My kids, partner and I have been going here for years and pretty satisfied, but I have a high bar because my uncle was my first dentist until he retired, and he was a great dentist. But Dr. Kaveh blew my mind today. I was in a bike accident a few days ago and smashed up my face pretty badly (in the hospital for a couple of days). He and his team saw me as soon as I got out, and they were so much gentler than the dentist at the hospital as they inspected and did X-rays. They also set me up with an oral surgeon. THEN Dr. Kaveh met me at the oral surgeon's office to make sure everything went smoothly, and I'm so glad he did because although the surgeon did a good job, he didn't know me and wasn't as good at answering my questions as Dr. Kaveh was. ALSO Dr. Kaveh then met me back at home and helped me get my retainer in, which I was scared to do and it did hurt going in but it has made my mouth feel so much better since. Every office visit has been smooth, friendly, efficient, clean, high tech, and helpful but this was seriously beyond 5 stars. Cannot recommend enough!!! read more

My husband and I have been patients at Madison Smile Solutions for years, and we've always been treated with the utmost care and professionalism. Dr. Kaveh and the entire team are incredibly personable--we've trusted them through some of our biggest life milestones, from whitening our teeth for our wedding to receiving prenatal dental care and now navigating parenthood. At my most recent cleaning, I had to bring our two-month-old daughter with me. She was extremely fussy, and I was feeling overwhelmed. Trish, Dr. Kaveh's wife and an amazing hygienist, stepped in without hesitation--holding and feeding our baby a bottle so I could make it through my appointment. The worst experience I've ever had in a dentist office. Please avoid this dentist. I went to this office having pain in my lower right jaw. I was told that there are five teeth with problems! One in lower right jaw, one in lower left jaw, and three in upper right jaw. I was told that two of the teeth on the upper right jaw require crowns. I should add that I had been to another dentist in April, 10 months before this visit. I go to the office to get work done on the tooth located on lower right, since it was the source of the problem. After the session, I realized that he has worked on the tooth in front of it! Unbelievable mistake that you only see in movies. During the visit he asked the nurse if today he should work on the teeth on upper right jaw too. An obvious indicator that he hadn't read the files. After this, I sent my x-rays to another dentist and I was told that only one tooth in the top jaw "might" at the future need crown, while one definitely doesn't need a crown! read more

I've held off to write this for quite a while. I had a deal for a cleaning and the counter woman was very nice. My hygienist was also very nice. She talked to me and listened and shared relevant conversation. She cleaned my teeth effectively and was uber pleasant. The dentist ran with the theme of niceness and was polite during the cleaning. I was told that more dental work was needed in the near future. After my teeth are bright and shiny, another nice woman sat me down and explained on detail what I needed done and then I was told the cost. I said I would consider it and let them know. Since my appointment I have gotten several calls and post cards letting me know that they would like my business. I would consider them again but they're more expensive than other local dentistries. (+$100 more just for the average tooth cleaning) read more

I went to this dental office a few months ago. Everyone was very friendly but, for some reason I had a really negative feeling. They use very underhanded sales tactics and I do not accept that from a medical clinic. I was told that I had gum disease and that I should have a procedure that would cost me $1700. I told them I didn't have that kind of money. They continued to call and text even after I told them not to. Then out of the blue I had a phone message from them saying "this is Madison Smile Solutions and you need to call us right away!". They called me at work so I thought it had to do with work but, when I called back, they were just trying to get me to come in. So, I went to a different dentist for an exam and was told that I certainly did not have gum disease. I guess my instincts were right about this place! read more

I have been going to Smile Solutions for over 3 years, and my experiences with them have been positive. Some notes: *The office always looks welcoming and tidy, and their equipment is all very modern. *The staff, as well as dentist Dr. Kavegh, are always extremely warm and chatty. I never feel rushed out the door. *They also send out lots of reminders before your appointment, via text and email, so that you won't forget you're going to see them. Along with that, they also honor appointment times; I have never had to wait in the waiting room for more than about 5 or 10 minutes (and I might have been early on one of those occasions). *It seems that every holiday season they offer some kind of deal (usually 50% off) on an oral health product. Last year I got a night guard for $300, and this year I got a teeth whitening kit for $50. *I've had two minor cavities since I've been going to Dr. Kavegh, and both times he performed the most minimally invasive procedure that he could with them, not giving me novocaine, which would have been unnecessary. My only less-than-positive note would be that the location, while being right on Odana off of the Beltline, can be hard to spot right away, being kind of tucked in between a couple of more visible businesses. Unfortunately I lost all my teeth in my upper jaw and chose to opt for implants and a prosthesis. It was a long and often uncomfortable -never painful - process. After 6 months I'm a very satisfied patient with well-fitting teeth, they look amazing, translucent, healthy. Kavegh and his staff were always friendly and polite, ready to help, send out lots of reminders. I had a tooth extraction and bone graph done yesterday in preparation for implant. I cracked the tooth so this was not a planned event. It's one day later and I'm amazed that I have zero pain.
