Positives: Decently skilled hairstylists and fair pricing for services. Negative: Appointment time means nothing to some hairstylists here. If hairstylist putting you down for appointments and is late for appointments for 30+ minutes each time (and don't even apologize for the delay) would frustrate you, this is truthfully not the salon for you. I wish they would value their customers' time. Sometimes it really feels like the appointment structure here works just like doctor visits. You can call ahead to make appointments, but there's no guarantee your stylist will be at the salon on the day of your appointment. When you're lucky, you'll receive a phone call the day of to notify you that your stylist will be absent for your appointment. If you're unlucky, you'll find out when you arrive that another stylist will have to help you because your regular stylist is not in town. The skill of a stylist is worthless to me unless he/she knows the importance of honoring appointment times. I've stopped coming here for a while because I was tired with appointment issues. The salon I go to now is pricier but I no longer have to wait unnecessarily for my stylist because she doesn't double book herself like this place does. read more

I have been coming to this location for years & specifically work with Michelle. I know she is busy & has multiple appointments a day so I called in to schedule an appointment. Some lady named Cindy answered and scheduled me at 11 am with Michelle & I came in at 11:15 to give Michelle some time to get settled in & she was still not in. I completely understand that Michelle could have been running late & im confused why Cindy stated that she would be in within the next 10 minutes & then comes back stating she'll be in within the next 30 minutes. Cindy refused to give me her name until I heard one of the other ladies say it. The 2 ladies working this morning (sitting at the nail table) on June 26,2026 were completely unprofessional. I've just spent 7 hours at Maggie's. I drive 15 miles one way to have Michelle do my hair. Why? Because no matter what she will get it right. I see so many people saying that getting highlights done is so expensive. Yes it is, because it's a mind numbing, labor intensive process. I got there at 10am, I left at 5 pm. I went through three different stages of the color process; color removal, highlights, root touch ups. Each of these takes time and patience on the part of the stylist and Michelle has that in spades. I gave her a reference color scheme and she delivered. After three years of purple hair I wanted a change. If you're intending to do something like I have, make sure you take the time, don't rush your stylist and then say it's a bad job. The scheduling was real easy. I just called them and booked for the next day appointment. This was my first time trying this place for a haircut relying on my friend's recommendation. I did my keratin hair treatment for the second time. Cindy is the lady who did it. Thanks to her for doing amazing job. Also I did waxing for underarms and full hands which was not painful at all. UPDATE; I washed my hair after 2 days as suggested by the lady who did my keratin. My hair is already wavy which should not happen only after 4 days of keratin. It was my first time going light on my hair, I've only done tiny dark brown highlights in the past. This time I wanted an ashy blonde (looks greyish in certain angles or lighting), showed Michelle a photo. And they achieved the look so well!! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to color their hair. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly, you can hear repeat customers coming in and catching up. Coincidentally, I also randomly bumped into my friend here whom I haven't seen in a long time and she stated that this is her go-to salon. They spent 6 1/2 hours on my hair because I was going from natural black to blonde. I felt really taken care of and not rushed. Be prepared to stay here awhile if you don't regularly dye your hair, and bring a book/snack/something to do. I got dropped off, parking is limited in the plaza parking lot because they share it with all the other businesses. I recommend coming early, as they were really busy with drop-ins as the day went on. I'm not sure if an appointment makes a difference because they take most walk-ins, but I made an appointment to make them aware to block off time. Worst service ever. I went here for waxing. The lady applied hot wax on my arms and half way through, left for taking a phone call. The wax dried up by the time she returned. She was then scraping it with her finger nails. I asked her why she did that and she said there was no one at the front desk to take the call. Left me with a sore red patch. I have been going to Maggie's since 2008. Today, I went for color and cut. I was not happy with cut, they cut it too short, Even though I was unhappy with cut I thought it would grow . As soon as I sat in car I noticed my forehead and ears are cover with color. I went back and they advised me if I wash my hair it will go away. After spending 120 $ for cut and color and style, I would want to flaunt professionally styled hair for a day, not go home and wash hair right away. If I could give zero I would! This is my first bad review ever, I usually do not write reviews but considering my situation I cannot stand to be quiet about this. Before officially booking my appointment I called ahead to ask for their prices, specifically for a keratin treatment and over the phone they stated their starting price was $55. I have been looking for a place that does this service and thought this salon was the best option considering what they said was their starting price. I took into consideration other recommendations I was given by friends but this salon supposedly had the cheapest price. I booked my appointment thinking I wouldn't have to pay more than $170 with the length of my hair being medium-long. The day of my appointment I also received a pedicure for $35, so I thought I would be paying around $200-$250 for both services. At the end of my appointment they charged me $495 which made me furious and confused why the price was so high. There was definitely miscommunication within their salon they let anyone pick up the phone and they have yet to give me a direct answer why I was charged this amount when stated on the phone it was a starting price of $55 they denied ever giving me the price.. now I have no proof to give more detail because it was over the phone anyways I have been dealing with this dilemma for almost a month and raised this awareness to the BBB and they yet to respond as well as my bank. Just the service a requested. I was not sure where to get the keratin smoothening done to my hair as it was frizzy and unmanageable. Seeing the google reviews, I approached the salon. I have long hair and it requires good amount of strength to finish this treatment. The lady who did the procedure for me was very patient and she completed the treatment with utmost dedication. And the results were amazing..The keratin base was not stinking and it was easy to manage my hair after the treatment. The price was nominal too and the salon is pretty big. Although I miss Maggie, who was excellent, I am still very happy with Cindy who now cuts and colors my hair. In fact, while she was giving me a trim today, another customer inquired about my hair color as she liked it so much she wants to come back for the same balayage and color! When I reached there at 3 PM , they asked me to wait for 15 minutes and then suddenly another party showed up for 3 PM appointment . Looking for a full service salon to take care of my split ends from the hair coloring and weather damage. I found this place on Yelp with good reviews and decided to give it a try. The salon is nestled in a Indian plaza with a supermarket so finding parking maybe a challenge. Inside the salon, it's well lit and brimming with business. All the stylists were busy tending to customers. I was fortunate to get an appointment scheduled on the same day. Lynn was great in squeezing me in. I had hot oil treatment and a haircut done. The hot oil treatment was definitely what my hair needed and cutting 2 inches of hair. Leaving the salon, I felt my hair was healthy and lively.
