We had dealt with so much drama with details it was so nice to know that we had an experienced and talented photographer capturing our special day. I was blown away by the moments she captured!!! Even now I have so many of the pictures on display in my home and will always cherish them, especially the ones of my mom and I. Several of those moments were proudly on display at her memorial because Della was able to capture the beauty and happiness of that day in a way that truly sets her apart as an artist. Even now when people ask me I always recommend her services and constantly receive compliments on how gorgeous my photos are. She is also such a humble and sweet person which made taking photos even easier. My husband is not the most photogenic person and is the kind of guy that when you tell him to smile he is reminiscent of those forced kindergarten photos but she made him feel comfortable and just let us enjoy each other so that he didn't have to force anything. Not just anyone has that gift but she definitely does. In the time leading up to the wedding she was so patient with all my questions and she responded so quickly to anything we needed. The day of the wedding she and her assistant were the biggest assets a bride could ask for! She was there before any of the bridal party got there, she helped my husband and the men get prepped, she was so organized and just went above and beyond! The pictures were absolutely gorgeous, which was so important to us because when all is said and done, that is what you're left with forever! If you can afford it, you HAVE TO get an Italian wedding album! She got all the pictures up in a timely manner and was so great with all of the ordering from me and my guests! Everything Della shoots is incredible. There are so many things that can (and do) go wrong when it comes to a wedding, but she made everything amazing. My flower girl was a little monster that whole day (she was 2 years old at the time) but based on what Della was able to capture, she looked like an angel. It is a true testiment to her talent and how in tune she is with what is going on that allows her to capture the most beautiful moments. Even though I live in another state, we will definitely be using Della again anytime we need professional photos done! I can't express enough how much we love her!

I'm updating this review because I recently received another promotional text from her business advertising holiday mini sessions, and it reminded me that this situation was never resolved. I would personally not recommend booking with this photographer, especially if you have young children or are coordinating a family. Things happen with kids, traffic, and getting an entire family ready. Based on my experience, there was very little flexibility or grace when there was confusion surrounding our session time--even though we were at the beach at 5:50 for what we understood to be a 6:00 PM session. What continues to bother me most is that no photography service was ultimately provided, yet the entire $175 payment was kept, and I was asked to pay an additional $125 to reschedule. Almost a year later, my opinion has not changed. I wish I had known how this situation would be handled before I booked, which is why I'm leaving this update for other families to consider before paying in advance.
