actually eat in-house in the near future.

Got the hot and spicy sour soup to go It was only HOT and salty! Wanted to like this place as it seemed like it had a nice ambiance and is in my area. Not sure if I would order again

    Pad kra Paw
    Steven M.

I got the Pad kra Paw. It said it came with an over-easy egg? The egg was good but it wasn't over-easy. The rice tasted dry. And I ordered one of the only items with two spicy pepper icons on the whole menu and I asked to make sure it was spicy. I think it was maybe a 1/10 for spice... I wouldn't even consider it spicy. It looks better than it was--it was good but just sort of boring and bland. But beyond all that, I looked the menu up on their own website before coming in and thought to myself "the price is a bit high but oh well" but when we got in, we were given menus where everything was $2-3 higher than their online menu. My only theory is they updated their menu prices to match their artificially adjusted takeout order prices. Walking away paying $50 for a Thai tea and two standard entrees is way too much for this kind of food, especially when you're misleading customers with the prices!

Overall a great place to eat, including the service the ambiance and the food. We ordered the following and most of the food was good. 1. Chicken dumplings: taste was fine, felt a little stale, maybe frozen that was unfreezed. 2. Chicken satay: good 3. Pineapple fried rice: good 4. Masaman curry: really good curry, the star of the show 4. Basil Eggplant : a very good vegetarian option, tasted really good

Today was my first time trying thai spice, although, I've wanted to come here for quite some time! I really love the building- brick walls, ambient lighting and overall great location. To start, I ordered a Thai tea. It's my favorite drink to get at thai restaurants and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! Perfectly flavored, I patiently waited for my entree. For my meal, I order pad kee mao- another favorite of mine. When it arrived, it was full of ALL the colors which I LOVE! Lots of bell pepper, serranos, broccoli and bamboo shoots! The pad kee mao was tasty and spicy- just the way I like it! I would come back and look forward to trying another dish!

Yum yum yum yum yum Came here looking for a change in food I've been eating. Seated right away. Host was very sweet and attentive Server was also very attentive and sweet Food was AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!! Flavor and all. Don't worry about spice level for crispy duck, it was right on point. Definitely coming back to try other things on the menu. Great job team

Pretty good Thai food for the area. Some dishes are quite spicy even for Thai food. I'd recommend.

In this dish it was perfectly seasoned it had a plethora of different types of seafood they had clams ,types of fish, ^ Shrimp. I Had a amazing dish that was so delicious that you just didn't want to put your fork down. That's what I call real food in front of you the plate was very large so what you're paying for is a lot of food and delicious on top of that now who could have not want that. So you're actually paying less for more food and it also had sides of sliced lime with bean sprouts. I really like the wine I had as well which is the Cabernet savion $10 but very deep red And dry. So I left very full and that's how I love to have my dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant if you want to try it you will be very happy with the menu cause it's lengthy and they take the time to cook it well for you so there is a little way but it's not too too long you will get fed one way or another you will get fed.

The inside was clean and really stylish and honestly didn't feel like we were in Austin at all. The service was great. I ordered the Panang curry and it was really good. The spice level was perfect since they added more coconut milk to balance it out, but if you love spicy food, this is still a great option. The Panang was delicious and I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed it. This is a nice spot for date night or family dinners. The bar area was nice, and there was plenty of seating inside, which I appreciated. I definitely recommend this place if you're in the Bee Cave area.

That was absolutely delicious as well it was fried well and not to over done. As I was Going through the menu again I noticed for dessert they have a mango Type mochi ice cream Japanese style. Delicious and differently creamy. The one thing I want to point out is that it's kind of confusing regarding the entrance there's 2 entrances 1 in the front and 1 in the back. The one in back I noticed doesn't have Handicap but they do have handicap in the front of the restaurant but not in the back. I went ahead and sat down and decided to check out the menu. And I decided to order the iced green tea which was a little slushy and the ice was crushed. Now here is why I'm giving them one star why because it took over an hour to even get my food I'd never got my tempura Zen that's right they were still waiting for that last dish to be Served to me. Yes over 1 hour sitting outside and people were complaining outside that they also were waiting longer than me. So I don't know what's going on with one of my very great places I love to eat the food quality of the tempura was low quality why is because it was very greasy and the shrimp was Not very crispy but yet sloshy and seem like limp after being in fried oil. The sushi restaurants start making a lot of their rolls with "spicy" ingredients. They are cutting their costs by blending ingredients. Not my favorite choice in a sushi place. Treated like the regular I was, always phenomenal service, offered me special off menu items on every visit, the freshest fish, exquisite presentations...just wow. And a great happy hour to boot. Thennnnnnn... About a year prior to my last restaurant visit, I had ordered an extra large assortment of items ($$$$) for delivery for a special occasion at home. It had been a while, but I noticed immediately something was "off." Bottom line, everything was just sloppy and not as fresh as it always had been in the past. I chalked it up to delivery versus dine in. There was something in the back of my mind though that told me that Chef Sun would never have let those items leave the restaurant. Fast forward to in-house dining again. Visible wear and tear on the restaurant interior (looks old). A few plates were even chipped. Might sound nitpicky, but in my humble opinion they need to reinvest some money into the restaurant to get it back up to its shiny self. The service was lackluster, slow, cordial but not necessarily friendly. Some of my favorite menu items (such as the yummmmmy sea bass) are no longer available. Prices were significantly higher than they used to be; however, that's everywhere right? Pft. Decided to order some "safe" dishes that had always been personal favorites. Go to "Red Hill Tower" was served first. The presentation was all right. Not as meticulous as it used to be. When I dug in mixed it all together I noticed how horrible the knife work was. I mean they butchered the tuna. Knife skills are very important in sushi. Many chefs train for years. Flavor was a-okay with all the house sauces, but for 20 bucks it left me wanting more. Gyoza was greasy and chewy. Rice in California Roll was on the dry side. Katsu was also quite dry and lacked flavor. Admittedly the vegetable tempora was pretty tasty. Not surprisingly, I was informed that the restaurant had been purchased by new owners quite some time ago. All of the changes are so apparent, and none are positive. Quality control and pride of stellar presentation and service has disappeared. Tadashi is now (sobbing) sadly just another subpar sushi restaurant with much higher prices than most. Goodbye my old friend. I have no intentions of returning. :(
