Today March 15, 2025, I stopped by this shop to look for a dress for a formal dinner. Two young ladies were working one did not greet the other was very rushed and bombarding me with questions. She asked when I needed the dress and I said as soon as possible. I felt so rushed and felt as though they did not want to help me that I just replied thank you and left the store. BEYOND HAPPY! As a full figured plus sized woman, going into any sort of event wear store can be frightening. Most stores don't typically cater to my size- and typically . I was able to work with the seamstress of the store in finding something I loved for an event I have coming up! I wasn't able to leave the store with the dress I wanted, but I did try on a size that was just a tad too small. She was immediately able to look up the dress in the size I need and order it. Agreeing with the other reviews -- customer service is not the best. Was looking to get my dress altered but then was told that they couldn't perform any alterations at all. All I was left with was a "sorry" -- no recommendations on what to do, just wanted me to gather up my dress and other belongings and leave the store. Nope Nooe Nope never again. Rented 2 Tuxedos for a wedding and the Tuxedo for the groom did not fit and the buckle broke. Basically the Groom who is a Minister sagged and had his poorly fitted Tuxedo fall off during the entire day. I went in about a month ago, needing a dress for a second marriage. Not a full blown traditional wedding but something a little more understated. The girl that helped was pleasant, but I was kind of on my own. There was a younger girl there, and an older lady (she really didn't say much at all). The younger girl was slightly more helpful but I really needed help with dresses, ordering, color, etc. I tried on several but most of the dresses offered were sample sizes (10) and didn't fit. I had to search through racks and racks and pull my own dresses and it was overwhelming. When we left, we noticed that there were several dresses in my size and larger that I could have tried on, but I was exhausted. There was very little interaction between myself and the ladies in the shop. I found one dress that I kind of liked, and I would have bought it in a different color, but they assured me it would be 3 months before they could get it in the store, even with expedited shipping. I am glad it worked out this way. I never would have thought to go to a chain retail store, but a friend suggested David's Bridal, so my mom and I drove up to Roseville and it was a totally different experience. Even though this is my 2nd marriage, I STILL wanted to feel pretty and at David's Bridal, they were pulling dresses and asking questions and very attentive - and I didn't get that at all here. I think, mainly, it's a lack of experience with the sales girl. I'm sure you could get a beautiful dress here, and they had really pretty dresses, but you will be limited when it comes to trying them on, and they were too busy to help me (and I was ready to buy). Just depends on what kind of customer service you require. P.S. David's Bridal ordered my dress and promised within 2 weeks - not 3 months...... read more

I helped my best friend find a wedding dress that she liked but wanted to add some of her "own touches" to it. Maggie gave her some great advice and had her amazing seamstress do her magic... and my friend was beyond happy! Due to the great service, my friend purchased all of her accessories (tiara, necklace, earrings, vail) from here and Maggie gave her a great deal. Now, all of us (the wedding party) are getting our dresses from here too! With all the time we spent here, I couldn't help but notice that you can find everything you need for a quincinera or debut, first communions, prom...pretty much any event you need to look good for. I would give them no stars if possible. I was having a crisis with my daughter's wedding dress had to have it emergency cleaned her wedding is on Sat. After picking the dress up at the cleaners they had to throw the garment bag out due to the fire smell I called Maggie's Bridal and asked if I could buy a garment bag from after being told yes I rushed over to n treated so rudely or was unbelievable and the owner refused to sell me a bag even after I sad I would pay double she so rude and unprofessional and said she would not sell a bag to anyone who didn't buy the dress from her. So if I wasn't going through enough so I left so upset. I called Bliss bridal the owner was loving and compassionate was more than happy to help me even had me bring the dress in and bagged for me. We went here after going out of town and not finding a prom dress. My daughter told the saleswoman what she was looking for and colors she liked. The saleswoman brought her a bunch of different dresses. She found a gorgeous red strapless but it was too big. They did alterations and it looks amazing! Tried to go look at dresses for my wedding and low and behold the door was locked at 5:30!!!! The sign in the window says 6pm!!! To top it off the employees were looking right at me through the door and not once came to the door to at least let me know they closed early!!!! I went to Maggie's bridal to check out their bridesmaid dresses, i didn't realize they also did tux rentals.we ended up getting the grooms and groomsmen tuxes as well. while the girls were looking at dresses, i started to wonder around and realize they had bridal jackets. i couldn't find the exact white to match my dress. Maggie asked me to bring my dress in the next day and as Maggie was looking at my dress she grabbed my scarf that came with my dress and called for Blanca from the back and soon after that i was measured and by the next week i had an amazing jacket made out of my scarf that was perfectly matched to my wedding dress. if i could give 10 stars i would, they have absolutely amazing customer service. we felt like family by the time we were all done. read more

Came into Maggie's searching for a sash, upon entering the store we were not greeted. The associate was fitting a gentlemen, but nevertheless could of spared a hi. My mother asked her a question regarding the sash and she directed us to the back of the store. The workers at this location were not very helpful and did not give adequate customer service. Customer service was great! I was always asked if I needed help whether it was finding a specific style of dress or if I needed help putting one on. I was also glad that they offered to reserve a dress for me since I went alone and I wanted to come in another day with someone who can tell me their opinion. I really really loved this little store! Maggie and her staff are wonderful!! My daughter is in pageants and I was referred to her by one of the other contestants after trying other stores with no luck for a girl my daughter's age. I bought my wedding dress from Maggie's after lots and lots of shopping around, and after trying on dresses more than once at her store. I had a strict (small) budget and she was willing to work within that, only pulling dresses within my budget (unlike everywhere else I went!). The dress I got is a lovely classic gown, and her seamstress did quite a bit of work to it to make it to my liking - added straps, added lace, removed the tulle, added a bustle. I went in for two fittings and took it home after the second! A gorgeous gown when all was said and done. Very happy with their service all-around, I never felt pressured or under a time constraint while there. I bought my dress only 4 months before my wedding and had it home with me ready to go with 5 weeks to spare. Had a wedding in August for 12 Groomsmen. Uh----yes....that is a lot! Maggie's bridal offered great products at great prices. They were efficient and willing to work with each groomsman so they would look at their best on the day of the wedding. I went to maggie Bridal in search of a reception dress and bridesmaids dresses. I had searched everywhere to have my vision come true. I wanted a high low reception dress and my 7 bridesmaid's in 7 different styles of dresses (of the same color and fabric.) Maggie was able to make my dreams come true!!!! We ended up buying a wedding gown and having it alter to a high low dress... it came out prefect!!! My bridal party looked spectacular!!!! One bridesmaid wanted three quarter length sleeves, which were added with no problem!!!! I even had my mom and mother in law's dresses (bought at other stores) altered there which came out perfect as well!!! I also had my flower girls' dresses and my 27 foot long veil steamed there... of course all perfect!!!! She even opened on a Sunday for me cause of my crazy work schedule conflicted with their hours!!!! They're so nice here and have quite a large selection!! They had exactly what I was looking for; not only that, their workers were very polite. I came in not long after the store opened and the two women working were very helpful. They helped me look, helped me find a price, and even offered me more information about dresses.
