My husband and I do not have the best credit. It's not bad credit but no credit. We went here because we were told we could get a car through a loan they go through. And we did. We got a used car. They showed it to us and it was dirty with a cracked dash and broken middle console. But cleaned up nice. And we could fix the rest, so we did it. 2 months after our 2 year warranty expired... The lift rod broke and damaged the camshaft! We are still on a loan and they refuse to help us. Our loan company states that they are required to help us and that it states it in our loan agreement. However, they said they couldn't do anything for us. When we got it they also told us after 2 years we can refinance it. Well guess what... It's a 2009 and everyone has told us it's to old to refinance. It's also to old for the lemon law to be in affect. But it gets better... We still owe almost $10,000 on it. We had another dealership look at it and said it's only worth $5,000 and they ripped us off. Kelley blue book says it's worth $5,300! So we won't even be able to sell it for the price of our loan left to pay it off. We are stuck either continuing our payments untill it's paid off, having it repossessed or voluntary repossessed. They whole reason we went there is because we couldn't afford a new dealership. Now we are stuck paying for something we can't afford to fix as we have been told it will be close to $5,000 to fix. Looks like our only true option will be to get a lawyer and go after them for scamming us into this junk. read more

Wow! What a great place to buy a used car! I was looking for a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, so I called Magic after seeing their online add. Ron, one of the owners, answered the phone and within a couple of minutes, I felt I had known him for years! Great guy, and he is very knowledgeable as he has been in this business/industry his whole life. Ron took me inside to meet the other owner, Herb, also a great guy! I learned a valuable lesson I got a car from this small company in hesperia and I thought I got a good deal on a 2012 dodge journey but after 4 months of having it and buying their recommended warranty that covered nothing. Here I am with a car that has so many issues and and everything coming out of pocket to get it to run and I havent had it a year I'm warning everyone about this place stay away. Because the manager says he never knows what kind of vehicle they have on the lot and had no idea it had many issues but I found a stop leak in the coolant that suggest other wise. This business deserves about a quarter of a star at best. These people look you in the eye and smile while they lie to your face about financing and the condition of the vehicle. We caught multiple things wrong with the vehicle we were buying and true they promise to fix it as you find it however if you dont thoroughly operate every aspect of the vehicle and catch things that dont work right they dont fix it. Which tells me they dont check the vehicles themselves. They ask for all paperwork they need to prove your capabilities to pay for the vehicles, get you approved then tell you everything is good, then they will ask for more paperwork, then more paperwork and before you know it you are spending more time doing paperwork than it takes to buy a house. Also keep in mind they only have 10 days to finalize the financing from the date that you sign the contract, it's on the back of your contract or they are in violation of the contract. If they violate the contract they have to finance the vehicle themselves if you want it or they have to pay you back in full and take the vehicle back. If they wont do either then you can file a complaint with the DMV online and the DMV will investigate your complaint and possibly audit their files. There were threats of repossession and even blocked in on the lot and held against my will by Ron (the alleged owner). He called the police and the police told him that he was in the wrong and to move the vehicle blocking my way multiple times, it took the police officer to tell him it was his last warning and the deputy to reach for his handcuffs before the vehicle was moved so I can leave. They were demanding that a GPS be placed on the vehicle and we refused. If this is something that is demanded after the the financing is done, if you did not sign an agreement to a GPS before then you can legally refuse. With this in mind I can say that this is the most crooked place I have ever dealt with when purchasing a vehicle and this is just a summary of what we went through with Ron (alleged owner) and Gabriel (the salesman and finance person). I cannot stress to you enough to not do business with these people and if you are currently thinking about it, RUN!!! read more

Called this dealership looking for a dependable inexpensive car for my husbands brother. Dealership said they had a car that would work for us and the price was under $4000. Went straight over to the dealership to find out that they really wanted was over $5000 and it needed work so we would have had to have it towed somewhere to have it repaired. Car could not even be test driven. Absolutely ridiculous. Not sure if this is how they deal with all people that call, say one thing to get you on the lot and then tell you what they really want hoping you will just pay it. We were not playing that game and left the lot. All I can say is if you call BEWARE what information they give you over the phone. read more

Even knowing that we would not be buying a suv that day, Gilbert was friendly and never pressured us to look at anything. Magic auto sales can get you financed but BEWARE!!! They tell you that they are helping you to rebuild your credit but it's a scam. I went back after a year to try & trade my car in & was told, AGAIN, that after I finished paying off my car, that it would be reported to the credit agencies. Imagine my surprise when it wasn't!!! When I called I was told "they should've" & maybe I can get a letter from the company that financed me. After 3 days of no response back from magic OR the finance company, I called again & Gilbert told me that they DONT report to credit agencies! & the company that I was sending my payments to all along was actually a collection agency! After giving $4500 down & religiously making my payment every month, my credit is no better than it was 3 years ago. They will say anything to sell a car. DO NOT TRUST THEM. I wouldn't go here again if my life depended on it. They do very shady business. when we were looking to buy a car, we told them we had $1500 to put down. He had us sign all the paperwork for the car THEN. Told us we had a week to come up with another $500 for the deposit or we'd lose the car. The rear window wasn't working, which was supposed to be fixed per out contract, but whenever I tried to contact them about getting it fixed they would give me the run around. Then they said it had to be done in the first 30 days (there was no time period in the contract). I ended up having to fix it myself. Within the first month we also had to replace the alternator. One of the cars we test drove was making a clicking sound. We asked if it would be fixed and were told "I'm already barely making anything on it, so we're not doing any work to it." This is not the attitude a car dealership should have about it's stock. read more
