I love this Restaurant the food is delicious and excellent friendly employees. The three of us went there for lunch today . Our server Flo was fantastic and very efficient and positive lady. The bus boy that brought out hot bread and butter was very friendly and helpful his name was caesar. We really enjoyed the food and wonderful employees that waited on us. Than you we were celebrating a Birthday flo thank you

Bread was top tier. Waitress gave us a free dessert card for our next visit. Proportions were good and food was good! I filled up on bread too much lol

We have been coming to Maggiano's for years now. I will say this last experience I have mixed feelings. They redid this location it has more of an upscale modern look on the inside. The food also tastes different. No more bread with olive oil and vinegar (although I'm sure you can ask for this on the side) but instead they give salted rolls with butter, equally as good as the previous bread they used to give. The pesto ravioli has a different taste to it, before it would be a creamy Alfredo pesto (which I loved) with the new updated menu it's still a pesto ravioli, not as creamy since it isn't mixed with Alfredo but rather a more nutty taste to it since it has hints of pistachio. I was a little disappointed with my pastas sauce to pasta ratio - it was light on the sauce. My husband got the exact same thing and his had plenty of sauce. I did see they brought back the butter cake but we were too full to try it again. Overall we always enjoy coming here, the food is always yummy, and staff are always nice and helpful.

Forgot to take pictures because we started eating right away. The food was really good! They recently remodeled the restaurant and it looks so much nicer. The new booths, hardwood floors, and updated look make the whole place feel fresh without losing its cozy vibe. I had the Rigatoni D and it was delicious. The Chicken Marsala was also really good. They brought out their new honey bread with sea salt butter, and honestly, that was so good too. We came here on the Fourth of July and had a great experience. Everything from the food to the atmosphere was enjoyable, and we'll definitely be coming back.

Came here after work on a Friday night during happy hour. The staff were graciously welcoming and our waitress was amazing! Located at South Coast Plaza with its own parking area. I just wish their happy hour menu had more options. The appetizers and the Rigatoni D's were very delicious, creamy, and the portions were huge for the entrees.

Stopped by one of my favorite Italian spots just for dessert and went all in! We couldn't decide, so we ordered three desserts and a dessert cocktail to share and everything was AMAZING! Honestly, I've never had a single thing here that I didn't love. Perfect place to end the night on a sweet note

This was some of the best Italian food I've ever had. The whole experience from the service, ambience and even the free bread was amazing. It was as good as any high end Italian restaurant around. I highly recommend.

First time here. I ordered the Chicken Marsala as did one other person in our party of 6. I saw lobster pasta, crab cakes, steak, spaghetti with meatballs and meat sauce which all looked fantastic! We were celebrating a birthday and decided on the stuffed mushrooms, truffle bread & calamari for appetizers. They also served us complimentary bread for the table. Butter cake and tiramisu were recommended as desserts and we were also given a complimentary dessert for the birthday girl. We ordered a bit too many though so some got to take a dessert home. The bill came out to approximately $80 pp, which I felt was worth the amount of food we got. Many, including myself, had "to go" boxes also. Each meal doesn't only come with pasta. There is a hearty amount of protein accompanying the pasta. We were sat by the back kitchen door, so the ambiance could have been better, but we didn't complain. Our server was pleasant and attentive as was the manager who I asked for an extra copy of the bill. I could see why this is a local favorite of anyone who chooses Italian food as their preference.

Haven't been to this place since the renovations so I was glad to finally have the chance to check it out. The dining area has a chic vibe and the staff is as friendly as ever. We got red sangria to drink and parmesan stuffed mushrooms for a starter. Our entrees are lasagna and mushroom ravioli. We got butter cake for dessert. Red Sangria- Sweet and refreshing. The alcohol content in it is pretty generous which is always appreciated. Parmesan Stuffed Mushrooms- This was a good starter. The mushrooms are plump a and juicy with a creamy cheese filling. Finished with a topping of breadcrumbs for a hint of crunch. Lasagna- Meaty and filling. The sauce was rich and worked well with the creamy white sauce in between layers. Love the cheesiness in each bite. Mushroom Ravioli- If you're a mushroom lover like me, this dish is for you! The ravioli is tender with a generous mushroom filling. The sauce is creamy with a hint of sweetness. Butter Cake- Such a tasty way to end the meal! The cake base is custardy and rich. Served with a berry compote that adds freshness and acidity to the cake. Finished with fresh whipped cream. Great experience overall!

Went to celebrate a birthday and it was a good time! I will say the bolognese was good but not the best I've had but does the trick. The cream based pastas were really yummy the mushroom ravioli my dad had was really yummy and he changed the sauce pesto cream sauce. They give a little desert the cookies were tasty a lemon shortbread. Wasn't too fond of the sangria it was very sweet.

I decided to bring my mom here for Mother's day and enjoyed all of it! We made a reservation about a week ago just incase there was a long wait. I highly recommend making a reservation before going because when we arrived, the line was down to the parking lot. It was packed! We instantly got sat and our server, Alex, stopped by with some water and greeted us. We were informed on Mother's day, they have a set menu. It was 2 salads, 2 apps, 4 entrees and 3 desserts for $55 per person. This was a lot of food! We honestly got full after the apps hit. Everything was sooo delicious and yummy. Alex, was extremely nice and friendly throughout the entire experience. They were very busy and all the servers were running around so we understood if he fell behind. We felt bad because the table next to us was giving him a hard time and being rude about the menu and how they didn't like certain items on the menu yet Alex stayed very professional and helpful with them. 10/10 food and experience, i will forsure be back to try more food and cocktails and request Alex's section!

Had an early dinner reservation here for 4:45pm. We were greeted upon arrival and seated pronto (yay!). We came at shift change, but that didn't hinder the prompt service. Alex got us started with our drink order and shortly after that, had taken our food order. He handed us off to Tabitha, who was just as sweet for checking in on us throughout our dinner. Still had that warm, dimly lit interior I remembered from when we dined here many moons ago. The food we ordered was delicious and savory, and the tiramisu was the perfect ending to our dinner date. I'll let the pics do the rest. CHEERS and happy eating till next time...

    What is the dress code?

I have seen customers in shorts, customers coming after work in professional attire and customers celebrating special events dressed up. Relaxed dress code

Has anyone been there for family style dining since jan. 1, 2024? It looks like the family style menu has severely changed with less food and options.

    Didn't seem to family style

Is the Rigatoni Alla Vodka spicy? Does it taste good?

Not spicy! If you want it spicy, they have crushed red pepper shakers. I thought it was good! Not as creamy/milky/cheesy as other places, which I prefer :)

For the family-style, do they replenish the food if we are still eating & want more?

No. The food is portioned out so there is one serving per person of each dish ordered. With that said, their servings are very generous. We always bring food home when we go.

Is there a private dining room with a TV for projecting a powerpoint? How quiet is the room for doing a dinner seminar on a Tuesday or Thursday night?

It is best to check with the manager , she was so accommodated our needs and it was the weekend. When all doors close. Very private for our party.

Do they still have the deal for 2 people for $50? That was the best deal they had!

I don't remember if that was the price but a few months ago, I thought the meal for 2 was still there. They've had it for a long time.

Do you have live music? If so, what days/times? And what kind of music?

No live music here. Just great Italian food. If you want live music, then you need to buy tickets to a Pacific Synphony concert.

Do they still offer brunch on the weekends?

I have been there many times and there hasn’t been egg dishes .

    Is there a corkage fee?

    Yes, there's a corkage fee.

If I had a party of 13 are we allowed to still order off the regular menu?

Yes. They are known for family style dining.

Did they change the garlic bread?

We never order garlic bread but they do serve complimentary bread with their oil and balsamic vinegar.

If you order Family Style dining, is this unlimited? or just one serving of each dish per person?…

    It's unlimited.

Does this place still do happy hour? If yes, what days and times?

Hi Cyn! Yes, we still do Happy Hour. Currently, our Happy Hour is Monday-Friday from 3pm-6pm. We look forward to seeing you soon! Ciao!

Do they Gluten free secret menu?

HI Marium! We do offer gluten free options. All of our sauces and dressings are gluten free and we can make most our chicken dishes gluten free. We even have a gluten free penne.

    Is there delivery?

Yes, I think rhere is. I know pick-up is available.

Any dairy free options? Can chefs accommodate?

    Yes they can!

Can they host large parties? Party of 30?

Yes they have multiple private rooms that can hold 30 or more people

    Do they require reservations?

They do take reservations but they are not required

    Do you take walk-in?

Yes they do, just be prepared to wait.

    Do they charge corking fee?

    Yes -its $15 a bottle

The caramel espresso martini was absolutely perfect--delicious, perfectly sweet, and exactly what I was hoping for. It definitely hit the spot. For dinner, I tried the chef's special: the fettuccine with scallops and mushrooms. Unfortunately, it was a bit disappointing for me because it was very bland. I ended up adding salt just to bring out some flavor. The scallops themselves were seasoned well and tasted great, and both the scallops and the pasta were cooked perfectly. The sauce had a wonderful, creamy texture--it just lacked flavor. I think it could have benefited from something cheesy, tangy, peppery, or simply a little more seasoning. Even with that, I'm still giving this place five stars because the service was outstanding. They genuinely listened to my feedback about the meal and went above and beyond to make things right, which says a lot about how much they care about their customers. This was my first visit, and I definitely plan on coming back to try one of their signature dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant overall. The extraordinary thing about the Pasta Sisters is that they offer house made pastas, which guarantees a higher price point, but offers unparalleled texture. The spaghetti has a "bite" that you get from a true "al dente" pasta. Their cheese tortellini were incredibly rich and cheesy, but a touch salty. The drawback of this location is that it's a ghost kitchen. You order it online and the order will be ready for you when you come in to pick it up. The location does not have seating, and you eat it at your own convenience. If you live/work locally, then this can be definitely worth checking out. Because I live out of town, I have to enjoy it either in my car, after a long drive home, or at my wife's office; however, I want to enjoy these $20 pastas in a restaurant, with wine and good company. It was my first time going there, so it's good to know in advance that there are cones set up where you can only enter on Rochester and only exit on Newport (at least that was the case when I went in Oct 2025). I then was instructed to check a specific locker right around the corner to pick up my order. My order was ready on time and the food tasted great, but I don't recall the last time I was this upset about the quantity for the price. I expected it to be crowded as usual and that parking would be insane. Fortunately, and surprisingly, there was plenty of parking. As we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by a hostess. When I observed the dining area of the restaurant, it was approximately thirty percent full. The bar contained about the same amount of occupants. We waited two minutes and the hostess took us to our table. Once we were seated, our server immediately came to our table to greet us and take our beverage order. When she came back with our waters, we both ordered the parmesean chicken sandwich. Our orders arrived and I realized I made a huge mistake as I didn't read what was included in the sandwich. I don't eat pork and prosciutto is included. I apologized to our server and told her about my error. She said it would not be an issue at all to make me a new sandwich without the prosciutto. Once my sandwich arrived, I dove in, and it was good! I wish the chicken was a little meatier and juicy, though. I also didn't really taste too much of the mozzarella and provolone. I love that melted cheese you get with the bite, but it sort of was lacking. The sauces were prevalent and tasty. It wasn't the best I've had, but still good, nonetheless. I had a side of salad and it was just a regular mixed green salad. The service was fantastic! Our server was extremely attentive and friendly. Sausage was perfectly firm and full of flavor, the sauce has pork and beef drippings from the meatballs made prior in the day...so full of flavor & deep in color that can only come from slow cooking. Our server asks if I preferred wine & a little chili in the sauce (heck yeah!) & the result was subtle & perfectly & robustly flavored. Left a nice soft warmth in my throat after each bite. My hubby ordered garlic bread, & it was buttery with spot on garlic & toasted to a nice crispness. We split the pasta entree and I had one sausage & he had two. Their espresso martinis are also a must-try. The bartenders definitely know what they're doing the drink had the perfect balance of bold espresso and smooth alcohol without either one overpowering the other. It was refreshing, well balanced, and one of the better espresso martinis I've had. I definitely recommend giving it a try!

Been wanting to come here for quite a while and it did not disappoint. Only wish we came sooner…read more Decided to sit in for the Caesar salad and take home the pizza for later. Chewy was our pleasant waiter, very friendly and attentive. Fresh cold water when we sat down and a nice short easy menu to peruse and decide from. No frills, no uneasy decisions. Simple greatness is all that's needed. I'm guessing every table gets the Caesar salad, which was a botttomless pile of fresh lettuce, tons of delicately grated smoothe Parmesan cheese, delicate crumbles of breadcrumbs, with an absolutely decadent Caesar dressing - pleasantly spread throughout the whole entire plate of goodness. Next time I will try the fresh loaf of bread sliced thick with a bowl of cherry tomatoes. Whoa that looked great. Every plate that walked by us whispered 'try me' next time!! Saved the salami Calabrese pizza for home directions on the box which provided the most perfect texture for a reheated pizza we've ever had. Delightful! The pizza. The crust. I can't even believe a whole table while we were eating there skipped the crust of the whole pie. You can't! That's a sin! Greatest sourdough pizza, dare I say delicate but hearty? Perfectly crisp yet soft where it's necessary. I can't wait to try more flavors. Such an adorable place at 'the Camp' -quaint yet plenty of seating outside too for a larger party. It's all you need for a perfect slice of heaven! Thank you Folks! We will definitely be back!

So so disappointed by this place. We were served pizza with a chemical, dish water taste. It was…read morevery noticeable in the dough and whole pizza, which tasted very chemically and much like the dirty, unfiltered type of water that you would get from a moldy sink at a sketchy place. It stunk too. We were theorizing that the dough was made with dirty water, but there was also a possibility the serving pan given to us was used unwashed. Honestly wish we were able to send it back, but there was no time for a remake as it took about 30-40 mins for it to come out in the first place. The Caesar is also very, very depressing. The dressing is missing authenticity and tastes so bland and like pure lemon, the croutons are crushed up crumbs, and it was very hard to get through for $20. We left it behind as a group of 4 with full plates. I literally got fast food fries after this to fill the disappointment and void, and I'm a health conscious eater. The only saving grace was the meatballs. They were very good, and sadly the first plate that came out as everything went downhill. Should've known as this was the only dish that stood out to us when we ate here a few years ago. We decided to give it another proper try but it does not live up to the hype at all. If you want high quality pizza with a variety of ingredients and Caesar salad, go down to X Eats inside Brewery X. Half the price of the Caesar here, and so much better. Theirs comes with proper dressing, fried capers, freshly grated pecorino, and delicious sourdough croutons made in house. The pizzas are about the same price range as here, but pepperoni is like $6 less than here, and they are much, much larger, fresh, and drool worthy.
