I bought an AL85 4 weeks ago. It no longer sees the battery. I went back to the store and the owner said he cannot exchange it. It burnt my hand and doesn't work. I paid 30.00$ more than what I could buy it for online because I wanted it right away. This place is over priced and the owner obviously doesn't care about his customer base. The staff isn't bad as the person helping me tried to do what ever they could. Even called the owner. It is the ownership that is the issue. While the store and selection itself is cool, I go elsewhere and/or online now. Every time (3 total) I've been in there it's been nothing but frustrating. One star if you want to go and buy something because you have a life outside of this store. Five stars if your entire life is nothing but vaping and talking about vaping 24/7 - then you will love this place. This store is essentially a dude who likes to sit around vaping and wants a place to do it with his friends, but his mom won't let him do it in the basement, so he opened a store. It's basically a spot for you to go in and talk to the clerk about how cool vaping is, and obviously they're happy to do so on the clock. Which is great customer service, until you have people in line. Literally every time I've been in there, there was just one person in line and there was a 20, 25 minute wait each time. The clerk refuses to even look at you until it's your turn. So basically the clerk and the customer are talking about how banana-ish the banana juice is, and how great vaping is, and this funny story about his uncle's cousin - they aren't really selling anything - while customers with money (me) who knows what he wants (has it in his hand waiting) walks out when I don't even get eye contact after 1/2 hour. I've seen others walk out also, though apparently management doesn't know or doesn't get it. I've been around smoke shops before and understand the one on one chatting and personal service - but most will excuse themselves for a moment to go assist the person at the register waiting to actually buy - or continue the conversation as you check them out. So anyway - I guess that's great customer service if you actually make it to the register. I don't fault them for THAT. But if you want to run this way you need a clerk on staff to at least conduct basic transactions and let the other guy socialize and mingle. 3 Strikes and they're out. I now get what I need online (cheaper / better selection anyway) and rare instances I need something in pinch - there are plenty of smoke shops around the City. read more

Newer Update: I went here at around 11am on a Tuesday as I was in the area... There was an older gentleman working, and I asked for a battery to try some of the flavors. I couldn't find a blue raspberry flavor, so I asked, and he thought for a minute, and said "We don't have blue raspberry, but try this one..." It was spot on for what I wanted in a blue rasp. vape. Needless to say, I bought a 50ml bottle. It seems like that one experience the first time I went that everyone was having a bad day and showing it. I have been there twice since, and it has been nothing but positive. I've purchased both TopVapor juices, and premium ones. Just don't get the Mad Torro, or Clove... They sometimes have great bargains in the buckets near the premium juice samples... Like today, they had Cr3am (Oreo cookie) at a whopping 30% off!!! read more

I visit this shop nearly a yr ago and bought a Kangertech Pro, older model. It still works great today and, there are coils sold in various shops. I can at the least say, I wasn't sold a bad product. During my visit, the rep seemed friendly and, a little informative about some products. There wasn't a big selection at the time as there maybe today. It was a well kept shop, prices for some accessories was pricey compared to other places. There was a decent selection of ejuice but, I only needed a clearomizer or tank. read more

Horrible experiance. The owner for his credit seems to care about his customers. It is unfortunate that his employees do not share the same enthusiasm as the owner. There liquids are subpar, the majority of which are made in house. However compared to other "budget" minded it lacks significantly. The selection of e-cigs is good, however the employees show no interest in spending time with thier customers. Instead walking away mid sentence and engaging the regulars over the new customer. Where the average price of a box mod is 80-100$ and higher, you would think they would show new business at least the same courtesy as the existing base. They succeed imho only due to lack of quality shops and tough local zoning. In case it isn't obvious they are also not a franchise of Mad Vape sharing no affiliation beyond the name. Okay so I wrote a pretty horrible review about this place before and I have to change it after making another visit there today. When I went today there were two different people running the shop than the last two times I went. The first 2 times it was a younger guy that was a miserable A hole. This time it was an older guy who was the owner and a younger female who was very nice and knowledable. I had a pretty good experience this time and even got a good deal on some juice, got 80ml of juice for $19 cant beat that. Also they have decent prices on some nice clones of a lot of popular mech mods. They got some nice merchandise here and I honestly will probly buy my first mech mod setup from them even though it will run me more than if I ordered it online. So final say is if you going to go to this place and you want to talk to someone about anything to do with there products or your gear and want informative friendly responses I would call and make sure the owner or the female worker is working that day. Dont go in if its the younger male employee unles you just lookin to walk it buy somthing you already know about and walk out without so much as a have a nice day read more

Same experience others here have had with the staff. Mid-afternoon, new customer, and they cared more about talking amongst themselves and some select customers. Also asked for a specific coil for my Nautilus, and was told another worked just as well in it so I went on the advice they gave me. Nope - it was designed completely opposite the requirements of my tank and I flooded two coils, both times after leaving the house for the day and not bringing a spare coil with me. There are better local shops out there. Stay away from the chain-store experience and take the time to find one. You'll thank yourself when you are treated like a customer and not a bottom line by employees with some marginal knowledge of certain products. read more

I've only been here a few times but I was super impressed with the service. Not only is the staff helpful but the prices are right. I drove across the city last night to grab some liquid and coils thinking the store was open until 9. I was wrong. Even though they had closed almost 10 minutes prior to my arrival, the staff was welcoming and willing to help. I will certainly continue to do business with these awesome people. read more

UPDATE!! So since my last review, I decided that I didn't want to visit madvapes anymore because of my several experiences, it's been a while, I've been going to another shop, but a couple weeks ago I was out of juice, my other store doesn't carry it anymore so I decided to go against what I had said and went... I just want to let you guys know I'm happy I did, my experience was a thousand times more pleasant, krissy, one of the girls that works there usually serves me now, but not only did she remember me, but she asked me how my newborn son was doing and how my wife was, after a few months of not going, she remembered that. Just that alone there was enough to make me feel welcomed and appreciated, also the owner Kevin, was cool enough to give me 15% off the atomizer I wanted to buy, the juices are now superb, they carry "Lost Art" brand juice which is awesome, and not only that, but if they're out of your preferred nicotine level, they can take a 0mg which they usually always have, and they can add the nicotine for you, that pretty much guarantees they'll have what you want I'm very pleased with the changes Kevin has made, and I hope to see the good keep coming. Definitely recommend madvapes once again, Kevin listened to us(his customers) and made the changes we wanted, I'm very pleased with your crew now Kevin, don't change them! read more

Evolve juice is delicious, they yet again always have the newest and best mods in stock. There house juice is one of the only places that actually have good house juice. Prices are Great! Products are average. Service is ok depending on if you spend money or not. Madvapes is actually part of a chain of stores from down south. Given this little tidbit you would think that they would bring their A GaMe. Unfortunately they don't. Everything about the shop is mediocre. The staff definitely make or brake a shop. These guys (except for the owner which is ok) look like they just crawled out of the grave. Pure misery. On the plus side you can get a couple decent juices for cheap so it's not all bad. They carry their own house juice which is alright if you are down to your last $20. Iv tried a few and like their version of "Rice Krispy Treat" the best. Fair warning thow, their juices are very alcoholic so let them sit overnight with the cap of. So as far the inventory is concerned they are about average. They carry a few of the expensive juices and have a small selection of Mods and RDA's to choose from. Not the best but also not the worst. My conclusion of this shop is that it's just average at best. Of the owner highered some people with soul and charisma than the place would definitely be better. The number one reason I go to a VAPE shop aside from their juices is customer service. This place looses on that end. So final grade - C+ read more

Just don't go here, just don't. MadVapes has a pretty decent reputation in the vaping community, but this location is just horrible. As a person who was finally able to quit smoking cigarettes by switching to vaping it troubles me that people who may want to look into switching will have to deal with these folks. They act like they don't want to be there, they have zero customer relation skills, trying to engage them in conversation is really difficult. They are extremely over priced on just about everything they carry. Do not buy a starter kit from these folks - you can save at least $30 by buying online I've been there four times now and each experience was equally disappointing. I wouldn't buy e-liquid there again, what they do have for e-liquid is pretty damn awful compared to what is available online. In fairness the Lion's Head Brand (MadVapes Corporate Branded) isn't awful, it's just really not very good, weak flavor and again over priced for what it is. let me start off by saying that if they did not have so many flavors that they would not be getting a single star. I went there yesterday and the staff was completely inattentive in an empty store. there is one employee with gages who somewhat helpful, but when I went to purchace my e-juice I stood at the register as the other guy with tatts and a flat brim just sat there and cleaned his vape for ten minutes. So basically, he just stood there doing nothing while I was trying to purchase something. How he got a job there in the first place is beyond me. He just smoked his stupid vape like a child showing of his toy and ignored me for a solid ten minutes until the employee with the gages was nice enough to notice his absent minded coworker and ring me up. As I mentioned earlier, THE STORE WAS EMPTY, there was no reason to ignore your only customer. Do yourself a favor, order vapor products off of ebay, they are cheaper and you don't have to deal with complete moron space cases. read more

Just went in to try my first Vape. Previously went to another Vape location that said they would open at 11am but we're not open (I arrived at 11:45 and waited till noon). This store was open and visibly clean. I have a couple of girlfriends who have been vaping so I already received some advise prior to my visit. Both of their employees were busy with previous customers but immediately asked to help me when they finished. I explained that I was new to this, my sales person was extremely helpful. Gave me a battery & told me to try favors. I asked recommendations and he not only recommended but helped me to locate what I needed. When I could not find the flavor I was looking for they immediately made a new tester so I could try it. When I finished testing I was helped to set up my Vape and given advise on cleaning and refilling. He also helped me with settings and advise on my nicotine levels (after a review of my previous smoking habits). He didn't try to oversell me and even advised to get used to it before I try new parts & tips. Very helpful. Can't comment on the Vape as I just started today but I would definitely update after a couple of weeks. I would recommend them to anyone new to this experience. 4 stars is due to me not vaping long enough to rate the actual Vape unit. So far I am a fan!! read more

SUPER overpriced, employees are rude and not even slightly helpful. stood at the counter for 20 minutes while the two employees working completely ignored my existence and instead were way too focused on getting pizza delivered (from papa ginos 2 buildings down) to offer any sort of help. absolutely nothing is price labeled, and when you do ask for prices, things are 3 to 4 times as expensive as they are online. granted shops have to make a profit, but other worcester like vaporize and House of Vapes sell the same items for almost half the cost. my honest opinion, dont ever go here. go to house of vapes on chandler st, the owner is super nice and helpful (fixed my girlfriends mod just yesterday for free without us even making a purchase) and sells things fairly priced and makes great house juice. read more

Great place, great staff and very helpful. I bought the SmokTech TFV4 tank and some leaking at first, but I might have that worked through now. Great selection of tanks, mods and tons of accessories for whatever you need or are looking for. Prices are reasonable, not cheap or off the wall expensive. Mad vapes is the first Vape shop I came across when I first started to Vape Vape and I did not know a lot about it and I am the owner of the store is not very polite and whenever I did and whenever I did buy something he did not explain how to use it. And almost everything I did buy from the store broke within a week or less and all of the Jews that he carries is a generic. The juices were not that good at all and am he never explained anything about them to me as someone new to vaping. And then when I would come in and show him my broken things that I just recently bought he would come off like it was my fault and I am too bad for me. After so long and so many things broken, I came in with a bag of all my broken things that I had Botton from his store with his mad Vape label on them and all he did was give me a $10 pen to make up for all the broken stuff I bought from him. So basically he replaced hundreds of dollars of broken items with a $10 pen. After that I told him that I would never come back to his store and that I would pass the word along that he was on the definitely the worst Vape store in the Worcester area. The one good thing about his store were his other employees that work that were very good guys and very helpful. So if you do decide to go to mad babes try to deal with the normal employee and not the owner Kevin. Good luck and good vaping. read more

Incredibly rude staff, barely answer the phones when called to ship, are unwilling to help in a situation where either USPS failed to get the package to the right place, or the store sent the wrong address. Either way, no help was offered and when calling the company, you had to hold for 10+ minutes and thats IF you got someone to answer the phone. Only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the juice they make is actually pretty good. Just wish service was better. read more

I really wish I could give Mad Vapes zero stars because that's exactly what they deserve. The customer service sucks and they could care less if you need help. I don't need help when I go into vape stores other than their opinion on juices. I asked one guy what kind of juices he would recommend after I told him what I was looking for and all he has to say what, "it's all preference" then continued to walk away. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT THE WORST PART. I vape 6mg of nicotine and I know exactly what it should taste and feel like. I bought a 15ml of Milk and honey and walked out and filled it up when I got home. The first hit had me coughing because it was NOWHERE near 6mg. It felt like 20mg easy. I went back in a week later and with my luck the only guy working is "its all preference" guy. I tell him what the deal is and my juice is looking very dark for such a light nicotine juice. He gives me another one and I leave and they fucked up again. I go back in about 4 days later and luckily the manager and some chick is working. The manager says sorry and gives me another bottle. SAME PROBLEM. I try to tell the guy that the juice is way too strong and told him to try it. He tells me it tastes fine to him after I've had at least 5 people start coughing because my juice is too strong. The chick looks at me like I'm an idiot and the manager gave me the "this guy has no idea what he's talking about" vibe and I just left. THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY BUY ALL 0mg NICOTINE AND FILL UP THE BOTTLE THEMSELVES TO SAVE MONEY. When you do this the nicotine doesn't blend well with the juice. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THIS HORRIBLE EXCUSE FOR A VAPE STORE ANY MORE BUSINESS. Heed my warning all who go there. I would recommend VAPORIZE OR GREENZONE. Two great stores. read more

This place totally sucks, I've been going here for the last year to buy supplies when I forget to get them online. Their prices are almost double of ANY website, and all of their machines are marked up about 40% more than what you can get online. They don't stand behind any products they sell and have very little knowledge about them. I have bought a few different kits there because it's hard to tell what they are online. Their return policy sucks. Basically once you pay for it your stuck with it even if it's broken right out of the box, and if you tried to use it they won't even talk to you about it. They have 4 or 5 employees and none of them are managers. They all say that you have to talk to the owner, and he only comes in 2 days a week during the day. Don't ask for a call back because he won't call you. I tried to return a machine that I bought just for the battery (because they don't sell spare batteries, just so you have to buy the whole kit) it was $85 bucks. I told the person why I was buying it and she said if I could find spare batteries online then I could return it as long as I didn't use it. I got the batteries online and went to return it the next day. They said the owner is the only one who does returns. I went there 2 more time to return the machine during the time he was supposed to be there and he was never there. So I left my phone number and he never called me back. Finally cornered the employee and made her call the owner, he said ok he will return for store credit which I was ok with. ( I like their juice ) I needed new coils so I was going to buy two packs of them. As she was about to ring me out and issue a store credit card of $21 i though that seemed quite low for returning an $85 machine. It was $38 for the coils and a 15% restocking fee. ( which is not posted anywhere in the store or on the receipt ) Really $13 to take the box and put it back in the shelf right behind the counter. I was told when I first bought it as long as I didn't use it I could get a full refund. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THAT STORE EVER AGAIN!!!!! I have spent a lot of money in that place and have never really bitched about anything even when I got coils that didn't work or juice that tasted weird.
