I went two weeks ago and the waitress brought both of us the wrong burgers (we didn't complain because we were hungry and wasn't a huge issue). But then she got our check wrong, which again not really big deal, but then when she did a new check she didn't credit us for the first check so basically I got charged twice. Three mistakes makes it seem like she can't do anything right. They owe me $62.81, now I have to drive up there and pay as much in gas to get my money back read more

Just Don't Bother, PLEASE. Just finished an extremely forgettable experience with my wife and daughter. I won't try to hold the server against the greater restaurant, but she was useless. 15 minutes at least before she came to the table one quick swing through laid into our dinner and another lengthy way before we could get our check while she circled everything around us and I sat there clearly trying to get her attention. In terms of the food, I had a very forgettable half rack of ribs that had some sort of sauce, dumped on top and completely unnecessary scallions. I need to scrape off. My wife went with the macaroni and cheese, which turned out to be honestly nothing more than noodles with a cheese sauce dumped on top. Nothing close to what anyone would have anticipated macaroni and cheese would be. Last stop was my daughter's pesto noodles. Just as with the other one, the noodles were not cooked well and both dishes came out definitely colder than expected. There's plenty of places to go in Lake George and while I expect average at best in a vacation town, this place falls well short of even average. read more

I really enjoyed their homemade root beer (unfortunately I didn't get to try any of their other beers but they did have a wide selection). The root beer had such a great taste and didn't feel as bubbly as you'd get with other commercially available root beers! It paired well with my hot honey chicken sandwich, which had a nice flavor but the coleslaw was slightly too acidic/sour. The sandwich was big and filling and the fries were seasoned and crispy. We've visited Lake George 4 times since 2022 and this has been our go to spot for our "big dinner". The wait time is worth it. Food is fabulous with so many things to choose from. The beers on tap are always delicious and so many you can't just have one. I have food allergies and always feel comfortable asking for ingredients and requests for a meal. I didn't like the sauce for the fries but the homemade ketchup on the table was great! The beers were delicious. The restaurant was really nice. Has the relaxing vacation treat yourself vibe. Indoor, out door and covered out door seating and lounge areas if you are just drinking. Sad we only got to eat there once. Felt like it was good value for money on all fronts. Second time visiting and sadly, not the same experience as the first. Different season maybe influenced the service and quality of food. After being seated, it took forever to see a server, then just the drink order alone took far too long. This was not during busy dinner hour or lunch time, it was actually in between. We started off sampling their beers which we both enjoyed and then for supper we had each a steak with garlic mashed potatoes and the veg of the day which was green beans The steak was cooked perfectly, the mashed potatoes were very tasty and the green beans were well seasoned and crispy We had a bottle of their own Pinot Noir with supper; a wonderful accompaniment For dessert Pooh had the Sticky Toffee cake and I had the Apple Crisp. I recently dined here and while the service was quite good -- attentive and friendly -- the food unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. I ordered a steak meal that came with two sides: sweet potato fries and corn. I asked for my steak to be cooked medium. It came out slightly overcooked but still close to what I asked for. The flavor, however, was lacking. The Au Jus that came with it helped salvage the drier, overdone parts of the steak, but overall it was underwhelming. The sides were a bigger disappointment. Both the sweet potato fries and the corn were served stone cold. The fries had potential if they had been hot, but the temperature ruined them. As for the corn, not only was it cold, but the portion was tiny -- barely a tablespoon's worth, which felt more like a garnish than a side dish. Overall, while the staff made the experience pleasant, the kitchen didn't deliver on quality or value. With better attention to food temperature and portion sizes, this could have been a much better meal. read more

Came here with a group of friends visiting the area. They were able to seat a party of 8 without a reservation, although I think someone called ahead to make sure they had seats. They certainly did has this place is massive. Loved the outdoor fire-pits that kept us warm in the cool summer nights. Foodwise, our group shared the Battered Pickle Chips ($14), which were crispy fried pickle chips served with a side of house chipotle ranch dipping sauce. The dipping sauce makes it a very enjoyable plate to snack on. For entrees, my gf ordered the Pesto & Roasted Tomato Alfredo ($20), consisting of penne pasta tossed with roasted tomatoes, fresh pesto and creamy alfredo sauce, then topped with shaved parmesan. Adding a protein costed extra depending on what protein, but overall was enjoyable as I was told. I ordered the BBQ Plate ($30), which consisted of a quarter rack of ribs, a grilled local bratwurst, and Korean BBQ glazed burnt ends. It's served with a side of house cole slaw, pickled vegetables, warm grilled peaches and a buttery roll. Super filling, enough to be split amongst two people. Enjoyed what I could consume. Being that it is a brewery, we had to get some draft beer. They had very decent selections. We absolutely loved our visit here. Firstly, our waitress was absolutely incredible and perhaps offered the best service of our entire vacation. She was attentive, friendly, helpful, and struck up conversation. At no point did we feel forgotten. The place was crowded on a rainy day, and the short wait was definitely worth it. We started with flights. I must say, I am a BIG fan of Adirondack's beers. They are WELL-DONE and high quality. As we drank our flights, we shared the German pretzel with beer cheese and it was out of this world. It was incredibly authentic. We also each ordered fish and chips, which was one of the better meals we had while we were staying in Lake George. It was perfectly battered, tasted incredibly fresh, and was a generous portion. The fries were crispy perfection. The locals were also very friendly here, which added to the great experience. Ambiance is a rustic brewpub vibe, which is my thing for sure. Great Food, Unprofessional Atmosphere I've always enjoyed the food at Adirondack Pub & Brewery--the menu is consistently delicious, and the quality of the meals is honestly what keeps me coming back. The atmosphere is usually fun and laid-back, and it's a great spot to grab a bite in Lake George. However, during my most recent visit, the staff's behavior at the bar was really disappointing. A group of employees were being extremely loud and having a very explicit conversation that was definitely not appropriate for guests to overhear. It made the environment uncomfortable, especially for anyone just trying to enjoy their meal. I truly hope management addresses the professionalism of the staff, because the food is excellent--but experiences like this can really take away from an otherwise great place. With a little more awareness and respect for the dining environment, this spot could easily be a five-star experience. read more

Friendliest service in Lake George. A huge contrast from rude places up the street. The bartender jumped in as our waitress and did an awesome job, making all four of our sons feel special after an eight hour drive. The food is excellent, particularly the burgers. This restaurant knows how to cook meat. When you say "medium rare" or "well done," they cook it to the precise temp and color. A fun location. Cool Adirondack decor. Lots of reasonably priced swag to purchase as a memory. If you are looking for a family friendly place with excellent service, great food, and good beer, come here. read more

It appears to be the same owners of the another place I had been disappointed in the day before during my LG stay. A few things we did appreciate: our waiter was awesome. My husband and I have been here a couple of times. Most recently we sat at the bar for Valentine's Day. The two female bartenders were attentive and personable. One was handing out stickers and ring pops to customers as they wait. My husband and I enjoyed our food and drinks. We especially enjoyed the atmosphere at the bar while chatting with the bartenders and other employees who were visiting the bar that evening. They kept the conversation engaging and funny! Well first off, we were looking for a place to have breakfast. This restaurant looked nice and the sign out front advertised the colossal breakfast, we were hungry and decided to give it a try. Not sure what their definition of colossal is, but when my breakfast came I got two slices of French toast; one piece of bacon, one egg, and one small sausage, WTF! I could have gotten more from a McDonalds breakfast. The food was so so...I mean the sausage tasted like the sausage I buy from Walmart. Can you say, "false advertising ". An ok place to eat in lake George. They have a super cute outdoor area with fire pits. The vibe is so cool outside! The beer was just okay. Our waitress was overly attentive but real nice and friendly. The fried pickles we got for a starter were pretty bland. I got the Korean beef tacos and they were so heavy. Let me preface this review by first saying that we have come here several times for Octoberfest, Winter Carnival, and other outside events and these guys put on a great party. The beer is above average, the customer service is always excellent. So let's review: Great Beer, Great Service, Great Parties! Now let's move on to the food. On two occasions we've been burned by just terrible food. A year ago we ate here on a very, very busy night and half of the entre's that came out were cold or inedible. To be honest I can't even remember what we and the others with us had to eat but is was memorable for being not good. Tonight we (only 2 of us) thought, let's give it another chance. Ordered the Street Corn Dip that was very good, and a large portion-however the chips were stale. Next we decided to split the open faced steak sandwich and it was inedible. First it wasn't near the description in the menu- served in a runny A1 steak sauce and topped with a sweet horseradish sauce. Menus said braised shaved prime rib topped with Gorgonzola. And it was served on what I can only describe as a tiny, thin bread crust. It was awful. Fortunately, we were able to send it back. We were not charged for it which was very kind of our bartender who is our server. Six sandwiches really hard to mess up. Slices of a NY strip on a roll- simple. Over think it and this is what you get- see the picture I posted- presentation is just gross. Also the sweet potato fries though tasty were cold. Oh well. Live and learn. read more

Came back again because of the proximity to my hotel. We were seated outside immediately and had Shawn as our server. He did everything right, was pleasant and presentable. We HAD TO get the eggplant fries again, which are so yummy, as was the accompanying marinara. Got the fish and chips but wanted to sub the mashed potatoes, (which on the menu, costs the same) but there was an up charge. Hmmm, ok, no worries. Well the fish was a HUMONGOUS piece of fish, beautifully fried but lacked any flavor. Not to mention, my up-charged sub mashed potatoes were cold. I didn't say anything cause it was my decision to make the substitution. My friend substituted sweet potato fries, which clearly states an up charge. Haven't been to Lake George for a minute so decided to take the boyfriend there to take in the sights, nature and lack of civilization. Going during the off season you won't be finding the busy groups and tourist stops like during the summer but it seems that this place is the exception which I can understand. Wanting to enjoy a local eatery and brewery with pints made in house you best prepare to wait for a little bit as they attempt to seat as many as they can while keep everyone safe during these difficult Covid times. We felt safe with masks and being seated in a small corner booth which made people watching all the better. We enjoyed seeing a couple sitting at a high top with a canoe hanging over them and was amused yet concerned for them. Regardless enjoyed a flight while snacking on other apps. Even got a growler to take home which I personally travel with as you never know where you'll find a great beer. I imagine this place is only busier during the summer months so glad to enjoy this local tourist hot spot while the tourist were gone for the season. read more

We were passing through Lake George area and decided to stop by here for a quick lunch after some Yelp research. This French onion soup is the best I have ever had in my life. We were cold and usually order one to split, just to warm up. Never ever finish the whole thing to be honest, but this time was different. We devoured the soup and all of its cheesiness, and then our burger came. We got halfway done with the burger and couldn't do it. I will drive 2 hours for this soup again soon. Another really good craft brewery in Lake George. A lot of good beers, a nice setting, and good, simple pub food. Their Saratoga Lager and Bear Naked Amber ale were the highlights for me. They were perfect for drinking by/in the lake and for evenings in the cabin. They were both dominated with flavorful malt without being heavy and made for easy drinking. The pub was good as well, as we had excellent pretzel bites and burgers. The kids really liked the pulled pork mac and cheese too. I visited this place during the Labor Day long weekend when I was at lake George. The staff was pleasant, everyone had their masks on and our waitress was friendly. The place has outdoor seating and the atmosphere is great to have some drinks with friends or family. Went here on a Sunday night around 6:30. Parking can be a challenge on a very busy night. The Waite staff is very attentive. We had the fish sandwich and the chicken brie sandwich. Both were good. I've been coming to Lake George for vacation in the winters since Covid and I would stay at the Holiday Inn Resort so it's a short walk to this restaurant and have come since I have found it the first year. Their variety of beers is great and you can select 4 for a flight. One of my favorite ciders is made here - farmhouse cider which is semi-sweet. Their food is good as well. They have a really nice outdoor space but since I normally come during winter and even though there's a fire going, it's a little too cold to sit outside. read more

Stopped in for dinner and the place has a very rustic vibe going on inside. We got the pickle chips served with a chipoltle mayo that were amazing, shrimp tacos, and Buffalo chicken salad.
