The Domain studio is a great location, beautiful studio and Katie A. (despite her adorable demeanor) was b-r-u-t-a-l! So challenging (she kept telling it WHY it was so good we were all shaking so hard!!), and fun. But Katie A. dropped serious knowledge, too. I've since learned that this Pure Pilates prides itself on super educating, training each instructor to the highest of standards and it shows!! Highly recommend. We will be back! I'm impressed to see this place is still as beautiful as the day I stopped by when I saw I came back in 2017, and now as a mom who needs to work on her mobility, health and core strength meets posture, this place did not disappoint! I've met Zilla, who Ally, the owner teaches some sessions on Wednesdays and I can get my doggy cuddles while I am getting my Pilates workout on? Win win! Even better is they're close by my office, which makes it a quick walk over! Sold! And with utilizing ClassPass and being friendly and no pressure, this is my kind of place and one that I plan to return to for a local boutique studio for my wellness and fitness goals!

But now that I've become a mom, and have a mom body, decided I'd try all the Pilates, core, barre you name it workouts in the vicinity of my bubble, and what better way than a quick walk from my office on the days I go into the office. I'm actually a lifetime member so I frequent my gym up north for the fantabulous child care, but pure barre was something I tried recently again with sweetgreens opening and sponsoring a workout class. I've found I absolutely love Pure Barre Define and Empower, these 2 have the core basis of the classic routine, but incorporate more weights and cardio than my prior core workouts of Classic. I am overdue for a classic trial, and taking classes with Rachel (owner) and Margaret have been absolutely lovely and fantastic, uplifting and such a highlight of my day, getting such a good workout in, and leaving just to do it all over again next week. I purchased a pack of credits and appreciate how I can get my classes, which this location can book up pretty quick if you don't book in advance, but the community is solid, and I love the classes are non judgemental, you go at your own pace, and the instructors have hands on adjustments to help you improve, and genuinely keep you here for yourself! I don't feel like I can go anywhere else and not leave high on endorphins and dying from a killer workout lol :) Finally - the fact that the music is everything I enjoy, well it 1000% makes my hour that much more enjoyable and fun. Their playlist is a bop as the kids say these days!

Wonderful workout and incredible staff. The studio is clean and everyone is so friendly. I love it!read more

I asked her to stop her comments and she continued her unwanted verbal harassment on two additional occasions. Coach Jonnie then defended her citing possible shoulder issues in two years time because of holding the handlebars. The Orangetheory coaches were not considering the used worn condition of the treadmills causing instability and a risk of injury from a slip and fall. Although the domain is a great location, the equipment at this Orangetheory is in aging, used condition so the coaches would be the primary reason for membership. The coaches should inspire, motivate and care about the members but sadly they were critical and offensive. The gym at my apartment building has brand new, state of the art equipment and I now run without needing the handlebars for stability. I canceled my Orangetheory membership and chose a virtual instructor called Rachel fitness who is based in Miami Florida plus rowing and running or elliptical.

For best results, going in 3 or 4 times a week will sculpt your body and boost your mood. I've always been physically active my entire life. I practiced professional dance for 23 years, ran track and played basketball. Non of those physical activities were for my husband and I wanted to find a workout that we could do together that he liked as well. We didn't have to go to far as we found Lagree Fit 415 studio just around the corner from where we lived in SF and after taking the first class, we were hooked. It's now going on 3 years with a break in between cause of the pandemic, moved to Austin, picked up where we left off at TLS ATX and I'm down 8lbs. I've been twice, both times on a ClassPass credit, my friend who has a membership toggles between frequenting the Triangle and Domain location as we both work up north, and she loves it. I'm a bit more chill, laid back and these days doing workouts, wanting to challenge myself and dedicate time to putting myself first, trying boutique studios with mega reformers, which are daunting and offer friendly coaches and great playlists that hit. The first time I showed up here, was on a lunch workday session, where the instructor showed up 1 minute before class started? I didn't get an overview of understanding cues, format and studio sessions groundwork of how the classes should go, winged it and copied and tried to follow what my friend was doing. A lot of people standing around wondering what to do, which was such a strange vibe. It was rushed and ended later too since we're behind but I thought to try again once more. Today I had a session with coach Kendall and she brought the vibes and energy to cheer me along! I loved it, plus with this 7am Saturday class being extra gloomy and grey outside, she was so fun and offered a friendly newbie where to go, and frequent hands on correction, all the things you'd expect from a studio for the price point and smaller class size. I don't think this is the workout for me tho - the classes in the studio are extra loud, dark and the blue lights are dim like a club lol - which if you're into making the class a night out but for improving your fitness, this is it. For my mid 30's self in my mom suburban chill life, maybe not so much ha :) All around I still had a very challenging time, and appreciated that the 50 mins flew by!

This review is long overdue, but here it is:…read more I started doing Crossfit for the first time at CrossFit REP since ~October 2019, after having transitioned through various other programs, such as Orange Theory Fitness, HEAT Bootcamp, F45, etc. All of these places have been instrumental in developing my physique/fitness capacity. However, it wasn't until a joined this place that I started gaining muscle... like, 10lbs of muscle, and improved my posture/exercises exponentially. Sidenote: during these times of crises the gym has been closed. However, I have been able to maintain my level because they now offer online classes through zoom (see pictures) which are really good and kick my butt every time. Okay, back to the review. Here are some other things I love about this place--in no particular order: * The workouts/program: It is hard to find a place that takes the program as seriously as CrossFitREP does. Jake and the coaches are always ensuring that the workouts are good enough for people that come a few times a week and also doable for people that want to drop in every day. Very solid program. * The coaches/classes: Not a single coach that I haven't been impressed by or learned something from every day. Also--compared to other places--classes are small enough that coaches actually DO have the time to pay attention to you at all times. It almost feels like personal training, in a way. * The community: Lovely group of like-minded people. Everyone has a reason to show up but at the end of the day, we all support and motivate each other no matter what. This is the type of thing that can make or break that last rep. Also, plenty of events happening every month (see my picture winning the January attendance challenge) even during the COVID-19 self-quarantine, such as trivia nights, cooking classes, etc. Let's just say it's a community first and gym second. Lastly, don't be scared of giving CrossFit a shot. A lot of people Google their way out of it and my advice is: just try it out. People have polarizing opinions about CrossFit but it really just is what you make of it.
