My favorite new place - magic tricks at the bar (Jay is good), tender steak tips cooked perfectly in a Pepsi BBQ sauce, and a delicious chicken dish with yummy pan sauce. I was sad that my meal was ending. Definitely coming back to try the fish and chips. Do yourself a favor and at least give it a go! Went for the first time and all I can say is WOW. Parking lot was full and I figured we would be waiting forever. 15 minutes and we were in. Food was awesome and the tater tots were like nothing I have ever had. They were huge and filled with cheese. I got fried fish dinner. The batter was thin and crunchy. The fish was big and very tasty. Nice choice of beers. The wait staff was fantastic. Very helpful with menu items. The one thing I think every restaurant should have is the YELP wait time link. Only complaint; there is almost always a wait (sign of a good place), but waiting can be confusing as the door bottlenecks a little and other waiting diners congregate there. read more

I have been to Maggie's farm twice now, once for dinner and once for lunch. Both times the food has been amazing. The first time I got the meatloaf and it was perfect, melted in my mouth. For lunch I got the Crab BLT and it was excellent as well. It's a great place and the atmosphere is great too, I definitely recommend this place and will be back. read more

I've only been to Maggie's a couple of times. I got the Nachos and they were impeccable. Loaded to the max, they even have the bottom chips loaded! Geniuses! I've never been during dinner but it seems like the entire town goes, you can't even find parking. That's the only downfall, because of the small parking lot it is very difficult to find a spot sometimes, even during the day. That whole strip has that issue. If they were able to extended the lot into the woods about 50 feet, this place would be seen from space. Keep it up Maggie's! read more

We were at Maggies recently and had the best time. Being our first time at this restaurant, we weren't sure what to order. Caroline, the bartender, made excellent recommendations for both drinks and dinner. If you're looking for a casual atmosphere with good, friendly service and tasty yet affordable drinks and dishes then this is the place! I have been here a handful of times and have not had a bad meal yet! Everything tastes so fresh and delicious. The Shepard's pie is the ultimate in comfort food. If you order this, don't eat too many apps because it is SO filling. The range of choices is spectacular. You can order anything from freshly made sushi, a cobb salad, or a pulled pork sandwich. I have a hard time deciding! The atmosphere is cozy and rustic. You feel right at home when you're there. Their desserts are also wonderful. This place is a hidden gem! Saturday I went with friends for lunch and the service was excellent. I had the black bean burger which was amazing. Other guests at our table ordered the cobb salad and fish tacos which were both delicious as well! I raved so much about the place that my fiance and I actually went back the very next day for lunch. I'm liking this place!....I ordered the steak tips and they were cooked perfectly and the marinade was absolutely perfect. Just damn delicious. The meat? Well not so good. Tasty as hell, thanks to that marinade but SUPER tough. What a bummer. :( I did clean my plate, though. Hubs ordered the wings and he was in heaven. They reminded him of Latitude 43's original wings, back in the day. He was in heaven.... Bartenders were fine - kind of like robots. The dishes served to people around us looked great so I'm looking forward to going back. One of THE BEST burgers. I always order the Maggie Burger and it's so flavorful and cooked as requested every time. Also, the tots!!!!! Can't go to Maggie's without getting tots!!! The service is always excellent, we usually get the two same servers, either Sarah or Maddie and they are both awesome!!! This place was different. The bar was sleek and cool but the rooms were cozy and warm. Menu was unique as well, pizzas, sushi and American entrees. Local beers on tap! We got the tater tots as an app... Pretty good and the dip that went with it was delicious. My wife got the salmon goat cheese salad and it was average. I would not return unless it was to get together with friends again. The food is very mediocre and does not appear to be anything like any other "farm to table " restaurant I have been to. I meet some friends there and asked them what have they had in past visits and they informed me the items they previously tried were just okay. and that visit they were trying untried items. Hadn't been to Maggie's in a while, but have been here twice in the last couple of months with friends. Both times we coincidentally had Sarah as our waitress, and she was fantastic! After only meeting us once she remembered us from our first visit! She is pleasant, attentive and makes a great meal an even better experience! We have ordered the tater tots, nachos, stir-fry, bbq plate, fish and chips, and baked haddock and everything was absolutely fantastic! Drinks were good and served promptly, price is right and the atmosphere is fun. Only thing is that I wished they did reservations because it's only busy, but it won't stop us from being back! read more

We were a party of six and at first they wanted us to sit on high tops.. a no no fir most of us. The manager? Was almost the equivalent to a cartoon character having the most annoying accent..,, and TERRIBLE customer service skills! He literally sat us on top of a party of two women... so being in the restaurant business I did not direct my complaint but made it very well known ... I believe he heard me speaking of the situation which was finally rectified ... as we sat there all squished in... I guess I should go back to hotel/ restaurant work as it was not rocket science.... the clown mgr tried to be all nicey nicey after the idiot fixed the problem.. oh wait it was my doing?! Scratch kitchen and the food doesn't lie, lived in middleton my whole life and this little gem takes it with best menu, usually sit at the bar and the staff is very hospitable. This visit i sat at at a table for the first time during a busy dinner rush. Service on floor was still excellent and our waiter was very charismatic and kind. Saw him making strong connections with his other tables as well (Jacob) My friends and i ordered the Maggie's Burger, Steak Tips, and the Hot Hot Hot sushi. I've been a fan of Maggie's farm for awhile now, being a resident of Middleton. But, everyone once and awhile I'll order a new dish and it comes up really short. This last time I ordered the burrito bowl with no meat (to go) and it was very sad. It was nothing more than some white rice with a few pieces of avocado, tortilla strips, and maybe ten black beans. Was really upset about this! Hopefully they will improve on their lacking recipes. read more

Haven't been there since it opened and they had various menus for the various times. I like that they now have a menu that spans throughout the day. I went for lunch an enjoyed the choice of a full menu. I loved Kristen our bartender who was very warm and welcoming. Food was prepared as ordered. Been going to Maggies for years with my boys. I am not complaining about the food or service it's always been great. My problem is sitting outside all you can smell is the dumpster. It smells really bad, kind of hard to enjoy the meal. Please wash out your dumpster it's a turnoff. read more

Having just moved within a few miles of Maggie's Farm, I have been there several times recently. I'd been there before and enjoyed it, and now that I've been there several times I can honestly say the food is great! It's somewhat upscale pub food, and I think you would have to search the menu closely for super healthy options, but it is very good. Probably in the top 3 best fish & chips I've ever had! Their appys are creative and very tasty, they do have a sushi list but I haven't tried anything on it yet, and the entrees are generous and very creative and comfortable. Cool beer and wine list as well. I am a card carrying member of the Serenitee restaurant group's frequent flyer program, so I have been to most of their establishments and have always been impressed.
