And I absolutely ended up in perimeter mall rush hour traffic for no reason and had to cancel my photoshoot also for no reason. You'll remember that deposit when that chargeback hits. If I had read her reviews beforehand, I would have never trusted her with my hair. Her Instagram is misleading--it makes her look professional, but in reality, she lacks proper training and should not be in the hair care business. My daughter asked them to correct the braids in the back because they were uneven from the front. The front braids were small and the back was medium. She asked several times if someone was going to assist with braiding. She did not get and answer and they were rude. I had to send for my daughter by a relative close in the area to go up to the shop to advocate more on her behalf because she is19 and obviously they knew how to be dismissive. It took over 10 hours for them to do knotless. Needless to say there was a deduction in money they received on our end. The style was finished at 11:30 pm with an apology issued after being confronted by the relative. Its not acceptable especially when they want to charge high prices and short change customers on braiding quality. Time is valuable just like money. I encourage you to reconsider where you invest your dollars. As a parent, it didnt sit well with me nor my child even if she is an adult. They also charged me an additional 50 dollars for the density of my hair. Much of my consultation was spent talking about their products. Shea Locs has multiple locations and it felt like a sales-y franchise situation. Overall, I wasn't satisfied with my experience and will not be continuing my loc journey here. On a positive note, the shop was clean, they had good music playing and I was promptly greeted.
