Madison county distillery was fantastic. We went around Christmas and my husband got a holiday themed flight. I got a gin flight. Both were delicious. The gin drinks were light and refreshing. The tacos were the star of the show. They were some of the best tacos I've had in the area. Staff was friendly and attentive as well. It's definitely worth the drive out from Syracuse.

Such a wonderful place to come hang out. Some great signature vodka and gin drinks as well as local beer. The tacos are amazing as well as the buff dip, and the candied bacon is incredible. Come and see this place!

We love taking little day trips to Cazenovia from Syracuse, & I can't believe we've never stopped here! 5 stars all around. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and my husband had a few free tastings of the spirits that they make. I tried their gin, and I can say hands down it's the best, most flavorful gin I've ever tasted. We had a few of their special cocktails, and they also have a great selection of craft beer. We got their chicken nachos, and they were fantastic. We are huge nacho fanatics and they lay them flat on the tray so all the chips get the toppings (the best way!) Their pico de gallo was great and the chicken had a nice smokey flavor. We saw on the wall that they won best taco; so next time we will definitely be checking that out. We noticed they have live music scheduled throughout the week and we checked outside and they had corn hole and some fire pits and plenty of seating. Can't wait to be back!

In trying times, a slice of heaven. Amazing, warm family atmosphere with great drinks, tasty food, and friendly service. A must visit! Seriously, come here.

What a wonderful, beautiful place. The staff is absolutely amazing. And the drinks, AWESOME, very tasty. All around a great time and experience when we are here.

This place a real find. Looking forward to coming back often.

Fun cocktails! We got the taco flight and our favorites were the fish and beef. Great beer selection, a little bit of everything.

The watermelon flavor came through just enough to where it wasn't overpowering. I shared a waygu burger and fries with my dad and it was definitely more than enough food. I was skeptical at first with the fries being around $6, but the portion was very large and definitely worth the money. The snack shack was packed but my food came out super quick and warm, the staff definitely knew how to handle a crowd!! We ended the night with a few cider donuts and a beautiful view!! We were given a drink ticket with our admission ticket (which was around $50). The event usually does sell out so it's wise to get tickets well in advance if able. We were given bags to collect eggs if needed. There were specific times to search for eggs and collect prizes so that seemed pretty organized. There was live music and a heavy snack buffet bar that included quesadillas, fried pickles, BBQ chicken sliders, and potato salad. I won a bottle of flavored vodka, some candy, and a dozen donuts (that I have to return for). It was a fun twist on a childhood Easter activity with a few opportunities to win something fun. Just be advised that you may need to return some of the prizes.

You will be happy you made the trip. Sure it's off the beaten path but isn't that what life is all about? Find a beaten path then make the best of its experiences. When you arrive you will be greeted and treated by the proprietor. A genuine, hard-working distiller who loves his craft. See his passion come to life in this distillers whiskeys. My suggestion would be to do what we did and get yourself a flight of the various options and decide for yourself which one is right. There's Apple-based whiskeys, whiskey's distilled in maple barrels, to 110+ proof heavy duty stuff, there's a nice selection for all. Oh, and don't forget to try the slushy's. Don't bother with the sampler, dive right into the largest one they offer. You probably won't be the one driving back at that point. These are outstanding! Inside the gift shop you'll be astounded by the array of dragon themed trinkets and gifts. Even the restroom holds its own uniqueness. You can sit inside or outside, either way you will be glad you took the trip.

Well lucky for us we stopped in on a whim (let's be honest I'm a sucker for good branding). The property is clean and simple, the tasting room was in line with what we experienced last last in Kentucky in more rural spots. They make gin, vodka and whiskey. I'm not much of a liquor drinker but my husband bought 4 bottles and said it's fantastic- he is very into bourbon and if he says it's good then it is. To my untrained palate it tastes like alcohol. It's $3 for 3 tastings and you can also get a cocktail. There is a fair amount of branded products and souvenirs. So it would be a good spot to pull together a gift basket for Fathers Day or Christmas. Absolutely worth a visit- a beautiful craft distillery with a friendly knowledgeable staff.

Once inside, the distillery is to the right, and the bar and dining area is to the left. You seat yourself, then a server will come to your table. We told the girl that we were in a bit of a hurry, and she and her bartender did everything they could to get us our order and make sure we didn't miss any of the concert. There's two huge chalkboards behind the bar, full of specialty drinks they offer. Their food menu is a pretty short list, but everything we ordered was great. I had a cheeseburger, my wife had fish tacos, and our daughter had the chicken sandwich. The two sandwiches came with fries (which were a wee bit on the salty side, but good). We all enjoyed our food, and it was reasonably priced. We will definitely go back there. The concert venue across the driveway was spacious, and had great acoustics. They also have a mini bar inside the venue, but the line moves VERY slowly.

We opted for two tastings, which gave us 8 different products to sample. All of them were ok, but the standouts were the 4 Grain and the 2 cream liqueurs. We also ordered two cocktails, one was a whiskey sour and the other was pear based. Again, they were ok, but we would like to see them up their game to showcase the spirits with a house made sour mix instead of pre-bottled. Yes, I now know they have the word "distillery" in the title but my assumption was this was strictly a craft brew place... wrong. I consider myself a very casual beer consumer. My preference is bourbon. While my friends all enjoyed their craft brews, I sampled the $4 flight of spirits coming away quite satisfied with every single one. And, I'm picky when it comes to Bourbon. My flight choice included the Four Grain whiskey, the Skaneateles whiskey, the Bourbon, the crème brûlée, and the honey barreled. Yes, I know, that makes 5. Though the flight was only 4 choices the server was very gracious and let me try the maple barreled one... sweet, but yum! The Four grain whiskey was one of the highly decorated spirits winning numerous gold awards. Though my first choice is not whiskey, this was absolutely fabulous! Deep, rich flavor that won't overtake your palette. The master distiller gets a lot of praise for the work he puts into his creations, all of which are earned. I found the Skaneateles whiskey to be quite excellent as well with its smooth finish and flavorful draw. Their bourbon stands right up there with some of the best I've had. I found a hint of maple, cherry flavor but not oaky. The crème brûlée was a nice sweet spirit a kin to Bailey's or Frangelica's. It's something coffee drinkers would find pleasant to add to their drink. I also very much enjoyed the maple whiskey. Having a sweet tooth for these sort of things this New York-based foundation made for a sweet tasty drink. There is seating inside and out. The day we were there they had live music. No question, we will all definitely be back again. I look forward to the time we can sit outside as well.
