A shop/bar with lots of cute items for sale and a good beer selection. There is seating throughout the store. Server was very friendly.

I wish we had a place like this where I live. Great spot with copious options of beer and wine to choose from. The staff there very attentive and friendly. Lively ambiance of people coming in and out and having a good time with live music just outside. A plethora of phenomenal wines to either drink a pour or purchase by the bottle. They even had a 40% off take home bottle purchase which I luckily was able to grab some home refills. When in town again will definitely come here again.

This was such a quaint place to visit in Mount Dora. Located in a small alley this place is offering up so many different types of wine and beer. They also sell some fun and quirky items. If you take their spiral staircase upstairs (avoid this staircase if you've had a little too much to drink) you will find a small little sitting area with comfy chairs, some games to play and a record player with a choice of records to play. It was just perfect for our group of seven and unlike any place I've been before. They offer wine tastings on the first and third Saturdays of the month and beer tasting on the second Saturday of the month. I was told that they're very popular and loads of fun. Prices were very reasonable and the bartenders were super nice. I highly recommend stopping at Maggie's Attic if you're ever in the area!

Great place if you want to grab a casual glass of wine or one of their different varieties of beer/ciders. I tried one of the canned ciders and it was delicious, they have a bar inside and to go drinks of beer cans and wine bottles for you to purchase as well.

    Bonanza. California red, semi-dry. Excellent!

Maggie's Attic really is great. I think you'll find a common word in all the reviews, that being: Cozy. It was cold the day we came in and the warm glow of the light that reflected off of the many wine bottles cheered our spirits instantly. The soft leather couches beckon: "Sit, and relax for a while; you deserve it." The staff is very knowledgeable about wines and if you tell them what kind of drinks you normally enjoy, they'll steer you in the right direction. We opted to share a bottle of California Red semi-sweet, but it was EXACTLY what I wanted to drink; really a great bottle of wine! (Bonanza is the name in case you want to try it; they'll even give you samples before you commit). I know I'll be back soon.

When I think of the marketplace at Mount Dora, I think of Maggie's. It's the definition of the quaint and cozy experience you get strolling through the unique little alley way and stopping for a glass of wine to enjoy the outdoor seating. Who doesn't like sitting outside with a glass of wine? Inside, the shop holds a lot of wine varieties, beer as well as cute little accessories for entertaining. I actually picked up some fun pizza slice glass ornaments. Each slice is unique with different toppings and hang on the rim of your glass so guests don't mix up their glasses... especially important these days! I only knocked off a star because I was unable to find a nice French Pinot. I'd like to see their French selection expanded more.

A great little spot that is so cozy. I loved how the sofas were set up so friends could gather while having a glass of wine and relax. They also have small tables inside and out. For a small place, they have a great selection of beer and wine. The store was adorable too. Lots to look at with every turn. The craf beer and bottles of wine lined the walls. We had fun browsing.

One of the places we checked out in cute Mount Dora. This is a combo bar & liquor store and has seating areas. We were about to leave and because something had to use the restroom, discovered it has an even cooler area upstairs! I guess Attic should have been the giveaway but they had all this stuff like you might find in an attic....so.....lol

Stopped in here for a drink before lunch. Cute little place with scattered seating inside and out. A huge selection of wines and beer to choose from. We got a few glasses of each among us. The lady at the bar was very friendly and helpful. There are also some art and fun Knick knacks around the store for sale as well. Seems like a fun place to grab a drink and relax.

During a recent trip to Mount Dora for the antique extravaganza, we stopped in Maggie's Attic for a nightcap. After many hours of walking during the day, I will say the spiral staircase to the upstairs restroom was a bit of a workout! The beer of choice this evening was from a craft brewery called Hidden Springs Ale Works. "Serenity Now" had a great cherry chocolate flavor, that was just a tad sour. I'll add this to my craft list of new favorites.

That's what we did that morning. Ambiance was great. It felt like each little dining area was a different room in a big, semi-haunted mansion. Eclectic books and paintings and mirrors and other baubles adorned much of the walls, making for plenty of looking around time during you meal. Very fun. Service was really good. The pacing of the meal was great, and our server was very friendly. We were always with drink, and she knew the menu backwards and forwards, even the special dishes of the night. As for the food, we went whole hog with two apps, two mains, and a dessert to share. Out of everything we ordered, only one of them remains on the current menu, which is a great sign. I love a rotating, seasonal menu. It shows effort, and it definitely encourages return patronage. We started with the Ciabatta Board (toasted ciabatta, house butter made with sun dried tomato, roasted red pepper, parmesan, garlic, chive). This was nice. It was very sun dried tomato, so if you don't like them, don't get this. But very soft, toasty bread made this very lovely. We also got an escargot app which was very creamy and soup-like. The snails were complimented well by the spinach. And the whole thing came with a nice little breadstick. I saved some of the bread from the board for some sopping. Pro move. For our mains, we got a miso butter New York strip and some sort of Asian themed duck. For both mains, the proteins were cooked very very well, and the portion sizes were a good size compared to what I was expecting. Both sets of taters were good. The mash was very smooth and creamy, the roasted baby potatoes were cooked all the way through and were nice and naturally buttery. Both were served with a seasonal veg mix that was pretty ok. It rounded out the plate, but it won't change your world or anything. We finished off with one of the best slices of cheesecake I've ever had. Incredibly smooth with the perfect cheesecake density, the perfect amount of chocolate chips inside, and a nice little crust that added that little bit of texture that is needed from the crust. Overall, quite a meal! To survive in a small town with these prices and those quality ingredientes and that unique of a menu design is very impressive. I will certainly be back.

Our server was really nice, made good recommendations, and the food was paced absolutely perfectly. The food itself was the best part. Crazy unique menu items that promised a lot and delivered a lot. Cons: Not a single con. A great little visit. Tips: The menu has completely changed since we went, which is good, so I can't recommend any specific dishes. But the ones I see on the menu now look absolutely banging.

Generous seating and calm, peaceful music make for a very intimate setting to enjoy with dinning companions. We started off with the Charcuterie platter. Both were delicious. I have so much respect for Chef John. Operating a small high end restaurant in 2026, must be the toughest job around. That level of care is increasingly rare, and it deserves real credit. Where the experience faltered, unfortunately, was the food. The prefix menu included many dishes, but most missed the mark. They felt lackluster, missing the depth, seasoning, or execution that would match the charm of the service. Nothing was outright bad, but nothing stood out either. It's the kind of meal that leaves you wishing the kitchen's ambition matched the front‑of‑house enthusiasm. It may have been an off night, but there was only one other couple in the place on a Friday dinner service, so that may have been a sign up front.

My better half observed a slushie machine rotating in the background and inquired. It was a sangria concoction and after sampling it chose to order that. She really liked the slushie and on yet another hot Florida summer it was not only refreshing it tasted great. The prices were reasonable. We spent about a hour at the bar and afterwards meandered over to a nearby restaurant we had our minds set on. After having supper we returned to The Nest for a couple more drinks before the concert. The decor, the service, the food, the wine, all impeccable, fun, and quirky in the best way. The setup is very odd, seems like a wine bar you could find in a mall, but it's cute and endearing immediately upon entering. The nice woman inside the bar took my order quickly and politely ignored how awkward I am. I was asked if I was opting in to the wine tasting so OF COURSE I said yes, and was treated to a vast array of the best wines I've tasted in a long time, along with complimentary cheese and crackers. I got the antipasto plate which was prepared by a chef with a bedazzled headband the appeared to have wandered in looking for the Doobie Brothers concert, and while the antipasto wasn't anything crazy it was very well priced.
