Wow ! Am I furious or what?…read more So I took a few items to the closet trading company branch in Westlake village for resell. One of them was a new 400$ red leather coat . Some items sold but the pricey leather coat didn't. I kept checking weekly to see the status. Suddenly yesterday the item disappeared off their site and my account. I called today and that's when I was taken aback. According to the sales lady they keep it for three months and then if you don't ask for it in writing at least a week before the three months expire then the item is literally theirs to keep. They don't even send you an e mail or text reminder . Just poof - gone! apparently they put it in small letters as part of their contract when you first consign but never actually tell these details to you in person. Only reason I still gave this place 3 stars is because I do like my tank tops for dance class and the people there are really nice people. Both times I've been in the lady gave me a thing or two for free, but other than the tanks, ill probably not buy anything else there unless I like to waste my money. The pricing was fair, the work was outstanding, and when I wasn't 100% thrilled with the chain I had ordered, we had a full discussion to get to the bottom of the issue. Simple fix, just a bit too shiny and needed a bit more antiquing. Malila said, We want you to be happy and not just okay with your purchase. Within a day or two, the chain was antiqued more, and it's now perfect! Great experience, and now I have beautiful new memories of my mom's jewelry.
