Worst service ever. I went here for waxing. The lady applied hot wax on my arms and half way through, left for taking a phone call. The wax dried up by the time she returned. She was then scraping it with her finger nails. I asked her why she did that and she said there was no one at the front desk to take the call. Left me with a sore red patch. She didn't even apologize for that. Nor did she make any attempt to fix it. Not going here ever for waxing again. read more

I came here as recommended by my friend whose hair color was impressive. And my experience was likewise amazing! It was my first time going light on my hair, I've only done tiny dark brown highlights in the past. This time I wanted an ashy blonde (looks greyish in certain angles or lighting), showed Michelle a photo. And they achieved the look so well!! I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking to color their hair. Prices are reasonable. The atmosphere is friendly, you can hear repeat customers coming in and catching up. Coincidentally, I also randomly bumped into my friend here whom I haven't seen in a long time and she stated that this is her go-to salon. They spent 6 1/2 hours on my hair because I was going from natural black to blonde. I felt really taken care of and not rushed. Be prepared to stay here awhile if you don't regularly dye your hair, and bring a book/snack/something to do. I got dropped off, parking is limited in the plaza parking lot because they share it with all the other businesses. I recommend coming early, as they were really busy with drop-ins as the day went on. I'm not sure if an appointment makes a difference because they take most walk-ins, but I made an appointment to make them aware to block off time. I'm so happy I found my salon for hair coloring needs. You should try them out too, you won't regret it! read more

I have been going to Maggie's since 2008. Today, I went for color and cut. I was not happy with cut, they cut it too short, Even though I was unhappy with cut I thought it would grow . As soon as I sat in car I noticed my forehead and ears are cover with color. I went back and they advised me if I wash my hair it will go away. After spending 120 $ for cut and color and style, I would want to flaunt professionally styled hair for a day, not go home and wash hair right away. Don't get any service unless it's Michelle or Cindy doing it. read more

If I could give zero I would! This is my first bad review ever, I usually do not write reviews but considering my situation I cannot stand to be quiet about this. Before officially booking my appointment I called ahead to ask for their prices, specifically for a keratin treatment and over the phone they stated their starting price was $55. I have been looking for a place that does this service and thought this salon was the best option considering what they said was their starting price. I took into consideration other recommendations I was given by friends but this salon supposedly had the cheapest price. I booked my appointment thinking I wouldn't have to pay more than $170 with the length of my hair being medium-long. The day of my appointment I also received a pedicure for $35, so I thought I would be paying around $200-$250 for both services. At the end of my appointment they charged me $495 which made me furious and confused why the price was so high. There was definitely miscommunication within their salon they let anyone pick up the phone and they have yet to give me a direct answer why I was charged this amount when stated on the phone it was a starting price of $55 they denied ever giving me the price.. now I have no proof to give more detail because it was over the phone anyways I have been dealing with this dilemma for almost a month and raised this awareness to the BBB and they yet to respond as well as my bank. Just the service a requested. I was not sure where to get the keratin smoothening done to my hair as it was frizzy and unmanageable. Seeing the google reviews, I approached the salon. I have long hair and it requires good amount of strength to finish this treatment. The lady who did the procedure for me was very patient and she completed the treatment with utmost dedication. And the results were amazing..The keratin base was not stinking and it was easy to manage my hair after the treatment. The price was nominal too and the salon is pretty big. They do offer other services too like waxing, pedicure, manicure. The lady at the counter even offered free wacing service since it was my first time at the salon. On the whole, will visit the salon again for my next keratin session. read more

I've been coming to Maggie's for almost 8 years now (recommended to me by a colleague back when Maggie was the original owner). Although I miss Maggie, who was excellent, I am still very happy with Cindy who now cuts and colors my hair. In fact, while she was giving me a trim today, another customer inquired about my hair color as she liked it so much she wants to come back for the same balayage and color! Cindy is very personable and does a quality job. It's worth it even if I do drive an hour each way. Highly recommend this place. I have medium-long hair and it was $40 for a layered trim. read more

I have been coming to Maggie's for almost 10yrs now. Yesterday they had a special on Brazilian wax. Michelle who did the wax was amazing. They have a new wax that they use and it makes your skin super smooth after and it was also less painful. I recommend this place when getting bikini or Brazilian wax among other things as well. The Maggie's team did not give me the chance to give them a good review . It was my first time visit , I got an appointment time by walking earlier in the day for around 3 PM . When I reached there at 3 PM , they asked me to wait for 15 minutes and then suddenly another party showed up for 3 PM appointment . They messed up with timings and asked me to come back later as they have to entertain other party who called in and made the appointment . That is so sad , I would have waited there if out of three ladies , one would have admitted who asked me to come at 3 . Unfortunately none did . So not visiting this place ever again ! read more

This is my go to place for nails. Rachel is so talented and very detail oriented. I just have to show her a pic of what I want and she will exactly do the same. Michelle also did my falsies and graphic eye liner recently for an event. She did such a cool job at it. Highly recommend this place for hair color, styling, nails and waxing. Worst Pedicure I have ever received. My 12 year old daughter would of done a better job. She Didn't ask me how short I want my nails and she filed it unevenly the massage was not even a massage pedicure chairs don't work properly, water for pedicure bowl was cold didn't even ask how the water temperature is . I hate salons were they speak Vietnamese with one another employees so loud and obnoxious I come here to relax I find it disrespectful and rude we live in America respect the country and speak English Please unless you are speaking rudely about the customer there should be no reason for you guys to speak Vietnamese so loudly. read more

The service was decent and we were able to get in fairly quickly from when we made the appointment. Main reason for giving this 3 stars is that we were pretty much kept in the dark with how long processes were going to take. I planned for 3 hrs and I was there for over 6!! Maybe I don't get my hair done enough and maybe that is the standard time it should take for highlights, but it'd have been nice to know what was happening. Sometimes I felt like I was left in the chair longer just so they can finish with a different client. read more

Looking for a full service salon to take care of my split ends from the hair coloring and weather damage. I found this place on Yelp with good reviews and decided to give it a try. The salon is nestled in a Indian plaza with a supermarket so finding parking maybe a challenge. Inside the salon, it's well lit and brimming with business. All the stylists were busy tending to customers. I was fortunate to get an appointment scheduled on the same day. Lynn was great in squeezing me in. I had hot oil treatment and a haircut done. The hot oil treatment was definitely what my hair needed and cutting 2 inches of hair. Leaving the salon, I felt my hair was healthy and lively. I'll definitely schedule a time with them again for hair coloring as I wasn't expecting to spend 1/2 a day there. read more

When I told her I was a walk-in, she abruptly told me they couldn't accommodate me. What bothered me was not that they were unable to take me, but the way it was communicated. She didn't ask what service I needed, offer any alternatives, or suggest making an appointment for another day. The salon normally closes at 7:00 PM, and it appeared there was still time before closing, so I was left wondering why I couldn't be helped. I used to bring my kids here for haircuts, and the atmosphere was never like this before. Sadly, this experience left me feeling that the staff does not value or know how to treat customers respectfully. Based on this visit, I am very disappointed and will think twice before returning.

I came in 10 minutes later and upon walking in I was approached by the lady I spoke to on the phone, her name was My. She was the absolute sweetest lady ever! She took me into her chair and asked me what I wanted. I told her my hair was dead (I was previously blonde then went brunette and just got tired of my hair breaking from brushing my hair) I told her I wanted a medium length, straight blunt cut. She listened to my concerns and even had suggestions on how to take better care of my hair. She then washed my hair and started snipping away. She cut it medium length and last minute I wanted to cut it shoulder length LOL. I just wanted to start all over again as my hair grows pretty fast anyways. She was so sweet and didn't even mind that I wanted to cut more off last minute. When I tell you she took her time with my hair, she took her time! My was so easy to talk to that it felt like I knew her forever. I can honestly say that I'll be back to see her for all future hair cuts and trim touch-ups! Upon entering, Yvonne immediately approached me and asked what I want. I told her I wanted my hair roots dyed and have a hair cut to remove the split ends. The moment Yvonne started cutting my hair, I can immediately see that she is professionally trained. I had a salon back in the Philippines so I know when a hairdresser is really trained. Getting my deposit back required multiple follow-ups, and I was initially refunded the wrong amount, which I had to correct. They were really apologetic which I appreciated. I can't speak to the actual quality of the hair services, but from a scheduling and communication standpoint, it was a hassle. Since I know I'll need consistent, ongoing appointments as a blonde, I'm really looking for somewhere with easy, reliable booking.
