I've been to this Drybar location several times in the past, but unfortunately the quality has gone down considerably. My last two visits were very disappointing. I specifically asked for tight curls and was given loose curls instead. The stylist didn't even show me the finished style or ask if I was satisfied before moving on, which felt dismissive and unprofessional. I was also told I would be charged extra for detangling -- which I understand -- but if I'm paying more, I expect the service to be completed properly and with attention to detail. Overall, the customer service and styling quality were lacking. I've had much better experiences at other Drybar locations, so I'll be going elsewhere moving forward. This location really needs more skilled stylists and stronger customer service standards. read more

All I can say is that this has been by far one of the best dry bar experiences and I have been here quite a bit. Well not always this location, but drybar in general. My appt was at 1 and I did have to wait until 1:30 to get a stylist. Thank goodness, I wasn't in a hurry. I am also understanding of the fact that no one was just standing around, every single person was working diligently. I wish I could remember the name of my stylist, but she called my name and went to washing my hair quickly. She was very personable and talked to me along the way which is great. She asked what style I wanted and I never know the name, so I told her waves and made a gesture with my hands of how I want it to look and she knew right away. When I tell you that this blowout lasted me a good 4 days and probably could have went a bit more had I not decided to work out and sweat in that 4th day! I have never had the waves last that long. They usually fall out and I don't know if that's my hair or the products being used, but it was fantastic. Just rang a big comb through it each day and it was just as fabulous as the first day! read more

Had an amazing time at Drybar - Midtown Atlanta. I requested a dry style for a wedding. Because the wedding was over an hour away from this location (but 5 minutes from my hotel), my stylist helped me by setting my hair a little more than she normally would to help it withstand the many hours of party I was about to endure. They charge $15 per braid - I wanted a small French braid and although I understand it may have taken time on someone else, she was done with my hair in under 25 minutes. I don't believe they should have charged me for a small braid when I was already paying for a style. I understand that someone with longer hair may have taken longer, but I believe this service should be a case by case charge. Dry style $35 Braid $15 Total: $55 Tip: $12 cash They asked me if I wanted a drink and although I wanted a champagne, I wasn't sure if they would charge me so I declined. They weren't very clear about add ons. These two reasons are the only reasons I give this experience 4 stars. Hot water continued flowing directly onto my face, burning my scalp. The stylist, Dani, then attempted to pressure me into booking her privately outside of Drybar, which I declined. Once seated in her chair, I clearly explained that I am sensitive to excessive pulling. Despite this, she began detangling my hair aggressively without using any detangler, then proceeded to blow-dry my hair roughly. She moved on to flat-ironing my hair using excessive heat and burned the back of my neck in the process. When I asked her not to do that again, she dismissed my concern, told me I was over-exaggerating, and slammed the flat iron onto the counter. It fell to the floor, narrowly missing my legs. At that point, I stood up immediately. Three incidents were more than enough to show a complete disregard for my safety and the care of my hair. It felt clear that she was eager to move on to the next client--a customer of a different cultural background--whom she spoke to and treated with noticeably more respect than she did me. I then spoke with the store manager to cancel my subscription and was told it could not be canceled for three months (for which was not communicated prior before saying yes). On July 28, 2025, I sent a formal email--including the store manager and corporate contacts--requesting cancellation and a detail breakdown of what took place. To date, no one has followed up, and my subscription has not been canceled. I have continued to be charged $45 every month through February 2026. I will be taking this matter further. I am beyond dissatisfied and deeply disappointed by the lack of care, professionalism, and basic customer service--particularly toward customers of color, myself included. I do not recommend Drybar and especially this location. read more

Drybar is a cute, fun blow dry bar where you can get your hair done for a special occasion or just because. It's always a great experience. Upon entering, you're offered a refreshment between a selection of mimosa, tea, coffee, and cookies. Your hairstylist discusses what type of blowout you want ( Manhattan, Mai Tai, Southern Comfort, etc) then proceeds with the hair wash. During your blowout, they play fun Rom Coms and although you cannot hear it over the blow dryers they do have subtitles! My hair always looks and smells great after leaving Drybar. read more

Excellent customer service and staff ! Parking get validated for the for the parking located right next to dry bar. The location is great because you can go on go for happy hour before you get your hair done with your girls or go grab a bite after your hair is done with your partner while looking fabulous! Dry bar offers a variety of services but it's mainly for a relaxing hair wash and a beautiful blowout. They can also add some shine to your hair. They can give you an extra scalp massage if you've had a stressful day and pretty much just pamper you for the hour you're there! they are very quick: you're not there for hours; It takes about 45 minutes to an hour depending on your hair length to get your blowout done. Dry bar also offers a monthly blowout service where you can pay a monthly fee to get one to two blowouts done a month and they roll over if you don't use them plus people can share your blowout "allowance" with you, which is pretty awesome. The price ranges from like $45-$90 a month. Go check them out! read more

I've been coming to DryBar locations since you opened and in every location-nationwide! Buckhead is usually My favored location but this time I was staying closer to Midtown while here on business. I understand delays but a weekday appt that's 20 plus minutes delayed goes against the DryBar vibe. While the gal was super apologetic and another gal started my wash-which was amazing I still had to push all my meetings back. They did comp it and I appreciate that as well- but the finished product was less than what I expected and used to getting so even free it wasn't a great experience. read more

Love this concept! I am NOT a hair girl. I consider brushing my hair to be the extent of my "hair styling." Thanks to Drybar, I can have gorgeous hair anytime! Salon is conveniently located next to a parking garage and they do validate parking so don't forget your ticket. I made an appointment online. Walked in and was greeted with a smile and offering for my choice of beverage (lemon infused water, Rose, mimosa, champagne, etc.). I immediately opted for the bubbly. Salon was clean and immaculately decorated. No odd odors. They played cute rom coms on TV for you to watch as you're getting your hair done. My stylist was sweet and helped me pick a style perfect for my formal event. $45 gets you a hair wash and style. If you prefer to wash your hair at home, it's only $25 for a dry styling. The curls she gave me came out perfect and lasted all night long. I love that my curls held without ever feeling crunchy from too much hair spray. It was still soft and movable. The only reason this wasn't a 5*star experience for me was because I had added an additional 10 minute scalp massage for $10. I received a massage that lasted about 1.5 R&B songs. Definitely was not 10 minutes. And I LOVE scalp massages so you can imagine my heartbreak when she told me to sit up and I was mentally going, "That's it?!" Overall, I loved the outcome of my styling and would not hesitate to come back next time I need a style, but skip the scalp massage. read more

Had my first ever visit yesterday and it was a great experience! LOCATION: There is validated parking in the deck right next to the salon. It's free for 2 hours, which is just the amount of time you need. The location is very nicely decorated, in subtle pastel colors and very clean. It's bright and cheery. They have a small menu of complimentary refreshments and cookies. SERVICE: Autumn was my stylist and she was amazing! She promptly greeted me by my appointment time and answered all of my questions. She was efficient and took great care with my hair. I will definitely come back as she just elevated the experience. I did not get the name of the woman at the register (short curly brown hair and glasses), but she was also very helpful. She made sure I got my drink order and offered me an umbrella as it was raining. PRICE: For a blowout, the fee of $45 was very fair and reasonable! I have thick curly textured hair and was a bit nervous coming into the salon. I saw a few other naturals go to Drybar on TikTok so I decided to call. The front desk said everyone can do natural hair so I made an appointment. I haven't straightened my hair in 2+ years so I wasn't sure what to expect. I parked in the deck next door and when I walked in they were ready for me. There was a short consult with my stylist Joya then she washed my hair. Sabrina and Joya blew it out. This helped speed up the process. It was then flat ironed. It's definitely not a silk press but they require much more heat than a blowout. I am so happy with the results. This was hands down the worst experience I have ever had getting a blowout. My usual lady was booked for the week so I decided to come here. My appointment was at 10:15 AM and was started about 15 minutes late. Stylist was extremely rough with my hair and caused a great deal of breakage. Was genuinely painful. I have extensions and am aware my hair takes longer to dry but there is zero reason it should have taken one hour and 45 minutes to get through my appointment. Near end of styling, I asked if I was able to pay with cash as I do NOT put beauty charges on my cards in ANY circumstances. She told me I would be fine. It gets to 6:15 still haven't even been shampooed. I ask if I will be able to be out of there by 6:45. They tell me that won't be happening. I ask that they cancel my appointment and not charge me as this is 1000% their fault. They say sure. I leave to go to my car and get an email receipt that they've charged my card for a no show. All this franchisee's locations have gone way down hill. I will stick to the new dry bar in vinings from here on out where customers and their time are valued. read more

If you are Black or have curly hair please do yourself a favor and make sure you don't go to Aaron. He makes continuous comments about how much tension he needs to be able to "smooth" your hair. He goes over your hair with a blow dryer more than 10 times, killing your hair and not paying attention to potential heat damage he's causing. I've been in and out of Drybar many times in the past within an hour with a beautiful outcome. However, he is absolutely not it. read more

I would be sincerely happy if my next home was a whole lot closer to this place. I've gone to other blow out places, and Drybar is easily the best I've been to. What I loved: 1. The ambiance - it's decorated so you feel like you've walked into a very feminine HGTV renovation. 2. "Would you like white wine, red wine, champagne, mimosa, or [white noise after mimosa, okay, tea or water]. Yes, I'd love a mimosa while I get my hair done in a beautiful space! 3. Most importantly, great styling job. I'm honestly a little particular, such that I tend to not want my hairstylists to actually, you know, style my hair after coloring or cutting it. They do a great job objectively, I'm just not into it, so this was a real gamble. I went for the dirty martini, though other options seemed nice, but the dirty martini seemed most appropriate for me because what I tend to dislike is looking overly coiffed. I loved it, and I received so many compliments. I made sure no one thought I had managed it myself. I especially think of you have difficult hair that you should come here. For example, the woman next to me had incredibly long hair, and having somebody else managing it must be a relief. Getting back to my opening: I'll be returning, and if, by chance, I move closer at some point, I think it would become at least a monthly visit, though I'd probably buy a membership. read more

Fantastic place! Never disappoints! Was able to get an appointment last minute for 6:30p. My hair had to look fabulous for a professional picture. One benefit is that they have appointments as early as 800a and as late as 630p. Anyway, I was greeted as soon as I walked in and was offered water or wine, or mimosa. I opted for mimosa. My hairstylist did a fantastic job understanding exactly what I wanted. She did a nice job washing and prepping my hair and after discussing what I wanted got to workZ she did my hair SO quickly I was afraid it wouldn't hold up. She also gave me tips for making the style last longer. The style held perfectly for the picture. Best part is that they validated my parking ticket. I absolutely love this place and would come here every week if I could afford to do so. read more

Loved my experience here. I booked a last minute appointment for a blow out about 1.5 before I wanted to go. The receptionist was super friendly and welcoming. Daniela, my stylist, was super quick and did a great job on my blow out. I was in and out within 45 minutes. I have curly hair that goes down to my armpits. My hair was so soft shiny when I left. As I was getting ready to leave, it started to pour down and they gave a me a cute little umbrella free of charge so that I don't mess up my hair. Parking is easy and it is validated so make sure to bring your parking ticket with you. Will definitely be returning when in need of a quick blow out. read more

This was my first time using Dry Bar, and I want to give it 5 stars, but the original stylist who did my hair struggled to give me beachy curls. When I went it, I asked for a Mai Tai which is wavy/messy loose curls. After she finished, my hair was straight on the top and the bottom inch and a half had a few giant ringlet curls. I liked it at first because she told me it would look better when I ran my fingers through it at home. I got in the car and realized it was nothing like I asked. I went back inside and told them it just wasn't what I wanted. I requested another stylist fix it and that's when my stylist came back to try and fix it. It wasn't working so eventually the shift lead came and fixed it for me, and it now looks amazing. Definitely will be back, just will make sure I have a different stylist. read more

I recently had a blowout which included a wash, dry, and style. The wash was lovely with a nice scalp massage. My stylist listened to what I wanted and did a tighter curl as I wanted to preserve the curl for a couple days. She also let me know that dry styling here is $25 which is a much more affordable option if you want to wash your hair at home and have a look for a night out. The location was nice and clean and the whole time had Legally blonde playing-- love it! Parking was nice too since the deck is next to them and they validate. read more

Taking my mom to Drybar at its new midtown Atlanta location was an experience all of its own. My mom had recently been through a loss and deserved to feel glam for the day, the stylists and staff at dry bar catered to her every need! She was smiling ear to ear the entire time, we even purchased some products for her to take home! Thank you so much to all of the staff at Drybar Midtown Atlanta! I have been to DryBar several times for a blow-out and have always enjoyed the service. Last time I was in for a blow-out I saw in their menu an option for $10 a braid. I figured since it is summer it would be nice to have a couple of Dutch braids so I wouldn't have to do my hair for a couple of days. I showed up to Drybar with clean dry hair ready for a relatively quick service. It took at most 30 minutes to do my hair. I go up to pay and instead of paying $10 a braid they charged me $45. $45 is the price of a wash, blow dry, and style. Apparently the additional $25 is for something they call a dry style. Not sure what that entails but other than the braids there was no styling involved. I guess that is the fee for sitting in the chair. What a total. RIP OFF!!! With a 20% tip (because it wasn't the stylist's fault) I walked out with a $54 tab for 2 Dutch braids. When I expressed my issue with the total price for the service received, I was greeted with a less than helpful response. The advertised price of $10 a braid is deceiving. Even though it's cheaper to get a blow-out at most salons, I had fully expected to keep going there as a treat to myself. As of now, I won't be going back and they just saw the last of my hard earned money. read more

I love Dry Bar, and the Midtown location is no exception. It's fabulous. I've seen a few stylists there, but JP is the best. I got the best blow out of my life this weekend. He has a great energy, and really listens when you tell him what you want. My only complaint is that they pour tiny glasses of wine and you only get one.
