Professionalism, care, empathy, kindness, compassion, and competency is what this exceptional establishment is all about, and my therapist Kai exuded all of those qualities. Kai was very experienced and showed me the correct exercise program to help in my rehabilitation. My rehab included both in person and online via Zoom. I began coming to this office when I broke my leg last year and I was incredibly impressed with the treatment plan, my progress, as well as the general environment of the office. I have had a broken ankle, torn up knee, both shoulders at different times injured and strained. Each time the professionals at M2M have fixed me up and made me better. Great treatment from the owner; from DPT Mayur Mistry and soon to be DPT Sean. Doctors will recommend therapy networks/facilities but when was the last time they actually needed a PT professional. After thinking the surgery to repair a herniated disk in my lumbar spine failed, my surgeon recommended physical therapy. I found Made to Move Physical Therapy through the clearing service my surgeon recommended. The staff is friendly, extremely knowledgable, and the progress I've made since coming there is nothing short of remarkable! The location is a bit off the beaten path, but well worth seeking out, and there is usually plenty of parking. They accept most insurance plans. I recently had knee replacement surgery. The procedure was complicated by a tumor and damaged kneecap. This made my recover different from a typical knee replacement and caused me to have issues walking and my knee to not respond to the typical physical therapy approach. I initially began my physical therapy at a facility that had a pool. When the issues arose with my knee recovery they told me to be patient and continued to provide standard by-the-book treatment. I knew my knee needed more than that so I got a copy of my prescription and went back to see Michele at Made to Move physical therapy. Michele took the time to try different things and to consult other therapists until she was able to develop a treatment plan specifically for my condition and it worked! I've had 9 surgeries and numerous injuries related to weekend sports (Hockey, basketball, roller blading, skiing), and have gone through physical therapy at multiple facilities, and Made to Move is by far the best. I've been to M2M for post-surgical PT for my left shoulder, back, wrist, knee and I'm currently going there for treatment after having surgery on my right shoulder. At M2M you'll never feel rushed and the friendly staff gives you the attention you need. The other reviews are right on! The staff is warm, friendly, knowledgeable and really care about their patients. Michelle is an expert. I broke my foot and broke, tore and separated my shoulder in an accident. Although I am not an athlete, I am very active so it is important to me that I fully recover as soon as humanly possible. Michelle and the team has been diligently working with me, and in just a few weeks I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I am on the road to recovery, hoping to skip surgery. I picked Made to Move because of their Yelp reviews and the location is easy. I was not disappointed. The office is clean and well equipped. No one is going to hand you a paper and have you go exercise by yourself. You'll receive a personalized therapy plan and someone will walk you thought it, over and over. It makes it kind of hard to lie about how many reps you did. I'm there for lower back problems. I've never walked out feeling hurt, or woken up that way. Yes I might be sore after intensive stretching, but it's the good kind of sore. I'm amazed at the progress I've made in a very short time. You'll find the staff is friendly, professional, and efficient. Sometimes I wonder about the positions Michelle puts me in to move my muscles and stuff around. I came here for shoulder rehab (tears in rotator cuff and biceps tendon). I chose to return to Made to Move after the great job done with my ankle/achilles tendon months earlier. This time I mostly rehab'ed with Mayur, Jenna, Chudi and Mayra using strengthening exercises and flexibility techniques to help me regain full use of my left shoulder & arm. After 16 sessions with this crew, I am now back to overhead lifting and playing sports. Made to Move has plenty of parking in a great location, quickly accessible to 105 (which is great for me) and the team is very friendly, knowledgeable, professional and makes the road to rehab easily tolerable. Although I hope to never have another injury to recover from, it'll be my first choice for rehab should I ever need it again. read more

I made the decision to go to Made to Move PT because of all the great yelp reviews. Let me tell you I was not disappointed. I came in because my calves where cramping on me when I go on runs. Michelle was great and figured out what was wrong with me on the first day. She had me go through various exercises and stretches to do in the office and at home. In 2 months I was up and about slowly getting better and the staff did an excellent job in keeping straight with the exercises. I can say I am back at it with my running and properly stretching out with the techniques that Made to Move PT showed me. I am about to do a half marathon in a few weeks and I cannot wait. Megan was my therapist when I was sent here for my first treatment for my injury. They sent me to be treated for my hands and arms. During my treatment Megan was of the opinion that she thought my injury was in my neck, something my specialist had never considered. After many sessions, a steroid shot to my wrist by the specialist and a MRI finally I was told the problem was in my neck. Megan hit it right on the head. After months of waiting for authorization of more treatment I insisted on returning back here. This is the best place I have ever gone for physical therapy and I have been to many. Thanks guys. Went here for PT recovering from a total shoulder replacement and am so glad I did. After trying other PT centers, my surgeon recommended this place and even though it was farther away than the others, it was worth the trip! Mayur and everyone else on the staff is excellent at what they do. Plus, the vibe is ultra clean, positive and friendly; it seems like everyone enjoys working there, which I really appreciate. I've had a lot of PT over the years for my shoulder at other places, and I can honestly say this was the best place I've been to. Plus, they work with you for a full hour session (as opposed to other places that just rush you in and out for only a 30min spot). It made a big difference in my progress. I came here of my own accord with lower back pain and stiffness. Turns out my pelvis was tilted. Michele created an exercise plan tailored to my needs and helped stretch and adjust me as needed. In less than 6 weeks my pain fully subsided and the stiffness is almost nonexistent. I learned helpful stretches and exercises to use at home. I highly recommend Made to Move. I've had an amazing experience with the team at Made to Move Physical therapy. Having a shoulder injury for over 7 years now and being in and out of physical therapy, massage and chiropractor offices, Michelle is the first person to finally be able to fix my shoulder. I've had to pull out of dance competitions due to this injury and thrown ribs out of place but after working with Michelle I have now been to 5 competitions in a row with no pain. I've also been diagnosed with arthritis in two of my vertebrae's and Michelle has gotten me back to a range of motion in my neck I haven't had in years. In addition to recommendations for home maintenance including a water pillow that helps reduce my pain in the morning. She really goes the extra mile and cares about her patients. I saw Michele for 8 sessions for my frozen shoulder. Her attention to detail and commitment to solve my problem was amazing. She spent so much time with me every session, trying to manipulate and adjust so I could get relief. Her staff was nice and professional. Best yet, her office was very accomidating with my schedule requests, and was always on time! I never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment! The entire office was very good at maintaining Covid-19 safety protocols and cleanliness. Everything was wiped down the moment it was used, everyone was required to wear a mask, and every patient was spaced out appropriatly so everyone remained safe. Physical therapy is a very intimate and sensitive thing, made to move makes physical therapy a good experience for you and your recovery. Since I tore my Achilles in a freak basketball accident in February physical therapy is a must do for me if I ever want to play sports again or get back to as close as what I was before my injury. The first three months of my injury I had Kaiser so physical therapy is done in house. I switched my insurance coverage which required me to find a new position and physical therapy. It took me some time to find bones because you can't just go anywhere with your injury or injury recovery. Are use yelp, Google reviews, and personal recommendations and stumble across made to move. They have not disappointed. The facility is well-maintained, their machines are up to date, and there's plenty of availability for appointments. Not to mention their staff and therapists are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. All of this is adding up to an amazing experience for my recovery and I truly appreciate it. I highly recommend made to move for anyone searching for physical therapy in the South Bay/LAX area. read more

Just "graduated" from Physical Therapy at Made to Move. The knee is working again - able to run and play bball. Therapist Kellee was awesome in developing strength, improving alignment, and gaining increased flexibility and range of motion. I think she could get anyone back together in 1 piece! I learned about Michele through my husband. She treated him after his knee surgery. Ive been coming here for many months with my 3 month old and I just enjoy my trips here. Very caring, warm and knowledgeable staff. They are like family. They do what they do and they do it Best. Ive being seeing Michele and she is the best therapist. I originally went to see Michelle for a back problem which was keeping me from doing any of my activities. With her treatment I am back running and doing all of my other activities without pain. Then I recently had a cyst removed and a tendon repaired on my middle finger. Again I've gotten excellent therapy from Michelle and in a short period of time, am almost back to full function. I've also seen Stacey and Kellie who are both excellent. The clinic is very open and organized. I love the staff - very friendly and fun to work with. This place is my saving grace! My newborn daughter was diagnosed with Torticollis at 3 months old. I called several PT agencies before my prayers was answered with Made to move! I have seen Michele for two separate issues over the last year & she has been phenomenal both times. It is evident that she is well-educated in her field & I trust her implicitly. Last spring I had a bout of vertigo that left me immobile for 24 hours. After 2-3 sessions with her, it disappeared & never returned.
