This guy David is a crook looking to profit off others misfortune. I took my car here after my cat was stolen and this guy sat on my car for weeks every day I would go by and ask if he inspected it and if he sent the report to insurance and nothing for weeks when he finally did send a report without inspecting it he lazily told my insurance that the whole engine was broken even though I had been driving it and drove it up to his shop. After that he tried to bill me 4700$ in storage fees for the 2 weeks car was there obviously didn't tell me about any storage fees when I brought the car in. This dude is a crook and was no help to my situation he sat on the car doing nothing while I was out of work ultimately loosing my job. Hopefully this saves someone else the headache and they choose any other mechanic I can't imagine anyone is worse than this crook read more

I called the number provided on Yelp to inquire about a smog check. A lady answered and told me they were open. I went in person only to be greeted by closed doors and a jam packed garage full of cars. How are customers supposed to even get in there with their vehicles? Wasted my time and lied to me. Took my 09 Jag XF because battery would drain overnight. He charged me $150 for diagnostics and, two days later, told me it would cost $4500 to repair. I took the car to another shop to get a second opinion. They showed me that my existing battery had a leak and was not holding the charge. they replaced the battery, charged me $200 for the battery and diagnosis. Car is running perfectly ever since. Me and my brother drove out to the area to buy a car which we thought was decent. After test driving it and talking we didn't find any major concerns and bought it. Then, as soon as we hopped on the freeway back home, the car started to overheat and we couldn't make it back. I took it to the nearest auto repair shop which was Mads for an inspection and he told me my radiator was broken and needed a new one. Taking a gamble on this place without looking for reviews or anything, they gave me a fair price and fixed it a few hours later. The car was running like a champ!! The owner was a very funny and kind guy along with his wife. I got quality work for a decent price. Drove the car back home (1 hour away) with 0 issues and no overheating problems. MADS took care of my wife's Toyota Camry well into its 14 year. We replaced that car with 2015 Altima which he has also serviced. My car is 2004 350Z and Dave has provided honest and timely service over the lifetime of my beloved Z Last week we were having our house fumigated and when the tenting crew arrived it was time for us to leave, except the Altima wouldn't start. We had our Auto Club jump it and realized the battery had expired almost exactly to its 3 years guarantee. With our Sam's Club now closed, we went to Costco,where we learned they only sell batteries, they don't install them. Its 7.30 am on a Wednesday. We called MADS, took the car over and then had to force them to take some payment for the work,which given the fact that the battery was leaking, was no simple job. Dave has fixed my car when I had deadlines working over the weekend to get it done. Dave and his wife represent what everyone hopes for in car repair. When your car breaks, its always a moment of some anxiety. Having a honest neighborhood auto repair service is pretty rare today. I have brought my 2000 4Runner to him for brakes, smog checks, and most recently a whole bunch of stuff including digging deep into the engine and fixing up my transmission. Amazing! He took the time to clean up my engine bay, incluing the battery, and he even fixed an irregular electrical problem. Now my rig is ready for another 250,000 miles! Alright let's face it, we all have car problems when it comes to cars. New or old. I have a 2012 Honda Accord, and I'm a chick. I can't do oil changes nor understand when there is a strange light that appears in my dash board. I have been bring my car, my family and friends to this place for many years. I trust this place. They are honest, and reliable, and wayyy cheaper than bring it to the dealer. The mechanic name is David, and he's great. He's licensed certified for smog, auto body, and he's very detailed on getting your car working right. He has used only Honda parts on my car, and never after market. That's key. I was involved in a really bad car accident this year, and I brought my car and they took care of me. He handled my rental, my tow, and dealing with the insurance adjusters. My car was out of the shop within 25 days after the accident. My car runs as if it was never hit. Just like new! My advice, if you need a good, reliable, affordable mechanic, bring it to Mads Auto Repair. And plus, the family that owns the business are cute and personable. I hope this helps you guys! Goodluck.
