She did what was previously deemed not possible. How wonderful it was to hear that they could create the glasses that I needed. They ordered trial pair and tried to get out of checking to make sure that they were working well. When we went in for follow-up the prescription needed adjusting. New trials were ordered. I was told that we would be contacted. 4 months later after many calls from me we got the new trials as we were moving out of the state. The new trials weren't working for my son, so before we permanently moved I went in to talk to the office manager wanting at least a partial refund. Office manager was on vacation, front desk employee said she would call me upon return. She knew this would be after my permanent move. Here I sit almost 2 months later and no phone call. They didn't have frames that I liked so I went elsewhere. No problem. My girlfriend and I noticed the woman who was helping us was being oddly passive aggressive but we ignored it and went on about our day. I find frames I like someplace else and the woman who was helping me get set up called to ask for help from someone from FFEC and whoever answered her was very rude to her, ended the call abruptly and made her cry. Not sure if it was the same person as before but I think I know the name of the person but I won't say it in case I'm wrong. I assumed it was on file as it was in the past. He has since retired. Harman eye center would not write my reading script without another $100 contact fitting appt. It is the same script I had the previous year. It would be just as easy for them to comp a visit and do a five minute check, or write the script as it should have been, but they would rather strong arm me into another visit. It was a mistake made by your staff, I shouldn't have to have to pay for his omission. He had a co-pay which we expected but then they charged for test they completed that insurance wouldn't pick up. He then went in to get a copy of his test to turn in for possible active duty service and they charged him another 20 dollars to get copies of the test. Employees were friendly but the extra charges are the first I have experienced with 9 kids who have appointments every year in 15 years of appointments, especially for college kids who are most likely on a limited budget.
