Unfortunately I had to come back twice as two items were incorrect at time of pick up. One dress failed to be shorten and another was still too big. When I returned a week later to pick up the two dresses, one was cutting into my armpit so tightly and had gaps on the chest. The only way it fit comfortably is if my arms are all the way behind my back. Otherwise it digs so deeply into the armpit that it hurts. I was told that due to how large the dress was originally, there was nothing that could be done about the ill fit in the armpit/chest area and just pull it down more. Gave no solution to fix. As experts in the alteration field, they should be clear on what can and can't be done with certain garments. I obviously would not have paid to alter a garment if I'd known it wouldn't fit properly. Unfortunately it is completely unwearable with the chest gaps and extremely tight armpit. Essentially I threw away $46 on that.

Should be NO STARS…read more I took my Juki TL-2000qi in for service for a minor mechanical issue and was told I would be called BEFORE any repairs were attempted. Two weeks later, I got a call letting me know that my machine would no longer power on and the technician had blown two of its fuses. Not only that, I was told they "couldn't get parts anymore" because my machine was "an old, inferior internet model." None of that is true--my TL-2000Qi is only four years old, well reviewed, still in production, and purchased from a local authorized dealer. The machine worked when I dropped it off. When I picked it up, it would not even power on. Instead of fixing the damage done in their shop, they tried to cover it up with lies. Do not trust your equipment to this shop.

Polo Tailors and Cleaners did a beautiful job removing the blood stains and steaming out the old seam lines, as well as ironing out wrinkles in the dress. Also, they charged me a reasonable price, less than I was quoted at other reputable spots. As soon as we were home from the Hill Country wedding, I came back to entrust the post-wedding cleaning to Hoa at Polo Tailors and Cleaners. The wedding day had been drizzly, and the hem and train of the dress were muddy. Hoa, who had helped me so well the first time, got out the mud stains. She also declined to charge me extra for the mud stains. I have not yet had a chance to use their services for alterations, but I was able to watch them measure another client who wanted to have a suit taken in. Hoa did an expert job of marking up his suit.
