I don't EVER write reviews, but chiiiiiile. As someone who has worked in customer service for years, it's something that I always pay attention to especially when shopping at small businesses. These people do NOT KNOW WTF customer service is!! They were standing around when I walked in and NOBODY greeted me. Nobody asked if I needed help. But they made sure to share down my throat. I felt eyes on me the ENTIRE time I was there. It was so uncomfortable.. I should've just left. Another customer had a lot of questions and this man was being SO rude to her! Raised his voice.. replied to her with smart ass remarks. It was terrible. The only time he was polite was when I went to the register and was ready to spend my coins !! THEN I got a "thank you, have a good day!"..... Sir, f**k you. Lol ANDDD they were out of a lot of the good stuff! Definitely never shopping there again. read more

Magic has become my one stop shop for most of our nail supplies. They have a large variety of Gel brands like Opi, Kiara Sky, Orly, Essie etc... When purchasing a large quantity Come prepare with a list of everything you need. The young girl and guy are of great help, as long as you know what you need. read more

I think this store has everything u need for nails even though it's small it's a bit pricey on a few things but not really it's always stocked. the 101 employees are very helpful n kind Some times they watch u a lil to much but it's understandable they got good quality items and a good selection only store in reseda with good priced brushes of good quality read more

I drove 40 minutes to this store as I was relying on amazon and sally beauty for all of my nail products, and the drive was 100% worth it! It may be the area I am from does not have many nail supply stores, but I have never seen such a variety products, brands, and colors. I must have spent almost an hour in the store and came out like a kid at disneyland; there was a huge variety of products at well below the prices at sallys, and the staff were kind and available to talk to but also not badgering you. I almost didnt go because the most recent reviews were not so great- taking them into account I thought that although the store was a tad disorganized (a lot of products in a small space) I can't find any other cons about this place. They are a gem in the valley. Big selection of opi gel and all the nail supplies you might need. You have to enter through the back door by the parking lot. It's a family business I think, they are all nice. Great prices. The only nail supply store in the valley. And they have name brands which is nice. You have to go into LA to go anywhere else like it. Well, they have every polish you could ever imagine for very low prices, but that's about the only plus. I was specifically looking for tools to start doing my own nail art and was very disappointed. No stamps, tape, stickers....just some rhinestones. And they aren't helpful either. One person asked what I was looking for and I showed him pictures...and he said "I don't know ill look for it in a minute" and continued to stand there and do nothing. What was he doing where he couldn't help? So I started going up and down every aisle to look myself. When I made my way back to the counter the guy disappeared and another one was there, equally as unhelpful. I just asked him if there were any other places he could recommend me finding these things and he couldn't even use energy to speak a full word...he just grunted and shrugged hahaha I have enough polish. Magic Beauty Supply has the most incredible selection of nail polishes, regular lacquer and gel! As well as any other supply need.

THE most annoying beauty supply in the area! Only come here if you are absolutely in an emergency and in dire need of supplies! They are SOOOOO annoying! First off they don't except any kind of electronic payments like Google pay or Apple Pay, Secondly, your minimum for a card transaction cost to be $20! 20 freaking dollars! That is SO ridiculous to me- $10 is standard. Don't get me started on customer service. That is not available here. It's like you should know what you already want and then just ask where it is and they point from their stool. I deal with the same cranky man in a black wool peacoat every time and the dude is DEPRESSED. Only two stars are for decent variety of product, pricing and location - I would suggest you drive the extra distance and go to Rosemead, I suggest Tommy Beauty Supply SUCH bomb service and prices so cheap!! Literally any nail supply out there would be WAAAAY better than this outdated dungeon of a "nail supply". Calling this place MEDICORE would be giving it a compliment. Decent at best. read more

I am absolutely obsessed with nail polish so this beauty supply store was a spectacular find for me! The store is not meant to be "professional," like Sally's or ULTA, so to me the appearance of the store or how it is organized is no problem, especially because the prices are exceptional. They carry almost every Essie, OPI, Orly and China Glaze color out there for very fair prices. I am a big fan of Essie and they are only $4 at MBS, whereas at any other store they are $8, so I only pay half price! Overall, if you need nail polish and need a specific brand for a cheap price this place is perfect! read more

They had a great selection of gel polish and dip powder. They have DnD, Gelish, OPI, and so much Kiara Sky! When you first walk into the store that first section, it's very tight and a lot of things are kind of old but once you pass that section it opens up and they have great stuff! I have never ever felt like they are trying to force a sale, they genuinely want to help you find the right product. They are so knowledgeable too, so I value their opinions and advice. Prices are good, low and they have sooo many options which I loved. The younger man who spoke English was helpful didn't get any bad customer service from anyone. I haven't tried out the products just yet, I'm reading reviews after I shopped there and they're saying it's old and separated so I'm looking forward to that... the inside could use a lot of organizing... however I'm leaving this review because I felt uncomfortable and pressured in there. I felt like I was being watched and followed as if I were going to steal something (and I get it it's not in the best neighborhood but still, be more slick about it please). I wanted to buy more things but forgot all about it because I felt the pressure of them following me... maybe they were trying to stay around just in case I needed helped but after reading more reviews I really don't think so :( All in all I'd still go back just because it's close and cheap, but I at least know what I'm getting myself into. I think this is one of the best places to get inexpensive polish. The prices for polish very depending on the brand for example, china glaze is about $3.75, essie $4.00, and OPI a bit more. There are also less known brands such as "duri".They also carry all essentials for nail polishing such as remover, top coats, oils, they even carry LED/UV polish. Also, customer service wise I have never had an issue with the employees, they ask if you need help and if not they let you be. This store is a hidden gem and if you are anywhere near you should definitely stop by. read more

I'd honestly give this place 0 stars if I could. I went here out of necessity when I was studying to be a licensed nail tech, because at that time I got a "nail school student" discount, and now, I only go, very very super rarely if I absolutely have to in the event of a "nail emergency". It's really, really hard to take when you go to buy a bottle of OPI and you're charged 8.50 for it, when you can go to Cosmoprof (owned by Sally's), flip out your red Pro Card, and only be charged 5.50 for the same bottle, which is your rightful "I'm in the Industry" discount. Yes, it took it happening to me twice at Magic, to come around and realize I was being charged unfairly and for that, they've lost my business for good..and please, don't get me started on how there's "different prices for different people" there too, because that's a practice I've also seen happen and after asking around, I was told it's well-known by all the techs working in the area...only go there to get the hook-up if you're in school, or if you're a "friend-family" member...otherwise, stay very far away, because you'll get no discounts and you'll be charged full retail for everything. Be sure to have cash on you. They only take credit cards with $20+ purchase. OPI is my favorite brand of nail polish. They had a couple shelves of different colors but not as many as some other nail supply shops I've been to. I would say this is probably the best shop I've found in the valley so far. Got an OPI top coat, OPI color polish and small bottle of acetone for $14. read more

Not sure if this is the only nail supply in the Valley... but there is not a large selection of brands. The merchandise is also way over priced. A pack of acrylic files is 25.50 here. This it THE place for cheap nail polish in the valley! China Glaze is $3! $3!!!!! It does not get better than that. They also have a big selection of OPI (regularly priced at $8.50), Essie (which is around $4), and other random brands. Small space, nice employees, and easy metered street parking. This place is CRUSTY. It looks like they haven't cleaned the place in 10 years. Products are old and most of the nail polishes are separated. If my nail tech were getting products from here I would be very skeptical. I'd rather buy from Amazon or sally. read more

Love this place! I went on Sunday and I was so surprised at how inexpensive everything was...Tammy Taylor nail powders for half price, OPI nail polishes for $3, China Glaze for $2, Kolinsky brushes for $15...everything was very good quality and cheap. The only thing is that no one offers to help, they're all around the Tv (I don't blame them) but a little talking would be nice. This will now be my go-to place for nail supplies! read more

Great prices on their nail polishes, base and top coats, and nail treatments. They have brands from china glaze, Essie, OPI, and Orly with a good amount of color selections from cream, glitter, metallics, etc. They usually have the newest collections on display at the counter. This place has a $10 minimum for paying with cards but I forgot about that and the owner let me slide. The workers here speak English which is a plus b/c they can help you look for what you need. I don't think this place carries any hair products, maybe a couple hair dye but no false eyelashes here. This is my go to nail supply store whenever I'm in the valley! I went here to buy supplies to do my own nails and I'm so glad I did. The store was very clean and had tons of options. They had way more than any other supply store I have been to and a lot of it was much cheaper. I bought a nail brush, roll of nail forms, monomer, glass dipping basin, and two containers of acrylic powder for about $30. If you spend under $20 bring cash because that's the minimum to use a debit card. read more
