I'm impressed to see this place is still as beautiful as the day I stopped by when I saw I came back in 2017, and now as a mom who needs to work on her mobility, health and core strength meets posture, this place did not disappoint! I've met Zilla, who Ally, the owner teaches some sessions on Wednesdays and I can get my doggy cuddles while I am getting my Pilates workout on? Win win! Even better is they're close by my office, which makes it a quick walk over! Sold! And with utilizing ClassPass and being friendly and no pressure, this is my kind of place and one that I plan to return to for a local boutique studio for my wellness and fitness goals!

My sister and I did the 1-month unlimited intro package for $180 and completed 20 classes, so we…read morereally got to experience the studio! Overall, we enjoyed the pace and structure of the classes. Most sessions are a slower burn with a strong focus on legs and glutes. The 45-minute format is a great sweet spot - it feels efficient and effective. Parking is also easy, with a few spots up front and a larger lot just a short walk away. That said, there are a few areas that could improve the experience: * Modifications: Instructors do a great job offering more advanced and challenging variations for experienced clients, which we appreciated, but they don't consistently provide modifications for those on the flip side. While we've seen instructors occasionally bring over balance poles or offer tweaks, this could be done much more consistently. Some students clearly struggle with certain movements, but rarely get offered alternative options like switching to forearms or adjusting spring tension. It often feels like you're either expected to push through or figure it out yourself. Including more beginner-friendly modifications would make the classes feel more inclusive and supportive. * Form corrections: Most instructors give general cues to the room, like "keep your hips square," but there's little individual feedback. It would be helpful if instructors walked around and gave personalized adjustments (with consent), especially when someone's form is clearly off or they're unsure if they're doing something right. Small, specific corrections can make a huge difference in both results and injury prevention. * Muscle engagement and intent: One class with Minjae really stood out - she explained exactly where we should be feeling the burn (outer glutes), and offered a simple adjustment (shift hips back) if we were feeling it in the wrong place (quads). That kind of clear, technical guidance helps so much in understanding how to activate the right muscles. More of this across instructors would be incredibly valuable. * Class structure: It'd be great to have some targeted classes - not every class needs to be full-body. A few sessions focused on arms/back or core would help people build a more balanced weekly routine and keep things feeling fresh. * Stretching: The cool-down at the end of class is often rushed. Adding even just 5 minutes of guided stretching would help release tension and end class on a more intentional note. * Studio space: More mirrors would be super helpful for checking and correcting form. Right now, only a few sides of the room have mirrors, which limits visibility. All that said, we truly enjoyed our month here and felt supported and challenged throughout. The instructors bring great energy, and the studio offers a solid foundation for anyone getting into Pilates. Thank you for creating such a welcoming space - excited to see how things continue to evolve!

They convinced me to pause instead and ASSURED me the pause was indefinite. They told me that I would be charged $15 indefinitely for pausing my account, however, they charged me $119 for 6 months. They now refuse to call me back or refund my money. They are in the business of taking money in whatever scammy way they can. If I were them, I would trust my loyal customers and provide refunds when asked. However, that is not the case. There is a clear record that I did not attend a single class during this time because I was told I was on pause. STAY AWAY!!

I asked her to stop her comments and she continued her unwanted verbal harassment on two additional occasions. Coach Jonnie then defended her citing possible shoulder issues in two years time because of holding the handlebars. The Orangetheory coaches were not considering the used worn condition of the treadmills causing instability and a risk of injury from a slip and fall. Although the domain is a great location, the equipment at this Orangetheory is in aging, used condition so the coaches would be the primary reason for membership. The coaches should inspire, motivate and care about the members but sadly they were critical and offensive. The gym at my apartment building has brand new, state of the art equipment and I now run without needing the handlebars for stability. I canceled my Orangetheory membership and chose a virtual instructor called Rachel fitness who is based in Miami Florida plus rowing and running or elliptical.

I've been twice, both times on a ClassPass credit, my friend who has a membership toggles between frequenting the Triangle and Domain location as we both work up north, and she loves it. I'm a bit more chill, laid back and these days doing workouts, wanting to challenge myself and dedicate time to putting myself first, trying boutique studios with mega reformers, which are daunting and offer friendly coaches and great playlists that hit. The first time I showed up here, was on a lunch workday session, where the instructor showed up 1 minute before class started? I didn't get an overview of understanding cues, format and studio sessions groundwork of how the classes should go, winged it and copied and tried to follow what my friend was doing. A lot of people standing around wondering what to do, which was such a strange vibe. It was rushed and ended later too since we're behind but I thought to try again once more. Today I had a session with coach Kendall and she brought the vibes and energy to cheer me along! I loved it, plus with this 7am Saturday class being extra gloomy and grey outside, she was so fun and offered a friendly newbie where to go, and frequent hands on correction, all the things you'd expect from a studio for the price point and smaller class size. I don't think this is the workout for me tho - the classes in the studio are extra loud, dark and the blue lights are dim like a club lol - which if you're into making the class a night out but for improving your fitness, this is it. For my mid 30's self in my mom suburban chill life, maybe not so much ha :) All around I still had a very challenging time, and appreciated that the 50 mins flew by!

It wasn't just a matter of the weight I had packed on in the past few years. I also knew I was terrible at holding myself accountable to actually go and DO the workout. I'd make every excuse possible; work is too busy, it's too far, it's too expensive, I can do it on my own.... (fill in the blank). After talking to a few trainers (at other companies), I settled on Shawn who had been introduced to me several months prior in relation to Real Estate (I'm a Realtor). I reached out, and found his approach to be thoughtful, well prescribed and he actually LISTENED! I explained the health challenges I had, what my expectations were, and what experiences I had with working out. I simply cannot work out at super intense levels with my health concerns. I wanted a trainer who would be willing to understand this and not just throw me a generic workout plan because that's all they know. In terms of Shawn himself and everyone at FxFit... awesome! Shawn is very accommodating with my ever changing schedule, when he was travelling for the holidays, he lined up a trainer to work with me. He sends workouts during the week to keep reminding me of what I could be doing this week in between workouts. He recently got Crossfit trained, and is always looking to improve his skill set as well. He know's his stuff, hires great trainers, is humble, thoughtful and actually listens. If you're still reading this, why? STOP. Go sign up already!
