The one doing my manicure kept hurting me by yanking my fingers and filing my skin. I said ouch and she didn't care. I've been here four times but will not go back. I left in pain. I left a small tip but I don't think they understand. The price also is different every time even though I get the same thing done!!

They line the foot bath of the spas with the plastic, so we were happy about that. We are also very glad we made an appointment because it was super busy. The only reason I am not giving 5-Stars is because the customer service was lacking. The person who did my pedicure was very rushed. She did a great polish job though. I had to ask her 4 times if she would wrap my nails so that I didn't have to wait an additional 20-30 minutes to let them soak for my new SNS. I am used to my nail tech doing this before my pedicure starts. I also had to ask for wine, no drinks were offered to us. The wine was great though. Overall we enjoyed ourselves, the place is great, the service could just be better.

Abstract nail design, exactly what I wanted! The nail tech was great about listening to what I wanted and adjusting the design.

Half of the polish chipped off, so I called and said that I would like it corrected. I stated that I wanted to get something different because there could be an issue with the polish. I was told I would have to pay if i wanted a different color. Went back, and decided that I would get a polish change to a cat eye color. I was charged for the following: nail polish change fee gel polish upcharch gel polish removal fee cat eye polish additional fee Coc** , who was doing my nails again tried to throw an additional $15 dollar "design fee" to use the magnet on the cat eye polish. I told her that the additional upcharge for cat eye polish included the magnet to make the effect. I was already charged a gel polish fee, as well as a cat eye polish fee. I have never been charged a design fee on top the upcharge for the cat eye fee. The lady tried to tell me that the additional cost of cat eye only covered the polish and that it was just glitter and they would not use the magnet if i did not pay the additional $15., I told them just forget it, i would just get the old jail polish color that had chipped so bad before I was going to pay all of those upcharges to correct chipped gel manicure. The lady that was doing my nails was going back and forth with the owner in a different language and getting loud and arguing in another language, and huffing and puffing around, and it was extremely embarrassing. They truly made me feel like I was trying to steal services from them because I stood up for myself against all these upcharges. The owner finally agreed that i would just pay the for the cat eye color without charging for the design fee, and then discounted it. The lady that was doing my nails seemed really pissy about the whole situation, and was just shoving my hands into the gel cure light. There was gel polish all over my wrist and hands and arms because she was kind of angrily slinging the polish. After she finished, she did not even bother to try and clean off the polish she had slung on me. After all was said and done, I quietly got up and walked to the front and i ended up paying $38 for the cat eye gel polish fee. I gave her a $3.50 tip just because i felt obligated to, but that was 3.00 too much. The owner had to go an get a cotton ball soaked with accetone to try and scrub all of that polish off of me, but i just said forget it, i would clean it up at home. When I got home, I saw that there were little spots of polish all over the side of my shirt from all the polish she got on my wrists and arms. Gel polish will not come off in the wash, by the way. I will say that the young lady that works the front desk was very sweet, and she was kind of caught in the middle. She said that Coc** didn't understand all the upcharges because she didn't speak English well. I don't personally buy that, but again, she was stuck in the middle and trying to advocate for me. I told her that i was embarrased and felt like they were talking about me since they were yelling and going back and forth in another language, and that the tech seemed realled mad at me. I will never step a foot back in this place. I really feel like they were mad about having to correct a bad polish job without getting paid, so they were going to try and stick it to me everywhere they could. Please advocate for yourself and make sure that you understand all the upcharges from these salon and that you get them to explain them to you. The upcharge culture in nail salons is getting ridiculous. They're going to start charging for the water in the foot bath for pedicures, and the massage option in the chairs before long. It doesn't seem as though they care about creating a good experience, and establishing a clientele, because this was just unacceptable. I will be finding a local nail tech on booksy from now on. One that is not an assembly line where they try and get as many people in the chair.

If this review were only about the finished craftsmanship, I would've given a much higher rating. The problem was the length and the customer service. Before I could even tell him how long I wanted my nails, he started cutting and took off a huge chunk. By the time I realized what was happening, they were already way too short. I booked my appointment expecting long/XL nails, and I ended up with nails that aren't even medium length. On top of that, he had a very heavy hand and never communicated with me. He didn't ask me to place my hands anywhere or explain what he needed and he just grabbed, pushed, and moved my hands around the entire appointment. It felt like I was being manhandled instead of treated like a customer. After everything, I explained to the woman at the front that my nails were much shorter than what I had booked. She changed my service from long/XL to small/medium, which made sense. But then I was still charged an extra $5 for "extra length." Extra length... where? The nail quality was genuinely great, but the experience was upsetting. Communication matters. Please let your clients tell you the length they want before cutting, and treat their hands with more care and respect.
