Unfortunately, out of three haircuts needed only one came out decent. They didn't listen to what was requested, they completely cut-off the part of hair that wasn't supposed to be cut. The fades requested were not given accordingly. The pricing was weird, they charged two of the haircuts $15 & another $27, because according to the owner they were a returning customer even though everyone was a new customer. It seems as though it's a new business taking over the H&M business. I sadly don't recommend unless you're willing to be practiced on. Hopefully this feedback helps. read more

Warning! This is not the same ownership!!! This is under new management. For starters they have a deal that if you're new, it's $15. Otherwise, it's $25 and the lady that owns the shop will try her best to assume she's seen you there before. So as you can imagine, it became awkwaaaaard AF when she asked me 3-5 times if my 15 year old son had been there before Mind you, it's only me or his dad that take him to cut his hair. The kid that cut his hair, straight chopped off my son's mullet that's he's been trying to grow out for the past 6 months.... I felt so bad! He gave my husband this haircut that made him look like chinas dictator.. I'm so pissed because it's so hard to find a decent barber around me! Uugh!! I wished I started to go to these places more often. 9 years of going to Great Clips I was nervous walking into a barbershop for the first time. The ladies here are so friendly and kind! They made me feel welcome and comfortable. The lady who cut my hair took her time and did an amazing job on my haircut. Definitely a different style of cutting vs Great Clips. Omar has been cutting my hair for 6 years. I have followed him from shop to shop. Now that he has a place of his own I continue to come in to stay fresh. Every time I get a fresh cut I get asked where I get my hair cut, and I always refer anyone to him. It doesn't matter your gender or ethnicity you will come out looking fly. If you want a fly design he's the man to see. Omar may be my barber but everyone working here from his sister to the other barbers are all amazing and you won't go wrong by visiting here. I was not going to leave a review; however, after consulting with several consumers within similar industries, I decided it was necessary to protect others because principle is imperative... Firstly, I was a consistent and a loyal customer of Diana, after I met her accidentally at a Twins Barbershop location in the greater Phoenix Metropolitan area around August 2014. After a tremendous haircut and pleasant conversation I was informed that this was not her primary business location.This experience lead me to follow her to Senior's Barbershop located in Goodyear, AZ. She continued to cut my hair from that point until 2017 at Senior's Barbershop. Unbeknownst to me, she left without prior notification; however, I continued to frequent Senior's Barbershop until approximately 12 months later. One day I inquired from a Senior's Barbershop employee of Diana's professional whereabouts thus leading me to follow her yet again to H&M Barbershop located in Glendale, AZ until August 2019. In March 2019 there was a situation in which I expressed my confusion whether another customer or myself was next in the barber's chair. I was unaware this other customer was already on the premises and this customer felt the services I receive should follow as opposed to precede. I reluctantly conceded to the customer's claim as to not continue an unnecessary discussion in the presence of other customer's. My services ensued without incident. During my next visit to H&M (around April 2019), a sign was posted on the front window of H&M's shop informing customers should stand at the door until the shop's doors opened as to minimize and/or eliminate the potential of confusion for the syntax of services rendered. This situation was addressed with little to no issue. During a routine haircut on 27 Aug 2019 I was informed midway during the haircut the price was being increased due to the services I received and was not completely fulfilled. I was informed I needed to pay $5 more ($20-$25). I complied though I informed Diana I thought the price increase should have been told to me prior to the haircut .She arrived at 0900 and even though the hours were posted previously beginning at 0900. She could have and should have informed me prices were increasing prior to her arrival. If she arrived prior to 0900 she could have informed me as well as prepped the shop for other customers. She has established a reputation and informed me as well as 2 other current customers on 27 Aug 2019 that she was so good her arrival time was of NO concern and other customers did not complain of her arrival time that it did not matter. On 27 Aug 2019, she informed she no longer wanted me to return as her client. I was stunned, hurt, and confused. On 19 Sep 2019 I made a phone call attempting to salvage things and again she informed me she no longer wanted me to return as she felt I no longer appreciated the way conducted business(arriving around 0900-0910). I felt the constructive criticism she received from me was not to hurt her or her business but to improve the business operation(s). The phone call on 19 Sep 2019 hurt me deeply especially since I reached out to her hoping to rectify the business relationship though clearly that was NOT her perspective. I displayed loyalty, commitment among many other attributes to maintain a business relationship; however, she felt to focus on my addressing of her personal inability of failing to show up ahead of business hours and actually exhibiting to customers money was NOT her only reasoning of showing servicing others. Asking Diana to show up ahead of schedule, exhibiting to current as well as potential clients, was NOT enough to hurt her or her business; however , her arrogance of being an amazing barber (which she is) was not enough for her to appreciate me as a client. Please keep this in mind when considering H&M as a potential business partner that if you voice your professional experience, H&M may advise you to no longer return as business owners may not mind. Alex is the only barber and owner. I have now been here twice and both times got a great haircut. I get a short fade and he takes his time making sure it looks right. Plus, both times there has been no wait which is awesome considering some of the other barber shops make you wait for 30 minutes+. Cut is $13 so it's on the cheaper side also. this place is horrible. i have had my hair cut there a few times for one you can come in there with your hair done and say i just want a trim this is how i do my hair and then he proceeds to start cutting and he shaves most of it off. i slick my hair back and my hair is thick so i need the length to pull this off he chopped my hair so short up top that i have to grow it out again he brought the fade in the back up so high if i try to slick my hair back it doesnt even work cuz the top of my head is have way shaved off. im super pissed its so uneven and no where near a professional job i hate this place do not go im gonna shave my head and start growing it all over again read more
