WORST DENTAL EXPERIENCE I got braces from this dentist about two years ago and received my retainers two weeks later. Fast forward to three weeks ago, when I lost my top retainer. I called the office to schedule an appointment, but they said they were closed, even though their website indicated that they were open. I proceeded to call three days in a row. Each time, the woman on the phone told me that she needed to get back to someone and would call me the next day. When she finally called me back, five days after I initially reached out, she told me that the earliest available appointment was two weeks away. When I finally made it to my appointment, my teeth had shifted a little. Dr. Jianjun Hao told me that my only options were to get braces again or keep my teeth the way they were. From what I understand, there are other options that can sometimes be considered when teeth have shifted after losing a retainer, so I found it strange that I was only given the option of paying $2,000 for braces again, and only for my top teeth. I started asking questions about why I would need braces again and whether there were any other options. They knew I obviously wouldn't want to leave my teeth the way they were, so it felt like I was essentially being given only one choice: pay another $2,000 for braces. It felt like a money grab. However, the main reason I am writing this negative review is because of how I was treated. I was simply a curious patient asking questions, and I was not causing any problems. I was raised to ask questions politely, but instead of answering my questions, I was met with hostility and felt like I was being pushed out the door, even though I was still within my scheduled appointment time. Dr. Jianjun Hao was extremely unprofessional. Rather than taking the time to address my concerns and explain my options, he seemed more focused on getting me out of the office. I have been coming to this dentist my entire life, about 20 years, and this is by far the worst experience I have ever had here. So I went there to see what was going on with my mouth the lady with colorful hair doesn't clean well she clean things off with a gauze also because I didn't want to be stuck with just the needle to do my cavities I would prefer some nitro which they doesn't do she cleaned my teeth I think just to get paid because why clean teeth I have cavities to attend to they gave me a referral with no doctor who referred me. Only cleaned with water I guess it has a pointy edge on it teeth now hurts a waste of time!!! read more

I scheduled a appointment for my sister Carol today 6/5/23. The transportation provider through healthcare Blue Cross Blue shield cancelled pick up to and from the appointment on today 6/5/23. I was told so many lies from representatives about the reason for the delay in picking Carol up for her dental appointment. Initially I called to see if transportation could arrive earlier than expected arrival time because Carol was ready for pickup early. Blue Cross Blue shield did not have the trip entered in the system. I had Blue Cross Blue shield reenter the trip for Carol 6/6/23 Dental appointment. I called approximately 30 minutes later on 6/6/23 and the trip again was not entered. Information about the trip for 6/6/23 was reentered. Blue Cross and Blue shield indicated that they called the Dental Clinic located on Madison and Pine and the facility was closed around 8:30am. Once I ended the call with Blue Cross Blue shield, I called the Dental location myself to ask for a later time be given for Carol Dental appointment due to transportation not picking up Carol as prescheduled about a few days ago. Overall the Dental Clinic would not keep the dental appointment date the same but reschedule for a later time. A representative from the Dental Clinic called me after ending the call and said that she took my sister Carol appointment out of the system today and Carol will not be seen by anyone at the Dental Clinic. Carol has an amputation is not as mobile as the larger population of people. It took time and energy for Carol to dress for the appointment. The cancellation was a waste of time for Carol and myself. Also, I am not satisfied with the customer service I received from the Dental Clinic or the Blue Cross Blue shield transportation scheduler. They helped me understand my dental coverage and sent me estimates that show out of pocket expenses. They handles everything on the admin and billing side for me like handling claims and they were able to give me a solid plan for my dental care for the next few years. I am disappointed in the operations of Madison Pine Dental! Me and my children have been patients for several years and today at 9am I bring my children for their appointments and I am told their insurance is no longer accepted! I was not told this when I scheduled their appointment nor was I told when I rescheduled their appointment! I didn't receive a letter or a call stating that their insurance was no longer accepted! This was not only unacceptable but a total inconvenience for me and my children! The dentist used a hammer to bang into the root all the time Im telling him I feel the pain and he continued to bang chipping the bone in my upper gum. They left particles of tooth in there so when it closed up it was like i had a tooth growing and had to pull it out with pliers. read more

The dentist made an error on my tooth extraction (simple extraction vs. surgical extraction). It was a simple extraction. I spoke with the manager who defended the dentist offered no real explanation as to why it would classify as. A surgical extraction. Instead she told me not to come back to this dental clinic. She bragged that her staff is "good". And my business was not needed. Although she finally changed the price of the service, my point is her response to making a correction. This dental office is in a desert, where there are no other dental offices Within 5 miles. This is one reason Madison pine dental is getting so much business - there is no immediate competition. I can not brag about their services - what dentist can't do simple extractions. Humans make mistakes and this manager needs a reality check about their services and training on how to solve problems made by the dentists. read more

I wish I could leave a review without stars, they misdiagnosed me gave me antibiotics and a rinse and that masked the pain for 2 weeks. When the pain came back it was 20 times worse than before. Anyway I found a real dentist @ 1st family dental diagnosed my problem sent me to a specialist and I'm on my way back to normal Thanks to Dr. Abboud @ 1st Family and Dr. Termini @ Lincoln Park Dental Specialist they rock.
