Response to Candace from Exovations: I never received an…read moreoffer to replace the sliding doors with French doors even for an extra fee. Oscar simply told me that it was not possible to change the order. Not sure what you heard on your end, but that's the truth. I would have been open to that. Also, the door I received is not custom, it is a standard size, only the framework around the door is "custom" as is ANY door frame. Here is the language from my contract: "Re-frame the opening to accept a door: 5/0 x 6/8" And from Google: Yes, a 5/0 x 6/8 (60 inches wide by 80 inches tall) is a standard size for Neuma's sliding doors. Neuma offers this specific size as part of its standard offerings, particularly for its Bypass Gliding Doors." So actually, switching my order to French doors would have simply involved extra paperwork. Update: I am lowering my review to one star because Exovations refuses to address the door issue. After a few months it has become apparent that I can't use the heavy glass patio doors they installed. I am disabled and over 65. It is very difficult for me to pull open the heavy door due to a spine injury, and I have tripped on the large threshold. I sent an email to them before installation, stating I needed the door opening to be at least 40" wide to accommodate a wheelchair, and they gave me one that opens to only 22" wide. I recently emailed them to ask that they change out the patio door to French doors, which I wanted in the first place, and they refused. It will now cost me thousands of dollars to have the door replaced.

Evocations made our house repairs a breeze. We needed facia, soffit, siding repairs. John was…read moreincredibly knowledgeable, taking the time during our initial meetings to explain everything thoroughly. He listened to what we wanted, offered practical options, and made sure we were comfortable with each decision. Chris, our project manager, was just as great--easy to work with and always on top of things. The crews that came out were professional, courteous, and left the worksite spotless each day. We were genuinely impressed with the workmanship, attention to detail, and overall quality--from start to finish. Even the dumpster driver went the extra mile by emptying our personal trashcan before hauling the dumpster away. Evocations delivered stand-up work in every sense, and we'll definitely be using them again for future renovations.

We did a wrapping of our home in vinyl, new siding, new dormer windows, and new gutters with…read morecovers. The salesman who came wrote all this down and got us to sign off on it, then came up with we don't have your color of siding in vinyl and told me he would have to put concrete board and paint it with a twenty five year paint. So he had to write a new contract and that would be the only change in the contract. When he came back to get it signed he was in a hurry so we didn't have time to read it and trusted him. After the job got started very late to what they had said, we found he had made several changes in our contract all to help the company save money. We had to fight tooth and nail to get what we were promised at the first by the salesman. Then they put my gutters up and put a cheap insert in it that would not work for a house in the woods. So I tried every way I could to get them to put the inserts in we were promised but they flatly refused. After the BBB got involved they had me to call the Rx company who was the manufacture of the inserts and they were so nice to us and ended up sending a contractor from Atlanta to put the inserts in our gutters that were the ones we were suppose to get in the first place. They did not charge me one penny to make this right. Exovations work was good but they advertised stress free experience with them and I want others to know that is an absolute lie. We were under stress the whole time they were here. And their two week job ended up taking real close to two months. They advertised being a Christian company, please don't be fooled like we were. They truly are wolves in sheep's clothing and tried to get out of everything they could as the job went on. My advise, find another contractor and read reviews before hiring them. Thanks

It's rare to see a contractor with only positive ratings these days, so choosing Tom and Jerry's…read morewas a no-brainer for that alone. I needed to replace the roof on a new home for my son. I obtained a few estimates from different contractors, and they were not the cheapest, but they were reasonably priced with far better reviews than the cheaper option, which is another reason I chose them. Thomas is highly responsive to communication, which again is quite unusual with most contractors in my experience, so that was a nice plus too. They provided evidence of insurance upon request. We paid a 50% deposit to get on the schedule and I was able to pay that by credit card without an extra fee, which was appreciated since it allowed me to get reward points on the purchase. A crew of three guys came out to the house early in the morning and completed the job just before dark. They did a phenomenal job. Each step was documented with pictures to show where rotten decking needed to be replaced, and an explanation of everything. Despite already being reasonably priced, Thomas gave us a nice discount for the extra decking on the final invoice, which was a happy surprised and very much appreciated. They also cleaned up very well after themselves. If you need a new roof or any kind of roof work, Tom and Jerry Roofing is the best there is without a doubt!

I highly recommend Firebrand Roofing and owner Boaz Clark!…read more Boaz has worked with both my home in Chamblee and my mother's home in Madison, Georgia, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of service he provides. At my mother's home, he went above and beyond by meeting with the insurance adjuster multiple times, documenting the hail damage with excellent photos, and advocating tirelessly to help get the roof approved for insurance coverage. His knowledge of the claims process and willingness to fight for his customers truly set him apart. At my home, Boaz inspected my roof, provided fair and detailed quotes for chimney repairs, deck staining, and roof washing, which we'll be moving forward with this fall. While he was already on the roof, he even took the time to perform a complimentary service by blowing leaves and debris out of the roof valleys around the chimney. That kind of attention to detail and customer care is rare. Boaz and the entire Firebrand Roofing team are professional, responsive, honest, and genuinely care about their customers. They show up when they say they will, communicate clearly, and do the little things that make a big difference. If you're looking for a roofing company you can trust, I wholeheartedly recommend Firebrand Roofing. You won't be disappointed!

We had a fantastic experience with Firebrand Roofing and can't recommend them highly enough. From…read morethe very beginning, they were incredibly honest and straightforward--something that really stood out compared to other companies we spoke with. They never tried to upsell or push unnecessary work, and only recommended what they would feel comfortable doing on their own home, which gave us a lot of confidence in their integrity. Bobby Strong was especially helpful throughout the entire process. He personally came out to our home multiple times to make sure everything was exactly right and that we were completely satisfied. That level of care and attention is rare. The final product looks great, and the service we received was excellent from start to finish. If you're looking for a trustworthy roofing company that truly stands behind their work, Firebrand Roofing is the way to go!
