As someone who's lived in St. Augustine a long time I have to say Magic Hideaway stands on it's own. It was the most unique, memorable event I've experienced in town. From the magician, Bill Abbott, to his lovely wife Rebecca, we could not have felt more welcome. The cocktail reception before the show is 5 star and gives you the opportunity to meet and mingle with Bill and other guests. We absolutely loved experiencing the magic first hand during the reception, but what awaits you behind the gilded doors and red velvet curtains is unbelievable. Simply blown away by the magic, hilarity and theatrics. I will be talking about this event for a long time and it's now by go-to-recommendation for anyone visiting St. Augustine and wanting a truly unique night out. This is a very entertaining show, and at $5 is undoubtedly the best value in St. Augustine. Our magician was Jafo, who peppered his magic with Dad jokes in English and Spanish. My one complaint was that it ended so quickly; I think I speak for many when I say that I would have paid more to have him extend the show. Don't skip this! read more

This guy was outstanding! Just happened to walk through the hotel lobby and saw the sign. Came back later and decided to go. Don't let the price discourage you from going. It's worth every penny. Very intimate venue so you you can see everything (or not see anything). He includes everyone, so you can personally experience how incredibly good he is. It's the next day and I can't stop thinking about how the heck he did any of the stuff he did. This is a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an evening with family/friends. I promise, you won't be able to stop talking about it. I rarely review anything. This is an amazing show. I'd go back in a heartbeat. Do yourself a favor. Check it out! read more

I went by myself to the Magic Hideaway at the beautiful Casa Monica resort for my birthday. It was such an intimate experience that I didn't feel alone. Rebecca greeted me by name when I arrived and the whole experience was very warm and inviting. There was so much excitement and Bill was captivating and amazing.
