Clean, well laid out Madewell store in Lenox Mall in Buckhead. This particular store seems limited to women's clothing with a J Crew style which is given as they are part of the same company. The sales rep was kind and let me know that men's clothing selection was found in their ponce de Leon location which is good to know. My wife had a wonderful time checking out some clothing here and making a nice selection. Grear value and laid back vibe. Christine and Dakota were very kind and gave great customer service. Offered me a seat to sit and relax while my wife tried on some clothes and had a relaxed shopping experience pampered by the attentive and positive service. 5 stars and thank you Madewell of Buckhead! read more

A better location since moving out of the actual mall. They are now located across the street at Shops Around Lenox. It's a large store with a good layout. The staff is friendly and helpful (usually-on my most recent visit there was an entirely new staff set that had never seen and it was def different than normal) I am a pretty regular Madewell customer and this is my go-to local store-I also worked at the old in mall location a decade ago so when I say I am a regular, I really mean that. Large sale area. They seem to gather most of the accessories and shoes. And they get the trendier things that other locations don't, but not a huge quantity. I do wish they had a men's section at this location and I truly do not understand why they do not while other, smaller locations do. I shopped here on Saturday afternoon. When I arrived it was pretty quiet, just me and the two sales reps. Gradually they had a couple of other patrons. I felt very taken care of by both ladies. It's a neat and not too big store so browsing won't make you exhausted. I came in to take advantage of their jean trade-in deal where you can bring in jeans of any brand and get a discount on Madewell's own jeans. Typically it is 20% but they are doing 50% until Sept 11. The vouchers you get will last until end of October. I brought in 5 pairs. I was so surprised about their sizing as I fit into a pair two sizes below my previous size and one size below the size I thought I'd be. I was also impressed that these jeans are cute and work comfortably as "sitting" jeans as shown in my below photo. Only con of the whole experience was the limited styles in petite sizing :( I'll be ordering the rest of my discounted jeans online, where there are also more wash colors. read more

I am enjoying my favorite retailer at the moment, Madewell mainly for their comfortable jeans. For me I've never liked low cut jeans and when its not low up it's either mid or high cut which feels like its cutting air supply flow...but Madewell's mid cut jeans seem to feel comfortable and after a few washes they still feel right which is a good thing because we all know how jeans after they've been tossed in the dryer a few times never fit right. This location at Lenox is a pretty nice one on the ground floor near J Crew and Club Monaco. The employees here are super attentive and welcome folks into the store...when I was here last they had little muffins and club soda for shoppers which was super nice....I would definitely come back and shop again.... read more

First let me say I'm a huge madewell shopper love love love their clothes. I went in today to make a return and Rochelle was soo helpful. I returned a pair of pants that were too big and the size was not available online due to it being on backorder. After leaving the store I received a voicemail from Rochelle saying someone had made a return earlier for the exact size and color I needed. I quickly returned to the store. I agree 100% with the reviewer who mentioned the CS is even better than the clothing here! Definitely one of their strongpoints along with their education discount and quality products. Everything I've ever purchased from them is still in tip-top shape. I love their client invitations, frequent events, and good sales. I think my favorite is SA is gone now (Jordan) but it's so amazing to shop somewhere and have people remember you and your tastes! Only drawback is the collection of the season can be hit or miss sometimes and there is often a discrepancy between the web prices and in-store prices, which is not their fault. And true to their focus on Customer Satisfaction they will make is right for you if you alert them! Truly a pleasure shopping here. read more

Service at Madewell is even better than the clothes- even on a Saturday at one of the busiest malls in the southeast. The girls at the Lenox store are the nicest and most helpful sales associates I've ever encountered. Not only did sweet Francis help me pick out a super cute fall ensemble, but she stayed close by (in a non annoying way) the whole time to help me decide what looked good while patiently talking through various outfit scenarios with me. She and her teammates even stood outside the dressing room to critique each item I tried on and to make sure I had the right sizes. I really felt like I was the only shopper in the store that day. Although they do have sales to make, these girls are also sincere. And so friendly. If the skinny jeans and flouncy top I tried on didn't wow me at first, Francis and her colleagues sure sold me on them (plus a belt and tights). I am an enormous fan of Madewell's style of clothing - trendy, urban chic/bohemian clothing perfect for comfortable, but stylish everyday wear (with many sequined embellishments, of course!) They have extensive sales in the back of the store as well, so if you see a basic/printed shirt you are iffy about in the new collection wait a month and chances are you will find it on the sale rack. I also love the large scarf collection - they have so many different ethnic-patterened scarfs that make for great gifts (preferably to yourself!). I've been in Madewell twice now, both times on my lunch break, and it definitely lost some of its luster the second time around. My co-workers and I call it "the jeans, boots, and scarves store." Admittedly, that was enough for me at first. The store is brightly lit and well-organized. It's slick. Even though I didn't know going in that Madewell is an offshoot of J.Crew, I never mistook this place for an independently-owned, one-of-a-kind store. You can smell the efforts of the marketing teams as soon as you walk in. And what can I say? They've done their work. You might find yourself wanting to buy some jeans and boots -- perhaps nicely accessorized with a scarf! -- even though you won't be able to explain why. So, yes, I felt the pull to go back. But the second time around, I noticed the flimsiness of the t-shirts and cardigans. I noticed the way the jeans were cut -- long and skinny, like so many jeans you'll find in the mall these days. The shortest pair was a good chunk of denim longer than my petite-size legs. Ah well. The staff had been so eager to tell me about Madewell the first time I visited, but this time, the two associates on the floor had your typical "Yeah, and then he said this thing and I just don't know what he meant by that and do you think I'm overreacting or should I just text him and see what's up?" conversation while I browsed. (For the record, she decided to text him.) I don't know if this will change in the future, but right now the clothes are all centered on the same basic outfit. This involves -- you guessed it -- jeans, boots, a t-shirt, one of those flimsy sweaters that's alternately called a grandpa cardigan and a boyfriend cardigan, and, of course, a scarf. I'll be interested to see how this place evolves, but I can't imagine dropping much money here, now or later. read more

NYC and Boston locations were obviously bigger than this one located inside of the mall. none the less, they had great selection of clothes, and their service was very good. the sale section (aka my fav) is located in the back and their deals were pretty good. synched with all the other locations obviously, but none the less, i did score some great deals here. read more

Yes it's a chain so I will keep it brief- The best thing about this store, as others have mentioned, is the service. The super cute clothes are not always of the best quality, and when they have failed on me (manufacturing defect leading to precocious tear, for instance), the nice ladies at the store and the online customer service reps will gladly reimburse you for your troubles. I was thrilled to happen upon a Madewell store after hearing about their denim ad nauseam from a friend (in a good way). I recently lost some weight and have been in desperate need of some quality denim. I wandered in and was immediately met by the friendliest folks who took me on my denim journey. We discussed my desires and preferences, then landed on the perfect style. I slipped into them and immediately began jumping for joy (among other things to test their movement/out of pure jubilation). I then learned they were 1. On sale and 2. I could get even more off by handing over the current jeans I was wearing. More celebration happened, I said farewell to my old pants and left the store feeling like I was walking on clouds. I've felt like a goddess all day and am so, so happy. What's even more impressive than these pants is the friendliness and level of service provided while in the shop. Thank you so much! read more
