We'd always live near Ralph's or Vons or close to Costco but up here we have local grocery stores that we love. We also have Stater Brothers that has some of the other things that we would normally get The services the roses great as always it's right by the lake in Lake arrowhead great views from the parking lot, their bakery is great. We always get pastries when we go and stop by so to say that this is a great state of Brothers compared to all the other grocery stores I've been to. I love this one.

I decided to buy a bag of chips. Then I saw beautifully packaged baklava at the cash register counter. I bought the big gold box full of baklava. Oh wow...just like another reviewer said, these are the BEST baklava I've ever had! These are packaged so nicely, they would make a nice gift too. The closest grocery store was mountain high market and though I was grateful not to have to drive to Lake Arrowhead and back I was disappointed in the high prices and mostly canned and frozen food. Despite the lack of choices, the service here was AMAZING which I have never seen at a grocery store. The couple who ran it offered homemade baklava (which was literally the best I've ever had) and even helped me take my bags to my car IN THE RAIN! Talk about going above and beyond! Also even though the prices were high and the food selection was small it was the best option in the area and the $180 spent on groceries paid for 4 meals plus snacks for 5 people which was a much better alternative than going out for every meal.

I was shocked at the actual square footage of this store as it looks much smaller from the street. Additionally, I never noticed they have a Starbucks within. Initially I only intended to stop in for a meager bag of tortilla chips, but I soon found myself walking other aisles just to peruse the variety of goods available. There's a full-service bakery with an impressive display case near the entrance (adjacent to the Starbucks), and the steaks at the meat counter were equally attractive. The deli section was doing a good business with several people in line for sandwiches, and I noticed a hot soup station, as well. I hate shopping at Lake Arrowhead village on weekends due to the traffic and, though this Jensens was doing a very brisk business, the ease of parking is so much better. I have been relying on the little market in Cedar Glen (a former Jensens, ironically) for emergency "basics, " but it's nice to know there is a larger, better-stocked, option available a short five miles distant.

I've used this Rite-Aid for a couple of years, usually without incident. Recently, the treatment…read morewe received was so abhorrent that we are moving all of our prescriptions elsewhere. Here's what happened: My girlfriend was filling a prescription for a controlled sleep med. She went at noon and was told come back after 3pm. We called at 3pm and were told to come back at 4:45 (They close the Pharmacy at 5pm on Sunday). When we arrived they told us the system was down and they were not able to give us the prescription....which my girlfriend NEEDS to sleep. It was at this point I realized the system was down all day, and instead of informing us so we could transfer the prescription they covered the issue up. Had they divulged the real situation we could have transferred the prescription. The pharmacy tech told us the best she could do was tomorrow morning...for a sleep med. There was exactly ZERO concern, empathy, or effort to solve this problem on her part. When I called the next morning we were told try to again in the afternoon (system obviously still down). PS: The only reason this review is 2 stars and not 1, is I don't take 1 star reviews seriously. I can see why Rite-Aid Corporation had to file bankruptcy.

This beautiful young lady with long wavy red hair was great trying to check on another tequila bottle. I have to be quite honest I completely forgot her name. I was in love with how long her hair she gave my mom and I great service and was fun to have small talk with. She complimented my nails as well. This young lady was quick to help the customers and not have a long line. Definitely coming back and this next time I will post her name :)
